  • Heres my thoughts on 3 different lights from Magicshine for trailrides at night. We have the MJ906s at 4500 lumens, the RN3000 at 3000 lumens, and the ALLTY 1000 at 1000 lumens.

Hey just to add the RN3000 is also a USBC to USBC battery charger if you have the double ends matching both phone & RN3000..👍🏽

Do you really notice the difference between the RN3000 and the Mj906s?
I mean light output? What would be your favorite combination?

I just set myself up with a MJ902s 3000L for my bars and the MJ900s 1500L for my helmet with an extra Battery, will be endless light on Medium... for mountain biking you only really need the full power on DH runs

You can use the RN3000 to charge other stuff 😉

RN 3000 in our area is equivalent in 70US$

Thanks for this, just in the market at the moment for some lights. Do you think the allty 1500 and RN3000 would do the job, or do you think a more powerful bar light would be preferable?

The Allty1000 has Better LED and is more efficient than the Allty1500.

Dave I think the 3000 is definitely adequate up front, but if you want booming daylight the monteer 6500 is levels above
