    4:17 I love seeing this kind of shit in fighting games, just spacing and looking for an opening

      snair Dbfz was my first fighting game, while I love the rush and speed of the game, I started to pick up mk11 and then samsho. It is very refreshing to see and play more calculated chess-based games.

      Agreed. It’s honestly my favorite part of fighting games.

      Jambon De Pays yea. I personally love and appreciate both, playing piano myself (I love learning sheet music btw: especially jazz) I love doing combos, but I ENTIRELY understand where you are coming from. When I win in Samsho and Mk11 i feel like I 100% beat them mentally vs in Fighterz (i am pretty high rank) I feel like I have better technical/physical knowledge as I beat them with combo damage or pressure. I completely agree that these “slower” games are a total fresh breath of air

      @@tendaiball5598 i was super saiyan/android on DBFZ, not very high rank I know, and I know i could have won these fights quite easily if my execution was better and I didn't keep dropping the combos, but god did I hate winning the neutral constantly but losing because my opponent had a touch of death 2 assists 3 supers combo that just deleted my characters the instant they got caught. I know that at higher rank the neutral is more prevalent (and again, that i would have won if i didn't drop my combos), but i'm just not motivated to get here because I don't have fun practicing combos. It's a shame, because the neutral in that game is super fun and high-paced. When I play with friends we made a rule not to use assists during combos, and it just makes the game a lot more fun for us, assists become another neutral tool instead of a combo extender. And I know, that's how they use assists at high level and there's an interesting game of "should i use my assist during this combo for more damage and meter or keep it for the neutral", but again, that's at high level play, and I don't have the courage to sift through the ranks filled with people who only practice touch of death combos, and I don't enjoy practicing my own combos, I'd rather practice my etudes on the guitar if i'm gonna do repetitive execution exercises lol

    I swear to god, half the time I open these videos the gang is going off about the MTG economy or which planeswalker has beef with whom, I love it

    Man. I love this game. Throwback and still innovative. Strikingly different from MK and SF without being gimmicky. Y'all are killin' it with these tourneys. Much love from New Orleans.

    Genjuro should only be played aggressively. Once one has mastered his offense it's really hard to beat.

    Ukyo is the fastest one. But you do not run..He has very fast sword skills too!! But you do not use them. Speedy moves and skills make you win.

    • @FairlyUnknown
      @FairlyUnknown Před 5 lety +16

      Your attitude is what's wrong with the fighting game community currently. The game hasn't even been out a MONTH yet and people are complaining "balance this, balance that" How about you wait a few months until people actually know how to professionally play the game and then say things need a balance? Stop having knee-jerk reactions.

      You have NO idea. Checked out Mk11 lately? Didn't know it could be so worth the toxicity with whose in the game right and there are mirror matches WINNERS FINALS with Jacqui. Not to diss franchise, but that is just for starters.
