Something about that Naut game with the loud bombastic music as you race across a landscape with a revving engine and thunder and lightning is really captivating
I found Critters for Sale on Itch.io, and the whole time while I was playing it I was just thinking how I just had to send it to Vinny. I was far too late.

That marble game looks like it handles similar to when you're trying to maneuver out of bounds through a part of a level you don't want to play but the invisible walls keep getting you.

Seeing vinny get genuine goosebumps from a games soundtrack is oddly what made this stream for me. I wish there was a compilation for that, I guess its a bit too specific tho

Critters for Sale looks really cool, I love the look, atmosphere, and visual effects. However I think the story could/should have much more. There seems to be something potentially really interesting and epic going on with this weird time traveling and Noid Men and Council and such, but you hardly get any information about it, so maybe it was just because Vinny didn't see everything or maybe the story will be expanded in the full game? Also, why Michael Jackson and the statue of David and all that stuff? It's really weird and seems kinda random, though I don't think it's necessarily bad because it adds to the neat trippiness.

Oh yeah, MAYBE they're gonna put more story in the unfinished story-focused game. They might not though, who knows?

Now, I came for the treasures.
I stayed for the piss.
I see Mario pissing in the thumbnail, I click.
This just makes me think of Lateralus.
I still feel like people downplay MM because it’s rather simplistic in its design structure wise (only going to four dungeons). But the 70%, consisting of sidequests, is where it’s at (all being individual and unique on their own). And look, I get it, OoT is great, it was probably your childhood, it grabbed me too (especially the dungeons). But I feel so many people would rather beat the game than completing it (I personally didn’t feel like getting every item in that game and I was still missing a ton of things that felt like they had no value). Whole MM feels like a full experience if you go out of your way to play more and get to know each characters backstory, schedule, and problem in the land of Termina. I do find two of the dungeons in MM to be complete ass (well, 1 and 1/2). But in comparison to OoT, it has the most innovation AND a story that wasn’t influenced by another game in the series (OoT and LttP are mostly the same structure wise. And it feels incredibly bland). OoT’s story in the subtext is great, but I would rather I see that for myself when I’m traveling through the world, which I don’t think OoT does well. There’s not that much that changes visually when you change time, and I feel like times use in the game is incredibly simplistic (Cronotrigger does it way better, if only a little bit more linear). But hey, OoT is great, and I respect other people’s opinion if they don’t think whatever I said is true.
