Battlefield Vietnam introduced vehicles playing music one of my favorites was driving around the map for the last couple tickets of players hiding playing **Nowhere to run to baby**
I remember when Battlefield Vietnam released on PC that you could play music on the in-game radios like CCR and Jefferson Airplane, and other artists of the era. I always played Engineer and while I was throwing myself out onto a bridge from my Jeep to defuse landmines so we could cross, a bunch of enemy infantry started to come out of the brush and open fire and I scrambled back to the other side of the bridge after removing the mines and then two Patton tanks and a Cobra Gunship came swooping in and someone was playing "Somebody to Love" as they came in and lay waste to the opposition That was a pretty cool moment, wish I had gotten it on video back in 2004
It would be awesome to watch this animated. Like the plane kills the base turns to look at your small squad and you guys look out and the pilot waves then continues its spree
My best such moment happened whilst playing with a buddy years and years ago DCX, a mod for Battlefield 1942. We were on El-Alamein, holding off the Iraqis, just barely at the Eastern Outpost. We could see an entire T-72 collumn coming over the pass in the west and we were like, brother, this is it. The tanks came straight at us, supported by a lot of infantry, even a pair of IFVs, and just as we were running out of ammo, the bot flown Specter Gunship flew overhead like an avenging angel, creampying the entire formation, we were both hollering like animals. Once in a lfietime gaming moment.
