There was a thing on tonight about a kids murder in Nottingham caused by Diss tracks. Two kids had run from about 7 and the 7 shouted after them "The athletes"... well that was on the Diss track with guys pretending to run. It was a bit funny, actually. 🙂

It was seen as a particularly sad moment and the death of a well liked character so it's almost like saying "Oh, yeah, I laughed when Bambi's mother died."

**Correction re firearms in the UK (excluding NI)**
They are not outlawed, they are heavily regulated; and the penalties for unlawful possession are significant - a strong deterrent for most. So long as you obtain the relevant license(s) to possess a firearm you can legally own them. A section 1 firearms license will authorise the holder to possess anything from an AR-15 to a fixed-stock glock 17; the fixed stock (attached to the grip) is to meet the minimum length requirement for all firearms set out in law. It is a common misconception that firearms are banned. They are just heavily regulated and ownership warrants a valid justification / purpose for possession - such as work, sport and /or hobby.
The latter must be proven with consistent membership / participation in a shooting club and their activities / events. You can’t just sign up and then apply for a firearms license; you must have a continual history of participation and involvement in shooting sport.
The UK equivalent of the NRA is the BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation).

Fun fact, one of the local farmers and skip hire bloke got raided by a gang of Scousers (we're only 20 miles from Liverpool) they killed his dog, tried to drown the guy in his toilet then tied him up and poured boiling water over his genitals. They managed to get away with about 10 guns and a shitload of cash. Poor bloke never recovered. We've set our elderly neighbour farmer with CCTV, alarms and a guard dog.

I live in Canada. Years ago a friend found a phone. Went through it to try find someone to call to get it back to the owner and being nosy they did look at the photos. No one would return any calls that were made to contact the owner.
Hundreds of images of rolls of cash, automatic rifles, boxes of Nike shoes, young kids posing guns, boxes of bullets etc. Took the phone to the police station to give it to the cops so maybe they could use it to help in stopping the gang violence in the area. Cops at the front desk just laughed and said "So what. They could be toy guns. What are we supposed to do with it." Couldn't care less.

Maybe they laughed it off but did they keep it? If it turned out to be important the police took credit for finding it. Ask me how I know. 😂
