Can't help but laugh at Lloyd taking, what? 6 years, to finish the script. I'd written this off as something that would never be finished because of Lloyd.
So: full comic is about 120 pages. This is the final 1/3 of the script, meaning it represents 40 pages of the comic. I wonder about the financial arrangements. Is it something like this? The KS money is already in, held by Lloyd, part of it must be intended to pay for drawing the actual art, two thirds of it were already paid out to Chris for the first two thirds of the book. Now Chris will have to work for maybe a year to finish the last third to get the last third of the money. Let's say the amount allotted for the art was 60k. Not sure what's more impressive: that I moved to a new city, had a girlfriend, broke up with her, met someone else, lost 50lbs, bought a house, worked through a global pandemic, got made redundant, started a new job & started a family...or the fact that this is finished.
You even said this (waiving the script around) takes you “YEARS” plural, that’s 2 and more, on a project you told us would be done in 18month (possibly faster) with no script?

I'm so excited!!!
Can’t wait to see
Not sure what's more impressive: that I moved to a new city, had a girlfriend, broke up with her, met someone else, lost 50lbs, bought a house, worked through a global pandemic, got made redundant, started a new job & started a family...or the fact that this is finished.
So, where are we at now? Feeling like a scam if im honest.
Holy hell, it's done ? Is this reality or am I in a simulation ? I think I need a stiff drink and a sit down....
Yup all done.
@@illustriouschin not yet sadly
I think it's fair to say: If you finish it in less than 6 years, your name should come first (on the left side of the cover)! 😉
You even said this (waiving the script around) takes you “YEARS” plural, that’s 2 and more, on a project you told us would be done in 18month (possibly faster) with no script?
A side note: will Dead Heaven be revived after you finish the Hannibal graphic novel?
Hey at least this will be finished before Star Citizen.
The first email i got "estimated delivery: december 2017" haha :) - glad to see it on the homestretch now!
Wow, this is positive news. I never backed it, and was hoping to buy it when it comes out. I hope that I will have the opportunity to do that.
What to expect to arrive first:
“In Search of Hannibal” or “ The Elder Scrolls VI”?
The Elder Scrolls VII, just after HL3
At this point, given that the art still isn't done + printers and advertising and such, I suspect Winds of Winter will come out first.
GTA VI
Finally.
Now to hope the script matches the art.
it won't
pompous drivel at best
Wow, this is just the rest of the script?! So how big the whole script actually is? And how many pages of the comic book will it make?
And are we sure that wasn't April's fools from Lindybeige? =)
Can't wait, it been so long but I got top tier I forgot what I was all getting lol
It's still 80+ weeks out?!
@@wallpello_1534 I assume he means one week per page of artwork, not script.
@@kstringer24 I might of misheard, maybe there is 80 pages of script but less than 80 pages to draw
sweet f all is all you're getting from beige
Well, Chris, do share your art with the world though, at least once in a while!
Hey Steininger! I love your creations and work! Is there any way to get in touch with you? Just to ask some questions 😅
Awesome
Awesome! I only found out about this project a few months ago so I haven’t pledged but I’m stoked to buy a copy when it comes out
Well, better 6 years in the making and awesome than half-baked and shitty as often times seen or never finished at all.
are you guys making an omnibus? how many pages is it going to be?
Lets go!
❤️
It's coming, so no matter what I'm happy 😀
Given how good we know this book is going to be we don't mind having to wait. Really looking forward to this
How many pages is the script?
And omg lindybeig, he is amazing!
welp, I need to get my new address into kickstarter asap
I had like 4 different adresses since I supported this on kickstarter lol
This is all good news. However, I haven't gotten any answers on the Kickstarter SmileTitans inbox regarding my enquiry for veryfying my address. I asked that question in September 4, 2018 (no response) and recently, May 8, 2022 (awaiting response). Is there any customer service contact or any way to get that my question answered. Thank you for keeping this alive.
Don't rush the art.
Exciting! I've moved several times since I helped fund this... Any way I can update my address with y'all?
Same. They should send an email asking to update everyone's addresses before sending, as no doubt many have changed.
If you still have the backerkit email, there's an "update address" link in there. The sender will say "SmileTitans publishing" or something similar.
Though I believe that a confirmation email will be sent out anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much if you don't have that email anymore.
Finally!
How do i update the shipping address on kickstarter? It has changed since I pledged. I cannot find it on the kickstarter page
Why did an email about this update not go out?
Hurra!
So what's your next colab with Lloyd? 😅
