Thank you for your nice film about your trip to England. On your way back we see Würzburg with its castle. I only live 100 kilometres away from this town. Have a good time with your truck on European roads.
So many people underestimate the amazing skills of truck drivers. I rate them all highly, as without them, those people who moan about getting stuck behind them on the roads, are those who depend on these people to deliver their Internet purchases and food shopping.
Awww you lucky duck. Half of the roads in the northwest you can go as fast as you would like. Beside on the mountains. I went to Yellowstone park and we stayed at big sky in Montana. Whipped everywhere
Great video hope you enjoyed what you saw of England I'm 16 and hoping to become an international truck driver own my own truck and what a great looking scania you have
Yeah, I lived in England for five years. "Sunny" means one hole in the clouds, "Rain" means "a bit misty, yea?", "Snow" means ten flakes that melt when they hit the ground - a national emergency which I saw once in five years; "Boiling" means 25C, 70% humidity - "Freezing" means 12C. "Drought" means the two holes in the clouds and no mist for at least three days. "Monsoon" means a day where it's actually misty enough to need to open your brollie, lol.
very nice video dear friends i worked in a truck company and i like the trucks. Best regards from colima, mexico i hope a some day will drive in yours routes.
Now I know why your trucks are so much smaller then, American trucks. I wouldn't want to maneuver in the UK with my truck, its total length is 75 feet. Great video!
They're road names. The M20 is the motorway from Dover (where he was) to the M25, which is the ringroad around London. The road markings are to show which lane you should be in if you want to take that road.
That was a very narrow exit.. I did ok first time I rode motorbike abroad years ago... coming back through Calais to use the tunnel it was very well signposted and when I made a tiny error in direction to catch train I realised right away and corrected it.. As usual the minute I returned to Blighty the heavens opened up..
I suppose ergo, the roads are bigger, and can easily accommodate the larger trucks. Our Interstate Highway System had been predetermined with military application as its primary function, then commercial. The trucks have gotten bigger over the years to better appease the requirements of the long hauler, who stays out for months at a time.
My units has a wheel base of 711 centimeters trailers are 16.2 meters long and 259 centimeters wide. The average length is between 19.2 and 22.9 meters without having to get spacial permits.
Never eat fish and chips on a P&O ferry! It made me turn my stomach inside out. Probably the engine oil circulation sytem is connected with the deep frier in the kitchen!
" Typical english weather " lol. Typical English weather will be sunny one day, rain the next, snow after that, then be boiling again and to top it all of we'll go into drought whilst a months worth of rain falls in one day. Welcome to good old England.
nie jest tak źle jak wygląda na ujęciach. Dwa miechy temu pierwszy raz jechałem, a teraz już jak do siebie. Gładko i prosto na radiu zawsze Polacy pomogą jest ich tam codziennie całe mnóstwo.

If you think this is bad you haven't driven a truck. I have over twenty years experience on artics driving on roads in the UK you wouldn't believe possible for a semi as you guys like to call them.
Yep i just checked P&O ferry fleet and it's one of their older tubs! I use DFDS and theirs are more modern and luxurious than P&O. The food is over priced crap tho!! It's better to starve!
how much of that though is your unit? trailers are basically the same length 13.6 metres although we have a new one coming out which is 15.65 metres tri axle rear steer

That's some crazy roadways! I'll stick with the roads right here in the northwestern United States.

To fit more pallets and other things on I guess... their cabs are longer than European ones though, to give more living space.
Wow, you can really tell this is an old video.... no katastrof or migrants at Calais lol!
I love to go the the UK..
Nice video..*****
When I come up that hill from Dover, I'm usually empty, so I can fly past all the heavy trucks plodding up there. Hehe.
rememeber the last time i was here, good memories, nice video man
@defiant18 Looks like a normal ferry. Around here cruise-ferries can take up to 60 busses or trucks, or 450 passenger cars.
Well done. Good job.

8:53...traffic jam? That would be a very good day to us.
You seemed to spend most of your holiday trying to get out of the ferryport at Dover. I'm terribly sorry about that.
Remember to drive on the left. Some of you forget!
you drive better than the local truckers

Transport boxes are standard size, so they can switch from lorry to train to ship. So why are American trucks bigger?
If you think this is bad you haven't driven a truck. I have over twenty years experience on artics driving on roads in the UK you wouldn't believe possible for a semi as you guys like to call them.
2:10 : I notice there are tie points welded to the floor at the sides of this gate. Do they actually put trucks there during the crossing?
@BlackOpsFilm nice
must be one of them trucks that pass you at over 70 but have 55 on the back :)
Man i miss being on the road...
Blimey....this must have been shot back in the 70's/early 80's as that type of Ferry hasn't existed in years!
Yep i just checked P&O ferry fleet and it's one of their older tubs! I use DFDS and theirs are more modern and luxurious than P&O. The food is over priced crap tho!! It's better to starve!
