The samsho intensity is real! At the end of a close match I have to unclench my asscheeks.
The title made a slight error; it should state the fact that Aroo started off the set with Ukyo.
Cool to see Genjuro and Yoshitora, two characters that we don't see very often.

They need to make everyone able to throw into super. It’s such an advantage since opponents tend to go on the defense when they see you have it
Nah, some variety in tool usage is necessary to keep character variety intact. However, when characters clearly just don't stack up, some buffs are in order. I just don't think everyone should be able to get the same rewards from the same situations, make sure they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
Kids these days are so used to rinse repeat huge ass combos, mixups and setups they can't appreciate taking a breath, and giving a thought as to what your opponent is actually going to do before hitting a button. Samurai Shodown is great, though it needs better balancing.
Kids these days? FG had those all the way back in the 90s man. Not dissing samsho or anything, but some ppl prefer spectacle combo, wavedashing across the map, etc and some prefer playing samsho
I never said there wasn't those things before, I said kids these days are used to only playing this style of FGs.

Trust me most of the players who enjoy combo fighting games are mostly 20-35 like you. Don' call on kids as they don't even know how to play them lol.
I play fighting games for more than 2 decades now and I find SamSho absolutely dumb. It is fun but I cannot take it seriously. Also you're absolutely wrong on the "taking a breath"-part. The game is all about guesses and reads and whoever reads faster wins. So speeding up the game is the key to win for any good SamSho player. Not waiting and giving your opponent time to think.

this game looks sooo good its like a chess with a lot of mind games although im an mk player i might try this game out but how is the online is it laggy ? and is there a lot of players or the search will take too long

I dont have lag issues or issues finding players
SS over MK any day. Don't get me wrong, I played MK since the beginning but SS has so much more soul.
it's nice seeing my 4 years old message gets replied to haha, after playing MK1 on pc i gotta say that it's the worst FG I played in a while, holy moly the port is so baaad. Black screen/ unfinished content/ some characters feels like they were rushed / kameos are very meta defining / very laggy even when playing with people from the same region (talking about 200+ ping) / no content/ very grindy to unlock some brutatlities unlike MK11/ Bad practice interface/ can't search for opponents while practicing (even tho that was always the case with MK but come on it's 2023) in general im very unsatisfied with how it is which is sad since i love the gameplay and the IP in general@@explosivehotdogs

What a load that Genjuro player lands "one" big move after being punished all round and Aroo makes one mishap giving that guy the round. Jonah was beaten if not for that....

Ukyo has gotten weak... He no longer has his sliding slice, his apple slicing move... they nerfed him.
Ukyo still has them, this player just isn't using them.
He still has those moves bro, relax.
Ukyo us still strong. His strength relies in finesse and precision timing which requires you to know exactly the other opponent's timings.
Playing him properly as always on defense is the mark of a true master. There's a dead give away about the intent due to his stance.

Granted this game is probably intense as fuck to play, but as someone who knows nothing about this game, it is just soooo boring to watch. Need to get it so I actually understand what I am seeing. Hard to recognize skill when you dont know what skills are even being applied on screen. But with so much damage on the line, I bet you are constantly on edge to not mess up.
