I got back into skyrim after 8 years hiatus and I'm grateful for the Serana Dialogue Addon and Seranaholic 1.8.
She feels so alive with 5,000 lines of dialogue. She would interact with you and sum up events in taverns and quest reactions that goes as early as the Claw and Dragon tablet quest in Riverwood!! Absolutely amazing.
Her character is very well written, with all her sincerity, insecurities, perspective, wonderment, flirt, reassurance, etc etc. She felt so alive.
God bless the mod author and his level of ambition. That mod took him 3 years - he deserves every Patreon subscribers and then some.
Thanks for putting this together! Do you personally find that some of the added dialogue from Add-On get's cringy when things drift to the romantic side? It's been one of the complaints I've read about with that particular mod
I have seen these complaints, but I have an older version of the mod (1.8.2 to be exact) which doesn't have many (if any) "cringy" lines . However, I have seen some clips of the newer, updated version of SDA and I do think the mod (especially in the newer versions) sometimes does cause her to break character as you mention. The mod author has acknowledged this and is giving updates to it to fix this. It is still a very high effort mod that adds a lot of depth nonetheless.

It's probably a unpopular opinion of mine but I really enjoyed the romance route taken by the Serana add-on mod, she has always been my favorite companion even with a vanilla playthrough and it kind of sucks that Bethesda dropped the ball and didn't make her a romanceable option in vanilla, plus it made me actually give a fuck about the marriage system is Skyrim which is Bland, pointless, and serves no purpose at all in other wise in the game. It also felt like a natural progression with both the player/ Serana if you choose to take the romance route.
I uninstalled it and went back to Dialogue Edit. The voice acting reminds of of bad porn acting. Its just awful.

the new voice actor's good but you just can't beat Laura Bailey. Is there a mod where they just take Laura Bailey's dialogue from other games where she sounds like Serana and just use those line as extra lines?

You should reduce the music volume or increase your voice's volume, barely can hear you
i prefer Serana re-imagined for apperance mods but Seranaholic is good too

Yea you can give her any armor you like to, as long as it has a higher armor rating than the one she already has she'll equip it
You can also give her the ring of disrobing, which strips her down to nearly naked
question how do you guys get the textures to work she just gets the black face whenever i use a texture mod
Black face mods can happen when there are two mods editing an NPC's face, check your load order. There are some vids out there, and even a serana black face fix mod out there that could potentially help you
@@ArrowsandRice ok cool hmm i went through my mods and she has her base face vanilla and whenever i put in any mod that alters her appearance it causes black face and her skin kina changes to like a smoother one like the mod partially works or somthing whats weird is that ive even put in the mod that clears black face know what happend ..? it removed black face but still her base face stll remained just with black face removed its driving me mad lol
@@smoothwiththegroove1 I just fixed the problem by disabling all mods which crashed my game. When I re-enabled all the mods it loaded correctly and the textures are there.

Sorry for the late reply, do you mean "total character makeover." I've never used that mod, but you could try loading Seranaholic after if it and it may work.

Your music is too loud and your voice audio is too low. You also didn't modulate the two. Redo your audio and actually listen to it.
