No one takes you with them better than Gabriel. No ego, no sense of entitlement, no complaining. Love his random walks around streets, beaches, town squares, forests, seeing things in his own time. Best vlogger on You Tube.
Occasional complaining, I'll confess. ;)
And he's respectful of other people and their cultures unlike some other you tubers I can think of.
@@ChristianParkesArt Exactly. Respecting ways of life, beliefs, customs.

Croatia looks like it could possibly be ma favorite country on the continent.
It's definitely moved way up my list on this trip.
I am also planning to invest here. A great place ideally located. If you need infos, let me know
I'm thinking the same chris, I haven't been yet. But I'll be in mlini in September, can't wait.
Dont worry about sharks, there isn't one.
@@dillon84 You will enjoy Mlini, not many people know for the place but it's beautiful my grandmother has a house there. Greetings from Dubrovnik :)
What a beautiful place! The combination of sea and mountain has something else.
Thanks man for doing such a good promotion of my country. Regards from Dubrovnik (King's Landing)...
As Gabriel forgot to mention, the concert at the end was held by former ex-yugo star Zeljko Bebek, celebrating the 5th of August, Croatia's day of Independence!
Greetings from Split
@Josip my bad
Been a while since I came to your channel, you've definitely jumped up a few levels in the production quality my dude. Good stuff.
Right on, glad to hear it.
Best comment!!! We noticed the quality upgrade. The footage, music and editing... is he going for an award? 🏆 if so we hope and pray 🙏 he wins!!!
When I visited Makarska quite a long time ago I was amazed at the beaches made of very white smooth pebbles -I have not seen this anywhere else.
I recommend going up that mountain, Biokovo. You’ll have the best view and meet wild horses on the way up 😍
One Pole headed to Biokovo eight days ago and disappeared, the daily search of the mountain rescue service has not yet yielded results.
There is a road that leads up to the top. If you go by car and stay on that road, it’s fine. But yes, just walking up there by yourself would be really dangerous, especially in this heat.
Oh? This is terrible. Hope he’ll be found safe and sound 🤞
Yes, mountain is very dangers i'm suggesting organized visit for all of you planing to go up there. I'm from there region and wish to all of you to stay safe please. Gabriel wish you pleasant stay in Croatia god bless you! Keep up with awesome videos did subscribe to channel will follow you moves around the globe. 👍👋 😀 😉 🍺🍺
Cannot wait to start travelling again... It's been way too long...
After watching this video, I can honestly say your editing gets better and better!
Me too!
You can go to Croatia
loved the scene with the clouds when it was about to rain .. awesome scenery too
Hey Gabriel, was so nice to meet you there. What a surprise to recognise you while searching for your apartment 😂👍 Nice guy and nice conversations (the two of Germany, Zorana and Cherif). Let us know if you're still in Makarska! Nice summary of the beautiful Makarska. Take care Mr Traveler.
Right on, great to meet you guys as well, enjoy the rest of the summer. Happy travels.
You must go tomorow to Sinj to see Sinjska alka! That’s a 300 hundred years old tradition with horses and knights!
Where is that by?
@@minniemu City Sinj, about 80 km from Makarska or from Split 35 km
Croatian music I just don't know ... Your double mackerel lunch - what presentation. I guess I've been watching so many Croatian videos lately, I decided to wear one of my Croatian National Team soccer jerseys (cuz they were the World Cup runner's up last time & we sooo wanted them to win) while biking around NYC yesterday. And 3 different times, including once going over the Brooklyn Bridge, it must have been Croatian expats who did the same cheer like "Oh Oh!" We love Croatia.
Lol, that didn't sound Croatian to me and I'm from Croatia. I think that's a Bosnian singer. Regardless, that sounded awful.
Speaking of soccer or as we call it football, I found guys in a Thailand jungle (not one of the touristy spots for sure) with Croatian national team jerseys and one had a Croatian Football Association tattoo as well.
It was cute but ironically, we can't stand the football association as it's corrupt af! :)
Dominik Mance That was Željko Bebek whit some new songs and some old songs when he was in group Belo Dugme. You must be young otherwise you would know. One of legend groups in ex Yugoslavia
@@rosieg3423 Oh, I heard about Bijelo Dugme but then I was right - they are from Bosnia. Never liked them but that's a matter of taste.
When it comes to ex yu music, I prefer Azra, Haustor, EKV...etc.
Great journey! I think you'd really like the northern coastal half of Croatia.. check Sibenik, Zadar and Istria peninsula..and 100% Plitivice national park!
Omg...Plitvice is like something out of The Lord of The Rings! Beautiful!
oops, Gabriel has already been to Zadar, so then explore Istria for sure!
Good take, together with the islands it's the best and finest that Croatia has to offer. Makarska is just like any other ugly, horrible and touristy Costa Del Sol clone.
I so enjoy your videos, you walk and talk and give me a tour & history of where you travel. you are one of the few vloggers that is still travelling. Thankyou for being out there
Gabriel, don't miss Ston and the longest walls in Europe.
Ston would be great. There should be a bus from Makarska, I would guess. Alternatively, Omiš or Klis would be a good filming spot.
You seem to be quite happy travelling in Croatia :)
I always hope for your videos to pop up in my feed, I wait till night when Ive grabbed a beer to drink while enjoying your travels. It is not that far from how I would do my travels personally and the balkans are an amazing place for the people and also as we all can see - nature.
What an amazing video! Loved every minute. I never thought of Croatia as a travel destination for myself. Now it's on the list of the places I MUST VISIT! Thanks to you Gabe. And happy travels!
You are looking super young dude. This life of travel is obviously good for you. Love the videos 😎👍
I love you, please kiss me

Gabriel, that restaurant 11:39 I would try "Punjene paprike". I think these are stuffed peppers. It looks like stuffed peppers from the picture. The peppers are usually stuffed with beef, rice & a little onions. It can be delicious when it is home cooked for 5 or 6 people. If it is mass production I am not sure how tasty it will be. Try it.
Sounds super tasty, I'll have to give it a try.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos punjene paprike are really tasty.
Wonderful video thx for posting that ,I love CROATIA ok.. Best regards from Canada .Thx . 👌💕🍁🍒🍸✌
Always love your interaction with other tourists and travellers. So amazing to see people's journeys in life and how they came to be where they are.
Gabriel, please try to visit a little island called Murter. It's just an hour or two from Makarska up north. You don't need a ferry, the island is so close to the mainland it has a connecting bridge. You'll love the nature and views. We use to go there in the 80's and it'd be great to see how it looks today. Thanks for great videos!
So beautiful seeing humans live life, not in fear of the flue, I am so proud of my fellow humans, love you all, GOD bless you Gabriel.
If you are still in Makarska i recomend you to visit Skywalk in nature park Biokovo, it will cost u 50 kuna but worth of visit ( if you are visiting with car, with bike its 12 kuna ). They letting people in, every 3 hours, starts in 11 am, next one 2 pm , 5 pm ...
My beautiful hometown. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Definitely. :)
We were in Croatia for a few weeks 4 years ago. We flew in and out of Split and went north to the Julian Alps. These videos make me want to go further south. I really liked the intro and music for this post. Thanks for the videos!
That man from North Carolina is
I would love to visit there! It looks so interesting and scenic. Very nice video Gabriel!
Wow this place is so beautifullll ilove it, beautifuuulll beach😍👍 thanks Gabe🙏
That water(Adriatic) is so insane! High salt content or something in the Mediterranean Sea water just made me feel like I was floating in the water. For some reason it seemed easier to swim in!
Hi Gabe,
Good quality....perfect camera...perfect spot!
Enjoy ☀️
I have been watching all of your recent Serbia and Croatia videos (and many before) and I really like Makarska, especially because you showed quite a bit of the town (although small). Croatia is as beautiful as I had thought. I'm like you -- I avoid the touristy beaches. Prefer the quiet coves. My 3-month trip this summer to Romania and the Balkans was canceled due to the virus. So, I am enjoying vicariously through your travels there now. Great job getting out there now. Travel safely!
Woww, you were planing Romania ??
Unbelievable..beautiful country...but take care, when you visit there !
@@michaelahass2695 I agree. I have been to Romania many times -- still can't get enough. Very beautiful, and I have friends there.
CROATIA i just call to say i love youuuuuu....
I love your pronounciation of the islands!
Thanks for continuing trekking! You are the vicarious traveler for so many of us right now. Still hoping to cross paths with you somewhere on the globe!
It's becoming habitual now for me to "thumb-up" the videos merely three minutes in!🤣
Yes!!! We agree. He has even stepped up his videograhy and we thought it was already perfect!
Wow what an opening!!!
Five 🌟⭐ 🌟⭐ 🌟!!!!
The music 🎶 😎
Your dive into the amazing crystal clear water ... aaahhhh refreshing
The beautiful incredible views of the Island... 🏆
The way you guide us to the most secluded private island paradise spots. The steady 📷 camera videography ...wow u are a vlogging PROFESSIONAL!!!
Loved the conversation w the gentleman and his family from the States. The church footage.....spectacular...have u considered sharing that footage w the travel industry of Crocia and with the church ??? They don't have anything as professional as you took.
The submarine tour looks fun. Can't wait to see the views 😍
Very beautiful 👍
Hi Gabriel, Interesting and very touristy locations I'm sure with the viewing of your videos more people will start making this a travel destination.
thank you Gabe. a part of the world - makarska , never heard of. very interesting. ~ JDS/CT
Crowded beach? You should seen how it was last year. Before Covid 19 shit. I recomend everyone to come in september. Best month to enjoy. It's not crowded, price are lower and temperature is beautiful.
If you do go to Zagreb eat at Rocket Burger. Best burger in all of Europe. Enjoying your videos of Croatia!
Amazing walking tour as usual 👌... Cheers...
A konoba is just a tavern, usually a family run place. This is where you will usually find the most reasonably priced and authentic dishes of Croatia.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make them. Stay safe.
Hi Gabe! I truly appreciate your work. ✅
we were there last year. I am so jealous, churches are open, no masks, so great.
good job gab---I really enjoy watching your videos w/o having to travel all over the world.
Beautiful Gabriel! Ty! Stay safe 😊❤🙏
💖😍💖😍💖😍💖😍 Croatia you're very beautiful 💖😍💖😍💖😍💖😍
Secrete coves are your specialty! 🏆 thank you for sharing your adventures with us. We are blessed 🙌
Beautiful dramatic place. No masks and social distancing in sight? Thanks for showing us.
Just got back from Makarska a couple of weeks ago. And now I feel nostalgic when watching your video. Thank you for such detailed and colorful video, I took a lot of photos, but they, of course, do not fully transfer that atmosphere. :)
Another great video Gabe. I like how the coast of Croatia has lots of pine trees around the beaches. This way you can find a natural shade, without using umbrella, if you don’t want to lay down on the sun the whole day. Much better than those sandy beaches where all you see is long stretches of sand and nothing else. No interesting little coves, no shade of the trees and no trails that connect various little swimming spots. Enjoy exploring the rest of what Croatia has to offer. Glad prices are more affordable on the cost.
Heaven.
And I was there at the same time.
Few days of iffy weather but did get better 😊
Great content Gabriel .!! Thanks for sharing.
Nice work Gabriel, I like how you just do what you want and like without pretension, thumbs up bro.
Hi Gabriel i recomande going to Omis it´s a nice old town near the sea

Very nice. I would like to go back, having visited Korcula from a cruise trip a couple of years ago when I was much taken by it, especially as we arrived early when bars etc were still getting set up for the day. The water was amazing with fish swimming by. A longer stay would be great once we can go places again. It is too soon as yet, unfortunately. A short break here in Scotland is the best we have managed and made us appreciate the beauty we have here. We might do more of that this summer.
Thanks Gabriel wonderful place... 👍👍👍
The intro with views from out of town were awesome.
Great intro ! And dude you knocked years off with the shave and haircut lol 😂 great vlog as always 👍
P.s. congratulations on topping 400k subscribers
Thanks.
Zagreb is actually very touristy during winter season ;)
Ljeti su Zagrepčani na moru.🤗
Loving Croatia!!! ☺🌏🍹
Thanks Gabriel :) I am travelling with you ... Cool videos.
Have you been to Nin, the oldest little town in Croatia, where Croatian kings were crowned? Amazingly cute little town without kon tiki stuff and stunning nature around. Lesser known road.
Nin is not the oldest town in Croatia.
Haven't been there, sounds interesting.
@superbura9 superbura9You're right, but I think you meant the Illyrians and the ancient Greeks? They are older than the Romans.
Hey Gabriel , fellow San Franciscan here . Love your videos man , keep up the great work !
Right on, thanks Pedro.
Great videos. I'm follower and really enjoy. The next station could be Omiš and river Cetina .It's not far away...good to exploring.
Keep watching ur travel videos, so awesome!
Good stuff, Thanks!
It was nice to meet you in Makarska☀️
Right on, you too. Have a good one.
Another great vlog Gabriel. Many thanks 👍
Headed to Makarska today for some sun and relaxation. A bit cold but still excited!
Sick video! Inspiration for my next venture. Peace!
If only the people you talk to knew how many pairs of shoes you have worn out in the last 30 years.
Again, nice one! Lovely country. #hrvatska
Amazing !
hi gabriel...love your videos ,,,was going to Croatia june had to cancel because of covid-19,,seeing your vlogs makes me more determined to get out there soon....
This makes me want to visit my mother's motherland again.
Gabriel, you are the man! You're doing and saying what I'd be doing and saying if I had been there. Just, I'm not there and probably will never be. :)
Hi Gabriel, I highly recommend for you to see Omiš. It's just 30 km from Makarska. Also, Kaštela if you prefer less crowded promenade and beaches.
No masks, no social distancing down there in Croatia. Looks like they've completely defeated Corona and life is back to normal.Great video Gabe
There is no normal
Amazing beautiful place, hope come visit island Barbados.

Meanwhile in Australia: Lockdowns 😭😭😭
Feel for you on that, the commies better settle down soon.
@@skiaddict08 If only, 12 months later the draconian government is still at it. The former communist Yugoslavia had more freedom than parts of Australia at present.
Szuper video,Makarska riviera beautiful is my favorite!
Bro thats a dope video. You should hop down south to Budva, Montenegro. Remember Budva? A totally packed, jammed with tourists? Well, at this point 14 - 07PM, it is totally empty. Like a total catastrophe, and I just heard on national news that theres 92% drop of tourist arrivals, reservations as of August the 10th. A total catastrophe...But hey, its gonna get better :)
That's sad to hear. I think there's been questionable news about Montenegro and whether it's possible to visit, so that's probably hurting the tourism industry a lot.
Amazing place
Thank you for representing Croatian beauties
You simply have to see Promajna with the most beautiful beaches in the world. Then Bashka Voda Brela should be must! Heaven on the Earth.
