Thanks for sharing. Easy instructions to follow with the necessary details. I installed mine’s today and went like charm, especially for the hairspray 😂, made it easy.
Did your bar end caps have a plastic fitting that threads as it goes in? Iv got the end caps but can’t believe you either have to hammer it in or thread it in. Any advice would be awesome!
Hey brother, great video, i have a 2019 Ducati Pentigale V-4, did you get the latest software update were the dash lights up yellow after 8k rpm and red towards redline? My bike had a warning ⚠️ light and the software update fixed it and the dash update was a bonus.
Hey Troy, I like the "Ducati by Rizoma"bar ends you have on the bike. I know they are specifically for the Panigale but I wanted to put them on my Monster 1200R. How are your bar ends installed? Rizoma adapter or OEM bushings? Is the inside of the handlebar hollow with 15mm diameter (like the Monster)? I know this is a bit off topic, but any help would be appreciated. (From anyone!)
@@retiredtk Thanks man. I watched that video and it helped. The gold bushing looks similar to the Monster one but not exactly. Is your bolt a 5mm allen?
For the throttle side, that little lip that the stock grip went over that you talked about after removing the stock grip. Does the new grip have to go over that little lip?
I've noticed the stock grips are as hard as a rock on mine and really start to hurt my hand after a while if I'm riding hard and doing a lot of heavy braking. Are these any squishier than the stock grips? They look great and I've used ProGrip grips before but no idea how these particular ones compare to stock.
Hey troy planning to install this on my 821 ...so wid research came to know tat pro grip 717 is good and looks better too..compared to domino ...may i know did u buy 717 duo density or jus 717
I have just got these and they are perfect for the R1. Some reason I got OEM grip from Yamaha and they suck. They have started producing grips that are hard

I always use Renthal grip glue when I install new grips. Slides prety easy and holds the grips where they shall be.
They look nice much better than stock

DirtyjerzHD if the new grips allow for that, yes.

Awesome, thanks man. Time to order me a set!
Suffered for a while till I explored the Ducati service center. Got these and they are amazing
Do you have a video of puting those carbon frame covers on...?
You didn't just say the passenger side on a bike did u. 🤔
Great vid (as always...). Thats the specific model of ProGrip you used ?

harshwardhan patil standard 717 grips. Love them
Troy Gleason thanks troy will install it soon👍hope its better than domino..
For those of you that don't have compressed air and dont want to cut them off, i used small amou t of dish soap and slid them off
how do they feel? did it help with vibration or would you go for a softer grip?
Best grips I’ve put on a bike. Though they do wear faster so be aware
Thanks mate! Just ordered one i bought the 719 can't get the 717 open ended
Hey Troy - what is the number on those grips - 717?
Sprocket Square yes
Thanks. Did you have to cut the ends off or did they fit out of the box?
Sprocket Square they fit right out of the box
You still recommend these grips? Want to put on my R1.

No mirrors?
Track bike usually they don’t allow mirrors
soft or hard?
Soft
Oh yeah.. just compressed air.. like everyone has..🙄
If you don’t have a little tank to fill your tires every time you ride, you should get one. Pressures are important.
Take a SKINNY screwdriver , push it under the end of the old grip , a quick squirt of brake clean and the grip will slide off 😎😎😄😄🍺🍺🍺
@@retiredtk do you have a recommended one to buy?
