A boat of graduating high school students bound for Manhattan pulls Jason Voorhees along for the ride.
1. Julius has some serious balls in this scene, boxing with Jason freaking Voorhees.
2. Punching a hockey mask with his bare hands, now you know why his hands were bleeding towards the end.
3. Apparently his blood starts glowing when being decapitated, huh. 1:49
4. Hats off to Julius. Unlike most of Jason's victims, he died while putting up a fight.
Yeah. Heads off to Julius
Kinda wish they went for it and had him tackle Jason off the building-- that way he could almost kill himself and Jason really just puts him out of his misery but I'm guessing "punch his head off" -won in the writer's room.- _was more appealing while on cocaine_
@@astranger8434 the movie was so *gut wrenching* 😏
His blood isnt glowing its just red lights from the building in the background.
We NEED more protagonists like Julian in horror films. But ones who are more strategic as well as formidable.
Well to be honest outside of Jarvis, Julius is by far the best character in the series..
He literally did what any smart person would and ran to call the police, then proceeded to run for like 5 minutes to get away from Jason with out slowing down or even falling...
Climbing a Bldg thinking Jason wouldn't make it up and finally once cornered deciding to fight
Ash Williams
I gotta talk about Kane hodder for a second he is a absolutely legend he told Julius's actor "to go for it and let me have everything you got" when shooting the scene and if you watch this scene you see Kane eating the punch then immediately going back into Jason mode doing the Jason stare at Julius and getting back into his pose each time even throwing in a couple head tilts he had such a patient to the character it was absolutely unrivaled and if ever at any point from the future I would love to see him have the opportunity to return to the character and play Jason one more time.
Yes. Kane Hodder is to Jason what Wes Craven was to Freddy. Its just not the same when someone else plays the character.
@@CSLucasEpicRobert Englund*
He had padding and wasn't really getting punched in all teh scenes
When Julius stop punching, Jason must've been like: ''Is that all you got?''
Probably respected the guy tbh 🤣
Jason: All that for a drop of blood.
Ernesto Moreno endgame haha
Jason is pretty immortal like one punch man
@@howeverbasic8678 Julius:I like ya cut g!
Jason:muda muda muda muda! *kills Julius*
Fun fact, Kane Hodder (actor of jason in friday the 13th 7-10) was taking those punches Legitimately, those are real hits from the actor that played Julius.
Won't Kane get hurt?
I'm sure it hurt both Kane Hodder and Vincent Craig Dupree.
Though it wouldn't be the first time Kane tanked actual injuries for Jason's sake. czcams.com/video/ER0PxDC3DZ0/video.htmlm04s
@American Nightmare That sounds like a good money maker. Quick, call the investors!
brianyzq777 it’s true. And the blood on Julius’ hands is real. And in part 7 Kane got set on fire, fell through a staircase, and had a freaking roof dropped on top of him. I’m willing to bet that at the end of part 9, knowing how dedicated he is, he probably actually got dragged into hell.
Those werent even punches lmao pillow hits.
1:47 - Jason: You have heart and guts kid. I'll give you that. But, I can't leave you alive, so I'll make this quick.
i watched this as a kid,it has stuck with me through out life.never go out like a coward.
Gotta give him props. He had heart to fight Jason and not run away but Jason still knocked his head off
we need more fights like this in Friday the 13th.
He even pushed him back. And made Jason bend a little every time he punched him in the stomach.
He used his head to try and outsmart Jason.
This is an iconic scene and kill. It uses Jason's pure, unbridled strength and turns a knock out into a knock off. 10+ points for making the basket.
Julius has been watching too many rocky movies
He was an actual boxer
He was a real boxer
XD LOL
@@trayweathersby7490 key word *was*
Jason rarely fight people unarmed, so him fighting Julius is a big deal. Jason has some type of respect for Julius.
Lol it’s not respect,Jason clearly didn’t have any weapons and knows he doesn’t need them anyways
Julius was his target out out of the group of targets
Letting Julius hit him seems almost confusing to him
Julius waits for the right moment
@@poopsyko I don't think it's confusion either. More like "awhhh poor baby" and just cherishing making Julius feel powerless. The head in trashcan was just pouring salt on the wound.
I like how the dumpster lid closed😂😂😂😂😂
@@poopsykohighly doubt he was confused. He clearly allowed him to do it😂.
My favorite Jason scene ....dude says ...if I'm going down ...I'm going down swinging .
The one thing I learned from this scene is to never go down without a fight
This is legit my favorite character of everything for anything. Man knew what he was up against, knew he was gonna lose but still said damn imma beat this niggas ass before it ends. I fuck wit it
Julius: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!"
Jason: "You fight like a younger man with nothing held back, arrogant, but mistaken"
Dark kight rises quotes are the best
@@realmanface3149 yeah
@@realmanface3149 for you
Not Bane....😂😆😆😂
Jason was literally pulling his punches until the kid was exhausted!
Jason was just rolling with the punches until Julius wore himself out.
@@michaelconsuegra7316 The old rope a dope strategy....
The Homer Simpson boxing strategy.
Here’s a fact: Julius’s actor actually bloodied his own fist and he was actually tired so when Jason punched his head off they just used a fake rubber dummy with blood tubes inside the back of its head and Julius’s actor wore a fake headless suit
This movie had a weird plot (even for a Friday the 13th movie) but a lot of memorable kills
Tyrannic Cubone wierd plot....Did you see Part 9?..
The original script was ...Jason kills someone ....fill in words later .....Jason kill someone else ....then something happens
@@Kingmax9999 what is the full Story of FT13th Part 9?.
I'm no boxer, but I would think that if my opponent was wearing a protective hockey mask, my strategy would NOT include throwing any punches to his face.
Well it is not like the body blows would help since your opponent is a zombie
NorthJerseyJabroni Nice bitch
Jason Voorhees omg it’s the one and only Jason Voorhees plz don’t kill me
@@yoplee310 Ok i love you so much
Jason Voorhees oh ok-
of all of Jason's victims, Julius fought back the most.
Jason stood and was like finally somebody with balls
And then Jason kills him with respect
Here's a fun fact: Kane Hodder told VC Dupree to actually hit him during the scene, so all those shots of Jason staggering back are real. Even better, Julius' bloody knuckles at the end aren't makeup; VC Dupree really bloodied his knuckles after multiple takes
It was a scene in which the actor portraying Julius said he cut his hand on a piece of glass
Who else wishes Julius and Coleen survived with Rennie, Sean and Tobey and it was just Charles who got killed?
Jacob Coley me they were my favorite characters I was sad that they had to die
Deisi HERNANDEZ I don't blame you, Julius was brave and funny, and Coleen was sweet and kind
Well, I guess it wouldn't be a horror movie without likeable characters dying
I wish that Julius survived but the brother got heart, real talk.
julius:throws multiple knockout punches that would effect a regular human
Jason: *FUCC YOU MEAN*
Ok... His hands are BROKEN.
I read somewhere online where someone calculated that Jason had to throw that punch with enough force that to equal a car going 75 mph to achieve that kill.
Not all that impossible considering Francis Ngannou punches with the force of a mid size car traveling at roughly 40 mph 😳
Everyone’s saying Jason showed respect to Julius but honestly I think in his mind as he was taking punch after punch just one word came to his mind. “pathetic”
Well, I Gotta Hand It To Julius At Least He Has Some Guts
Seen this a month ago, now all my training is focused on: “ What if I had to fuck up Jason?”
Gonna start going to the gym with this mindset.
The most iconic scene of entire movie. During filming all punches thrown were real. The actor Julius injured his hands punching the hockey mask.
Definitely the most talked about scene of entire movie.
Your boi puttin those hands on jason lol
Jason did the rope a dope
Jason had good technique in that one hook tbf
I guess he didn’t think aHEAD when he fought Jason.
Talk about the ultimate one hitta quitta 🤜🏽💀
Homeboy stood his ten toes down
My guy didn’t even run away when he had the chance 💀
Contrary to popular belief if you watch the movie he did try to run away.. he ran away for like 5 min but Kason kept finding him so finally he climbed a Bldg and then Jason cornered him and that's when he decided to fight.
I remembered it differently. My memory added music to the scene, went the other direction, (from left to right) and made it look like the boxer actually hurt Jason a bit. Weird how my mind played that trick on me.
34 years and nobody has matched Julius in bravery. Second place would be the cops who set up a sting operation at the beginning of Jason Goes to Hell, but rooftop boxing Jason Voorhees alone? That sting was a distant second.
Julius’ fist: Keeps hitting and eventually bleeds.
Julius: AM I A JOKE TO YOU?
Jason wins fatality obviously ?
Johnny cage would approve 😁🕶️
Yes I would
You could say he was in....over his head 😂😂😂💯
He knocked his block off
In honor of black history lets honor this brave black king for going out like a G
Would have been funny if the old guy with the fishing pole from the insurance commercial chimed in at the end "Oh you almost had it. You got to be quicker than that!"
When you forgot to do the dishes 1:45
Damn Loco you almost had him
Jason: And that’s how it’s done.
Deserves to be in the hall of fame of best horror movie scene ever
13 Ghost, bisected by glass door.
One Of The Only Brave Brave People to Fight Jason with His Fist
Forget throwing punches like Foreman and eating like Ali, do both like Jason!
The sad thing is that Julius ALMOST won. At least the round. By this point in the movie, he had rowed a boat from the shipwreck to Manhattan, sprinted to a phone booth to call 911 and back, and climbed onto the roof for the fight. Even exhausted from all of this, he pushed Jason back right to the edge of the rooftop. In perfect condition, he could have knocked him off and gotten away.
Although knowing Kane Hodder, he would actually get knocked off a roof if the script called for it and it's better that he didn't die from this scene.
Captain Doomsday same
Jason Wins! Brutality!
After the first two punches I would’ve stopped, Hilarious lol
Realistically, this is how Freddy vs. Jason would've went down.
Steven from Jason goes to hell and Julius are the ones I respect the most they both fought Jason .
Lesson learned ! If you try to punch a muted maniac with a hockey mask , don't because all he does is stand there, watching you getting exhausted and he will decapitate you with a fucking punch
Now that's a 1 hitter quitter
When I watch this scene,I feel so sorry for Julius, damn it, he was so close to knocking Jason off the roof, and I feel like just a little bit of effort and he's gonna knock him off the roof. And when I watch it again, it seems to me that it will definitely happen, but Julius dies in the end,how sorry:( it was Necessary at the end of Julius, to lean on Jason and fly off the roof together, the idea is stupid ,but it was the only way out. Sorry about my English.
Even if Jason did fall, maybe die, he'd still come back. He always does. Unfortunately.
He'd take Julius with him and he'd survive the fall no doubt and be unfazed by it.
Jason would used Julius as a way to soft his landing
Great and interesting scene from both. Dupree was awesome in it.
Kane of stunt Lifetime Achievement Award. Class act.
Julius, the man who was never afraid of death.
I've never seen this movie but I feel like they could have given Julian a pass here. Like, "I like your grit, come back when you are stronger". And Jason just throw him somewhere.
Just survive the 1st round and Julius will have a stroke just getting to the corner.
The fact that Julius could have tried to do anything at that point to knock Jason off the roof wouldn’t have made a difference
In the original plan for part 8 Jason was to survive a fall off the Statue of Liberty 🗽
And this fight was to take place on Madison square garden
How awesome that could have been
After his fists were damaged, he should have used his palms or maybe grabbed a weapon. Well, Jason would've won no matter what tbh
Or pushed Jason off the roof
@@FC-nr4ot Bruh I never realized that as an option. Just keep landing combos, and then double leg his off the fucking roof.
Yo. So true.
This was the holy grail of slasher films
Julius: *hits lot of times*
Jason : are u serious?
Jason : *hits and his head flew away
i had no clue!
Him hitting the hockey mask full force had to hurt
And yet the final girl from Friday The 13th Part 3 just ran around and screwed around with Jason all over the place and knocked him around and threw him off balance over and over again. I guess that means that she was better at fighting Jason than Julius was.
Jason was still mortal during that time. It was in part 6 when he was brought back that was when he became something...else.
Now that was FUNNY😂
Julius: "take your best shot... MuthaFka..."
Jason: "Gladly"
1:31 - Jason: That's it? Let me just get this over with.
A death that’s over the top.
I seen your comments before in diffrent vids chris
Looking at this in a realistic way, Julius would have never punched Jason in the face because he was wearing a mask. He would have punched him directly in the stomach.
1:45 if you insist. 1:49 ONE PUUUUUNNNNNCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH (I don’t even watch the anime)
He granted Julius a warrior’s death. Quick and painless.
you know its funny seeing jason taking these heavy blows as if its nothing and yet when a defenseless innocent blonde even touches him he falls to the ground, yea ok lol
(Seeing the head fly off) and the field goal is good 😁😆🏈
WHAT A KNOCK OUT SCENE 😂
None of this would have happened had Busta Rhymes been there
I mean at least Jason let him have a fair shot
@@yoplee310 fighting respect
When you show up to the boss fight underleveled
🤣🤣🤣
" Im knocc'n heads off !!! "
...like that lil john & tha eastside boyz song 👊
This Man has some balls for Brawling with Jason!!!! Julius went down!!!!
😒😒😒😒
😈😈😈😈
Gotta respect Jason on this, ran the fade with bro with no weapons
His name is V.C. Dupree. He's a friend of mine.
Jason doesn't have no mercy ☠️🔥
When you get matched up against a player with high stats but continue to fight
JASON JUST TAKING THOSE PUNCHES FROM HOME BOY I KNOW JASON THINKING LIKE U THINK THAT SHIT HURT ME FOO HELL IS U DOING.
1:47 "Finish him."
1:51 "Fatality."
1:53 "Yeah."
James Rolfe.
Lol, I always wanted to see Jason take on a boxer or martial artist....
Cali God Goku isn’t exactly the same as a regular boxer is he ???
Finley Claydon Neither is a rocket launcher
Sean Duggin what ?????
Finley Claydon A rocket launcher is what you need until he comes back
Sean Duggin yeah, cause every boxer has a rocket launcher
He knocked that man to Valhalla.
I should let this dude live.
WHAT YOU CALL ME? BOOM!
Jason is the real master of the ropeadope.
My man was throwing hands 😂
"How are you still alive??"
"I have no idea, but you won't be"
I read that the actor who played Julius died in 1997 in a car accident aged 41 or 42
How does he keep punching him back, but then when the camera pans out, they're still in the same location😂
