Can't believe split the atom was at one point like the pinnacle of yoyo tricks. I was involved in this generation of yoyo craze as a kid, I was 8 when this was out, and from the UK. I started throwing again in December, its so different now.
Met him once in a machine shop in tucson Arizona I sent a yoyo into the floor bounced up and busted me in the fact super embarrassed but it was cool to met him very nice guy!
This guy came to my primary school in Malaysia SMK Bukit Bandaraya back in the 90s and bought my first Proyo and later Playmaxx Bumblebee cause of him :) Hope he’s doing well wherever he is
he uses turbo bumble bees around £30 back in the day and they are crap! well.. they are good whilst the cork-brake lasts then you have to FIND another. I have 2 £100 aluminium yoyo's but to be honest the yomega raider as mentioned above is just as good, lighter, and cheaper.
Yoyoing was a massive con as most people didn't realize they only worked for like a week until they just stopped spinning on the axel. Wonder if this guy has a real job now
A con?? Sorry mate . Just means you were / are crap at yo-yos . I’ve still got some bumblebee yo-yos same as he’s using . They perform perfectly as they did back then . The pads and string are serviceable items . Pleb

It was an original ProYo, they were about £9.99 at the time I think.
They are called bumblebee’s by playmaxx , they were not just normal proyos for 9.99 , they were 29.99 back then
