After buying the cheapest and worst condition #bmw #x3m money I could buy I spent months trying to #rebuild this wrecked example and get it back on the road. But after all of the hard work we put into it making it as best we possibly could we had to put it through its paces and see how well we really did by putting it against some of the fastest cars in the world!

My 18yr olds just past his car test, wonder what the insurance would be on that.
I use realoem to find the correct part number for model/spec/year car - saves a lot of time. As to your seats, could you strip the existing seats and look for some cheaper cloth BMW seats and refit the expensive parts of your current ones. Lastly - do some firms re-pack airbags for a cheaper price and is this an accepted practice ?
Not sure where my comment went from yesterday but I said the same thing with regards to realoem. It is a huge help in finding parts and so on.

Just 37 mins in and you are about to test the oil filter for magnetic bearing material. Sorry, but bearing material is non-ferrous so not magnetic.
Bearing shells are normally steel?
