Stone slabs are found naturally inside of strongholds in certain formations such as the bridge going over a door formation, the bridge is made of stone slabs. Edit: also carpet is found naturally inside of igloos.
Blacksmith hut in villages too the little table and the rim around the roof are stone slabs
Actually, you can only find red carpet inside of igloos. Orange carpet is not a naturally spawning block.

Actually thought the anvil was the answer, because you can store things in the hopper (items) and in the cauldron (water) but you can't store anything in the anvil.

I thought it was the hopper, due to the fact that hoppers don't affect armor. Anvils are used to repair armor, and in Bedrock and Windows 10, Cauldrons are used to dye leather armor

These types of maps don't make sense. It's not really the "odd one out" if you can find few different ways.
It's more like "Find the way that, this person thought of"
3 blocks and the bed. The bed isn't a block, but one of the blocks is green instead of yellow like the others. The bed is the only one with a pillow. etc.

This map wasnt really fair because there could be multiple reasons that other options work so you really just have to be lucky

This isn't an odd one out map!
It's a guess the random link the creator made between the blocks/items map.
There's far too many viable solutions to the questions to have it not essentially be a guessing game.
Also it's just the creators idea of how things work and some are wrong and not researched 'requires water to grow' one is just straight up wrong, wheat/carrots just grow a little faster with water and definitely don't need it. And how endstone does have a function, being the only block you can grow chorus trees on.

yeah, i gotta agree with jardon here. either the map creator made a mistake or he didn't design it that well, because you can't really pull the "multiple connection points" thing because it's a spot the difference and not an odd 1 out.

The repeater has to be toggled on the ground once in order to be in the position he had it in. The wood had to be stripped in order to become stripped wood.
That's nonsense, you can't be that excited. If the riddle has multiple answers, it is not a riddle. Actually, choosing randomly would have been better, in term of right answers.

That end portion where the creator talked about how long they've been watching is wild to me. Made me think about how long ive been watching Captain for, ive been here since the OG survival games and thats bonkers to me. I got into minecraft by watching the yogscast Shadow of israphel, not long after that i started watching Sparklez and never really stopped. I watched through hunger games, mianite season 1 & 2, trinity island, troll craft, pixelmon, the reddit videos, and now. Crazy to think about how long Sparkelz has been with me.

With the ned, clock, compass, and totem, three of them have to do with spawning: The compass leads you to spawn, the totem respawns you where you are, and the bed sets your spawn, but the clock just tells time.
The stripped log, repeated and kelp one both the log and repeater had been interacted with once. The log was striped and the repeater was set to 2 ticks

Also, the redstone lamp is the only thing in the list that can not take up 2 blocks of space. The others (Door, Bed, Piston) could take up 2 blocks of space.
For the compass-bed-clock-totem one, I thought it'd be the clock because it's the only one that doesn't have anything to do with spawning/respawning

There is also a Minecraft animation called 'Gold'.
The one with the repeater and stripped wood was saying it could only reach those states when on the ground. Wood can only become stripped when on the ground, and the repeater was in its second position, which it can only be put into when on the ground.
I love how I grew up on Minecraft and I can still see it kicking on the internet.

For anyone who might be curious, yes you can find stone slabs naturally in the world. They're used as a border on the roof of a blacksmith's building in testificate villages.
For the stripped log and repeater one, the repeater was on two ticks, which makes it necessary to be interacted with in order to get it.

At 6:15 it could’ve also been the clock because the other three relate to spawning/respawning the totem stops you from dying the bed is a spawn point and the compass faces to your / world spawn

19:00 he means that the block have to be placed to be interacted with. You can't change ticks on a repeater unless it's placed and you can't strip wood unless it's placed either
I thought the sea pickle too. Lots of reasons to pick the pickle over the end rod and torch; Particles, several water reasons, and torch and end rod have the same light level while 1 sea pickle has a lot lower.
