Everything about this hulk is top notch. The aggression, strength, the speed, ferocity, mercilessness. Man this hulk is irreplaceable. I hate how marvel sees this character now.
They could’ve a better job of The Abomination though they ought to have stuck to the original version instead of something out of the Doom computer game.

Breaks my heart that this movie doesn't get the respect it deserves, incredible movie. I remember watching it in the cinema & everytime he roared along with giving me goosebumps...you could feel the unbridled power emanating from this Hulk. Like his power had no limit. It was just an empty void of pure unfathomable rage. Ruffulo hulk is an absolute wuss next to him & ain't no way Thanos is having his fun with this version.
Of we fans respect the hell out of this movie. Disney just thinks they know better than us and they don’t.

@@Drumpro31 I think 2003 did the best job of showing the Hulk's full power set. His strength growing as he gets angrier, the fact that he grows way larger the further into the movie he gets, and just in general, I like the fact that he seemed aware of what he was doing most of the time. However, this film absolutely nailed the fear factor of the Hulk, especially his roar. Weirdly enough, while the CGI does look a bit dated, I actually think it works in the movie's favor. His uncanny aesthetic makes him scarier.

He has so much detail going to his muscles and veins. His facial animations are so outstanding because you can see all of that anger within his face. And his movements when he uses his arms and hands are so outstanding.

I do much prefer the darker, more muscley, primal force and unbridled rage of this hulk. The way he always looks constantly enraged but shows it subtlety through just glaring as well as roaring, how he actually shows intelligence in battle and you can tell how his anger gives him more strength.
I enjoy the comic antics of ruffalos hulk as well, but I do wish we had more moments like this for his hulk instead of always being treated like a mindless stupid illiterate idiot beast

That's cause movies back then, despite having inferior technology, took their time with and didn't rush. Which is why a lot of the late 2000s CGI holds good even today(SM2, ASM 1 and 2, Transformers, etc). The MCU halfway into the 2010s started releasing 5 movies a year but developed the CGI on Adobe Flash animation lmao

I’ve always thought that this interpretation of the Hulk is more faithful than the current one. MCU have humanized the Hulk instead of letting the Jekyll/Hyde tension inside him be his defining character.

Bill Bixby was my introduction to the Incredible Hulk. As far as I'm concerned, nobody will ever be able to top Bill Bixby as Dr. Banner.
The director explained that it was a tribute to mr. Bixby .... like you see Lou (Hulk) Ferrigno in both 2003 and 2008 films.
Lou Feriggno even recommended Edward Norton for the role because he reminded him of Bixby.
I can't imagine Norton's Hulk surviving until Endgame.Maybe Thanos if he heard the roar at 0:32.Thanos would think twice about fighting him in the early moments of Infinity War.

If Thanos goes full tryhard mode like he did in Endgame when he fought Cap, Thor and Iron Man togheter Hulk will have a really tough match, keep in mind that Thanos also had his Uru sword which broke Cap's vibranium shield easily and he held back Thor in full rage mode who pushed with all his might with both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker with just one arm. The best chance for Hulk would be to engade Thanos witout his sword, after it got destroyed when it destroyed the extra time machine along with Captain Marvel. Thanos will get the upper hand early like Abomination had but if Hulk gets angry enough he might at least do some hard damage to Thanos but keep also in mind that Thanos who has 1000 year of combat experience will try to find a way to counter Hulk's attacks before that happens. Abomination a.k.a Emil Blonsky worked in the military and was an experienced soldier but it can never match Thanos who fought planet wars and won all of them so it will be definetly harder for Hulk than against Abomination.

But this Hulk IS already part of the MCU. Both Norton's Hulk and Ruffalo's Hulk are canonically the same character, he just got ruined and wasted in the more later films.

The good choices of music, excelent Hulk's first appearance without shadows (like in the factory), nice fights and dramatic scenes and NO STUPID JOKES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DEADLY BATTLE.

I’ve come to realise after all these years that this is the best hulk we have gotten not just in terms of how this hulk actually acts like the hulk but I’ve also grown fond of his design I’m a fan of the long hair and I really wish they kept his cgi model for the other MCU films, just enhancing the cgi in every film and making him age like they did with marks hulk in Thor 3.
Still the best version of hulk. Pure anger and power.
The more I watch this movie, the more I actually enjoy it, especially after watching some of the more recent installments of the MCU. What we're missing a lot now is how grounded and subtle the movies are in terms of establishing a universe, and it makes it even crazier that Phase 1 films are still being connected back to today, as if each film was more substantial than an entire phase of MCU films and shows.
I am glad that Marvel Studios is finally being a little more open with this movie, especially with the number of connections and recurring characters. I hope that someday, more people will start looking back at this movie and appreciate it for being at least a decent movie.
