Back in the early 60's I had one like this that was a dark brown. I wish I had the money, but more importantly, the time left to do something with this. Even with their small six cylinder engines these are really good daily drivers. I hope someone will buy this and do a complete restoration on it.
My father had a gray '50 Fleetline DeLuxe. He wanted a green one, but that's all the dealer had. Take it or leave it. If you don't want it, I'll call the next guy on my waiting list.
Yes, it is an original 216. It runs great. The 52 is Christina's car. There is a series of videos on our main channel, What The Rust, that review how we bought it, when we got it running, and the makeover of the interior and exterior. The 59 F100 is my daily driver. Although we lived in Los Angeles, she special-ordered it from the factory in Michigan, then when built and ready to take delivery, she took a train to pick it up and drove it back to LA. She drove it for almost 40 years before she passed.
