There are many clips on the Internet with this problem. Otherwise, it is very qualitative, silent, and has no rubber on the wheels
Get the G502 instead. Better quality sensor and Razer reliability I haven't heard much good from the last few years. You can get the optional wireless charging mouse pad for the G502, it has room for and includes weights to change the weighted feel of the mouse. I prefer a weighted feel. I don't understand the "lightest" mice being so much better even for competitive. The mouse is light af anyways, I feel like the weight makes my control better when I only want extremely small adjustments(sniping). And, if you don't want to spend money on the wireless G502's wireless charging pad(an extra $100 when I got it), get one of those quick disconnect android charging cables that have the magnetic attachment that can quickly be detached without messing with the plug itself. This is sooo much better and for when you want to charge the mouse and still game, when you only want to do something super basic or briefly and not take it off the stand just to place it back on in a few minutes, etc.

while even a phone that is cheaper than that is now using USBC
and it dont cost very much extra to add a USB-C port over USBMicro
Thomas Huynh so what if you buy it for your laptop which only have type-c ports?
Doctor Flux yeah...that is one hell of good points mate. I am consider to buy g913 and because it used micro usb which i already got risk of since late 2017...i have to buy g813 instead

Nothing can beat my $69.99 Logitech G903 Hero Wireless, cheap and it just works. Totally recommend it
Simply not as good as my G502 lightspeed, I'll keep using logitech for now
My razer mamba and dock died last week, just seen this mouse with dock going for £105. Just placed a order, looking forward to giving it a try.
Him: no, this is not a g502
Me: Thats basicly a g502
I'm currently using the Viper Ultimate for Multiplayer Competitive games (CS:GO, CoDMW, Rainbow Six Siege) though I'm thinking about also picking this one up for MMOs and other singleplayer titles
G502 chroma
I do wish this had a lightspeed power charge function like the Logitech has, it's a feature that I love and would find it hard to break away from if I ever moved to another mouse.
I don’t think the Razer ballsack ultimate is a good name
You mean "Basilisk"

The Basilisk is my mouse of choice. I like the feel more than the g502 because the Logitech is too narrow and skinny for me. It also has too many buttons for my liking. The Basilisk is perfect though, and while the hyperscroll is nice at times, I find the Razer scroll wheel to be very aesthetic and I can't complain at all. The ultimate looks good but I'm sticking with the original seeing as it's less than half the price!
2 fewer buttons, micro-USB, and it's more expensive? I think I'm sticking w/ the G502
So one can put the USB into the charging dock and that will transfer the mouse signal to the pc?
Atm, Logitech has the bests mouses for almost everything. Nice try Razer G502....
naw... Logitechs customer support is also garbage.
False, Viper Ultimate
@jackt I'm still using my G403 Wireless and imo it's the best mouse for me. Best sensor and best shape.
@@iceagex cuz u haven't tried any other mice. I switched from my GPW back to my Air58 cuz that shit was slippery
@@howled0 i've had better support from logitech than i have had from razer :| in fact, logitech was one of the easiest companies to deal with in terms of warranty claims. my g900 battery life was abysmal as the battery aged faster than expected, they gave me a g903 (had to send my g900 back but only after i got the g903) which after more than a year is still perfectly fine. i lost the dongle on my g403 and i asked them if i could purchase a new dongle... they sent me one for free :| way back when i was using my logitech G9, the buttons stopped reliably activating (dirty switches), they sent me a G9x (they let me keep the G9).
i've been using my g403 as my main mouse as it fits my hand the best out of the g603, g903, g502, while the g9x/g9 are a good fit, they use laser sensors and i can't seem to get used to their acceleration (not 1:1 movement, it's dependent on how fast you move the mouse) the razer deathadder was nice, but it annoyed the crap out of me that i HAD to use razer synapse to use it with my specified dpi (does not have onboard memory, it was an og deathadder) ended up giving it away to a friend after razer synpase basically forced you to create an account to use the product.
mmm i just realized i have a computer mouse hoarding problem (.-. ) i have some 15 "gaming" computer mice including the deathadder i gave away.
Amazon is currently selling the mouse and dock for $80 (less than half price)
it's almost exactly the same as the 502 lol.. if you're gonna copy homework atleast change it up a little
i have the g502. getting the basilisk because it is wireless. I love my g502 ergonomics. fits my hand like a glove. I been looking into getting a wireless mouse. so this basilisk should work.
TF THAT'S THE LOGITECH G502!?!
Hyperscroll on G502 is too good! Actually made me go back to the G502 from G Pro Wireless. So now I'm getting the G502 Lightspeed. Also the overall shape is so much better than the ambidexterous shape on the G Pro!
As a logitech mouse user, I'm offended lmfao
Zuroh nice
Honestly, the best pan mouse right now would be the Logitech mx master 3S, only it has scrolling problems... you scroll and sometimes it freezes, you scroll scroll and the page sometimes remains blocked. There are many clips on the Internet with this problem. Otherwise, it is very qualitative, silent, and has no rubber on the wheels
It's against my religion to buy anything with a micro-USB port.
What if i say that the micro usb doesn't exist and thus the way you can charge is with the dock?
@@not920 well it's better to buy the dock, imo it is worth it when you consider it competes the ever so famous Logitech g502
@@not920 powerplay is one whole new extra set which is more than 100 dollars for it right?
@@not920 well that's you, idk man Razer does random stuff and tbh i have a 502 wired soo doesn't matter to me
Get the G502 instead.
So basically a G502 without the extra easy to teach buttons to the left that's probably last a lot less cuz it's a Razer, nah, no thx.
I still using my Razer Mamba Elite 2012 and 7 yers later now in 2019 still very good. Also I like heavy mice so the battery is in the mouse and total weight is 143g. I like heavy mices with high DPI and when I play games I almost don't move my hand, only the wrist to the left and right a few centimeters.
Do you want a G502 with less buttons for the same price? Me neither!
And with worse drivers!
i bought my g502 for $50
"good for productivity and many people will love this for gaming to" he says lol
this is 100% designed to be a gaming mouse
just because it is a few grams heavier doesnt mean its not a gaming mouse... many people prefer heavier mice..
this bios lol
Razer is just murdering Logitech left and right jeez! First with the Viper Wireless now this lmao
I am using the Logitech G102 Prodigy at 83g (2.9ounces)(weight is given without cable).
Dmitri: “The Logitech killer”
Me: “yeah, also a wallet killer”
Brokeboi killer
I’m honestly having trouble deciding if I want to send my viper ultimate back for a basilisk ultimate (I had a g602 before)
Oh jeez..... razer.... can’t beat them.... copy them....
cant beat them? LMAO
same i have tried to switch to other mice but that hyperscroll always had me come back to my g502 even at 126g but i do use a different mouse for FPS games a no name gaming mouse of amazon that i moded with a 3310 sensor and it only weighs in at 46g with the cable.
That's a blatant ripoff of Logitech's design lol
Copyright war incoming!!!!
Im switching from g502 to this. Although I love the g502 it started double clicking. My friend bought a g502 which also started double clicking. So I decided to make the switch to Razer.
Do you now have this mouse and if so, what do you think? I have just ordered the G502 LIGHTSPEED and need another mouse. I really want that extra side button for voice while gaming.
4:32 Ever thought of making another channel and doing tech ASMR videos?
It's in the works!
looking to dump my double clicking POS g903, how does this one being reviewed compare, does it have any poor build quality issues similar to the logitech mice?
I'm about to get one too bud, I'm on my 2nd Logitech mouse that's double clicking. The switches are rated for 70 to 80 Million Clicks on the basilisk vs 50 million on regular mechanical, but no way I got near that on my first Logitech considering it lasted maybe 6 months, now the g502 lasted a year 1/2 so who knows. I wish I knew how to replace the switches myself then I'd prob stick with the g502. The g502 is still under warranty but I think I'm going to send it in and use it on the other computer as it's using a cheap junk wired mouse.
@@nyveh3053 I got the Basilisk ultimate and just after I did I came to realize their click switches are optical, if this is not the ultimate double click medicine i don't know what is, so far I'm in love with the mouse and want to get an identical 2nd one for my household, or alternatively one of the same razer family with the same optical switches, if the Basilisk Ultimate continues to work like this then I can fully endorse it lmao I'm buying a 2nd one and that says a lot
@@Xanthegreat4 I just ordered mine off Amazon it will be at my house friday. I'm still gonna get the logitech fixed since it's under warranty and can use it on the other PC. Never understand why Logitech makes a premium mouse with the cheapest switches they can get.
@@nyveh3053 Good purchase
About Logitech, They thought they'd get away with it and they are for the most part
The store I got my g903 from gave a full refund and I intend to buy that 2nd basilisk ultimate, I advise you do the same is you can, there's stories of people on their 5th LT Mouse, I personally would not risk it, but if you go down that road I wish you the best of lucks.
Best regards.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love the RDE2 ending
*RDR2
Love my G502 hero and won't get rid of it for nothing else
Waiting for Logitech to sue Razer
Yes!!!!
I know theres a lot of hate in the comments right now, BUT, my g502 lightspeed is giving me quite a few problems with actuation point. When I go to ads in cod sometimes it will release the ads without me releasing the right click button. Sooo annoying. So this might be an alternative option...
They basically took the G502 and put a razer logo on it 😂🤦♂️
Viper ultimate vs basilisk ultimate which one is better for FPS games (hardcore gamer)?
"ligthspeed" lamofa
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this is a G502 with a Razer logo.
Microusb in 2019?nah!
why is my Charging dock not turning on/charging my mice? Its plugged into my computer usb already?
$150 and still using microUSB!! PASS!!!!
Just bought this mouse recently even though my main complaint was that it's way too light and isn't adjustable with additional weights. But I got tired of replacing my Logitech mice once a year or two after they start braking.
what do you mean you can literraly repair yourself the g502 wired version didnt try on the wireless one
