Just discovered this engine type. Seems like a 1st 2nd and 5th gear ratio. Sounds real good for its age.
Yes very interesting engine!
Third is usually 1:1, and is comparable to third or fourth on a five speed. On my 1951 Chevy, with a 4.11:1 differential, the engine was running at about 3600 RPM at 60. Overdrive wasn't offered as a regular option.
