As far as why I'm the only one, I'm not sure. Maybe because Jordan doesn't advertise his channel membership much. I just joined cause I wanted to. I mean, it's cool. You get the cool badge and access to the discord. Maybe people just aren't comfortable paying $5 a month. Which is fine. But it'd be cool if more people joined! Lol

@@SwagJaws Yep, that's exactly what happened. I made this on OptiFine with gamma settings to max, beginner mistake. As soon as I got feedback regarding this, I fixed this in 1.1 and uploaded to minecraftmaps, and it's been a few days without them accepting it 🤷

Considering how influential Captainsparklez is in the Minecraft world he does deserve a special skin. So do all of the creators who have pushed Minecraft to the top before CZcams killed them and hid there content from the trending tab and recommendations.
Remember when trending was just what was actually trending, rather than what CZcams chooses to be trending? Good times.
Hey, since that's a great comment that deserves more recognition I think you would like if it got some more attention. Therefore I am replying to say I definitely agree with you, like he's been here basically from the start of Minecraft, all the time even when it lost a good amount of popularity, so his Creeper Aw Man meme kinds influenced the return of Minecraft's popularity today with Dream and speedruns and stuff, don't you agree?

fun fact about my mc life: my 7yo singleplayer world I've kept only because i saw several pink sheep spawns. And several I mean about 6-7 packs of them. I thought "this is 1 in a million so I'm going to keep it". 7 years later I have multiple bases and currently working towards my 3rd set of netherrite armor.
The map creator did a mistake. The "wololo" is from Age of Empires I, not II. The priests in AoE2 doesn't say "wololo". They use more ecclesiastical sounds.

I actually remember I started watching you back when hunger games was at least every other episode, or at least felt that way. That, to this day, is still my favorite Minecraft content on CZcams, watching you play hunger games. It was very entertaining and even motivated me to try it for myself with a friend. I would love to see you revisit hunger games
The deadmau5 Easter egg is still around. I know this because the co owner of a server I play on trolled everyone on April fools by giving everyone deadmau5 ears

Hi Capt. Sparklez :) On the HermitCraft server here in season 6...... Cub and Scar has an Evoker a few steps inside their Con Corp. area..... It's a kind of security pass to enter the area..... and you are only allowed to enter, if you are able to change the color of the sheep. hehe :)

Fun fact. Actually, the End Crystal actually does have an easter egg in the texture file! If you take the odd shapes apart of the texture and look closely, it'll spell out the word "mojang"

As a Zelda fan I don't see how catching a boot is a direct reference. It only happens in one game while many other media have done it first..
Good point; while it might not be a direct/exclusive reference to Zelda, I still figured I'd put it so as that's how it was in my source and also I didn't spend too much time researching each and every one of them because that would take more than building the actual map lol
legit tho... being in the Minecraft community all of its life, and knowing 80% ish of these answers makes me think my parents were right when they told me I was addicted XD looking back with no regrets though lol I have loved the game since day one, I'm in college now and still love it. Agreed :) I love the days back when the game was just lifeful with all the enjoyable things like these Easter eggs. I'm 17 now and will start attending university next year, but I'm still happy to make this map and see all the people enjoy it as well

Here's a fun piece of information for you about that commander keen reference. ID software confirmed that commander keen is the descendant of the main character of wolfenstein and the ancestor of the doom guy.

Map creator is wrong, Klingon is available to use as a language. It comes up as "tlhIngan Hol" in the language menu.

Once in trying to get a brown sheep before we could dye them i spawned a pink sheep flipped out and built a shrine to him. I finally know how that happened now.

Wow Capt. Sparkles no joke I actually have the redstone torch just to prove you can turn the light of it on with a mini switch on it and it has 2 outlits/usb spots on it.
There's vertain plugins with which you can "play" an image. Harmor (FLS vst) for example.

Where is this legend of zelda boots thing coming from? Fishing up boots is an old trope of media and many games, cartoons, comics, literature and fairy tales have had this for far longer than even video games were a thing. To say that it's a zelda easter egg is kind of rediculous. Zelda uses an established trope so every game after that does the same is referencing Zelda? The Zeld fandom is really dense sometimes.
That last texture one is confusing. The minecart has a bottom brownish layer that would rise upwards back when they were slated to be used to carry stuff. To my knowledge it's still there.

the wololo conversion sound was only used in Age of Empires 1 and I believe the beta of Age of Empires 2. The official sound for conversion in the official released version is different, and sadly, a lot less hilarious. In AOE 2 it is more of a "whooaahh" sound with echo.
