Ok, you have probably the best Fiesta RS Turbo on the planet. Bravo 💪💪
That brought back some memories. I didn't realize that there was a turbo version. Mine was nsa. But I did find an over sized carburetor and a header for it. Black with two big white stripes down the middle. Skunks!

Yeah man, the XR2I was originally the top model in 1989, but by 1990 they released the RS turbo. Think it went from 110bhp to 130bhp. Very small differences like the hood vents, the green rather than blue strip, obviously the green fiesta RS turbo logo rather than the blue XR2I one on the back, and the recaros came standard on the turbo but were an optional extra on the XR2I
In 1989, the XR2I was the only one with the EFI engine as apposed to the carb. The turbo im pretty sure is the exact same engine but obviously with a turbo

Very rare now and loved mine to bits back in the 90’s. Sadly it FELL to bits too 🤣 Nice to see one back to former glory. 👍
Pure genius I had 2 of these way back when. A white and a black one. The white one was highly modified used to beat Sapphire 4x4 cosworths in 4 gears, literally could pass them from behind! More or less had all the RS's apart from the 3 door sierra. Favourite was the D reg s1 turbo a montego shunted it from behind writing it off. loved the vid took me back a few years.
Looks mint, I miss my red one and I got a mercury grey one after that which I dearly regret selling 7 years ago.

There seems to be too much rust on the inside.. Should have taken it apart completely down to each individual body part then sandblasted it. That's what they did with Elvis Presley's 1956 BMW.. just imagine all the work...
