The best work, i am braziliam and have a Escort Hobby. This Escort is a dream.
It seems to me, that in whatever location across Europe to look around and since the introduction of subsequent Focus generations, these old Escorts of all generations totally died off from the streets. So it's great to see that someone tries to restore them and even better to see such rare sporty version of mk IV!
Great job. I owned 3x Series 1 RS Turbo's and 2x Series 2 RS Turbo's through the 90's........wish i'd have kept them all now that they're worth a fortune!!
Very nice to see a copy of my car being rebuild to show state. Although mine looks in a better shape it still needs a job similar like this to get it up there. Until then it is safely stored and preserved. Hope parts will still be there when the time comes.

Beautiful car. Well done on the rebuild, I had one years ago in Red and loved it.
Damn this makes me miss mine. It was black, lowered and Escort Cossie wheels and it looked so awesome. Had a loud dumpvalve wich was such a headturner. At that time everybody had Golf MK2's and the RS Turbo was pretty rare in Holland.
There are still some in Holland. Mine is still stored away waiting for the same rebuild as this video. Although mine is in better condition as it seems. Hopefully there are still enough parts around. 🤔

sorry, but NEVER do bodywork like that again, dont cover old rust with new sheetmetal, will start rusting imideately! But nice work to the engine!
