    I have had mine now for 5 weeks. Love it, no problems at all. Grinds very fine. I have only used it for hard white, and soft white wheat.

    I’m sorry for your husband’s diagnosis and pray he will draw close to the Lord for His grace. 🙏🏼 Thank you for your video. I got my Mockmill a month and a half ago and have been enjoying grinding my own wheat. I also bought a Compact Bosch mixer, and between the two appliances have been able to make all our bread now. Even hamburger buns. 😊 I feel it’s increasingly important for us to make as much of our own food as we can from scratch. Food manufacturers are in business to make a profit, not to help keep us healthy. Making our own bread, canning our own soups, etc., goes a long way toward restoring the health of our bodies. Thanks again for sharing this video. I’m going to subscribe! 🙂

      Thank you, Carol. I appreciate your kind words. I haven't tried making hamburger buns yet but it is on my list of things to do.

    The mockmill actually has 30 settings, and you can grind coarser using settings well past 10

      Thanks for the information. I had no idea that was possible. I'll have to figure out how to do that.

    My wife just ordered her Mockmill 100 today and is anxiously awaiting its arrival! I'm anxiously awaiting homemade bread again. The Country Living mill was good when I (and the kids) were younger, but now it's time to upgrade to another power tool in the kitchen.
    Thank you for the analytical demonstration. I just have one question. Did you re-mill the tailings from all of your mill settings trials? I saw demo videos that show you can do that - something not recommended with the Nutrimill.

      @curtdunlap6818 congratulations, i hope your wife enjoys it. Yes, when i was done, I combined it all and remilled it one last time, so all would be the same consistency.

    I’ve been making sourdough bread for years and using a Nutrimill. I just ordered the Mockmill as it looks a lot easier to use. I have pretty severe gluten sensitivity but if I make sourdough and let it sour for at least 24 hours I can tolerate the bread really well. No more cardboard gluten free bread for me once I discovered sourdough. So sorry to hear about your husband.

      Thank you for sharing your experience. I think you're really going to like the Mockmill, it is so easy to use and I've been very happy with it thus far. My goal this year is to start making sourdough bread. I'm really glad to hear you're able to tolerate homemade sourdough, it's so much better for you than that 'cardboard' store bought bread. Blessings

    I've started milling my own flour exclusively for all my flour needs. I use hard red and hard white wheat berries. I just bought a Mockmill 100 and am excited to try it! I loved your video. Do you happen to have a 100 percent whole wheat recipe that you like?

      That's wonderful and thank you for watching my video. I haven't found one yet that I'm super excited about, but when I do, I'll be sure to make a video to share it with you.

    Hi, love your video. Does your mill also work on dried chickpeas, nuts? Thank from SWFL, USA…,

    • @PennyPincherPantry
      @PennyPincherPantry  Před 8 měsíci

      It will do chickpeas, beans and different types of seeds. I'm not seeing nuts on the list, but it might work.

    Not understanding why you were having to sift and check what was left over to see what didn't get ground up into flour. How is this mill a good mill if it doesn't grind everything up the same on the setting you select? The sifting process seems laborious. Is this just the nature of a stone grain grinder?

    • @PennyPincherPantry
      @PennyPincherPantry  Před rokem +3

      Thank you for the question. The only reason I sifted the flour was to measure the result I was getting with each grind level. It is how I chose to test it out since it was my first time using it. Now that I know the results for each level, I know which setting to use based on what I want the end result to be. I currently don't sift the flour unless I want a very fine final result, otherwise the grind on the correct setting works. Blessings

    Is it very loud like hurting the ears?

    • @PennyPincherPantry
      @PennyPincherPantry  Před měsícem

      No, not at all. In my opinion my ninja blender is louder than the grain mill.
