Absolute amazing build and such major modifications to the bodyshell to turn this Mk1 Fiesta into a fantastic piece of work . 10/10

This was a a really nice shell, so just shows what you could do with a rotter. Amazing metalwork and final product. I guess the brief got more radical as the build progressed. Would have made an amazing sleeper.

All you need is a shell and you can start slowly from there man

i got to this video after finding it on google website search, then finding project bobcat, saw all pages there then got hear, wow, amazing build, then sad to hear it got stripped and the shell was sold separately, shame a buyer didn't want to put up the correct money for it. would of been good see some live action vids of it. some talent right there, amazing.

I had a dark metallic blue xr2 before I had a license. I was 16. I talked my dad into buying one that was damaged so I could fix it and sell for a small profit. Then when I got my license I got a black xr2. I think they were 1982-83 models.

I would have preferred to see a GRP 2 Fiesta I.e. with traverse bda and front wheel drive. I was building one myself many years ago but had to sell it. The suspension was done and it handled superbly...

great work. amazing engineering. the one problem i have is the pressed holes in the gussets for the engine crossmember, looks like it would collect water as i cant see a way for the water to escape from there?

If someone can entertain me - why do you Brits use a parallel 4 link rather than a 3 or triangulated 4 link if paved circuits are all it will see? I'm stateside, found an imported one locally and am seriously considering doing something like this.

Almost 26 minutes of PHOTOS. It would have been nice to get a video of a start-up or test drive. But then again, you had nothing to do with this build...
He's just nicking photos from web forums to make a video, the cars nothing to do with him or his hard work.
Richard Neilson is correct, all these photos originally came from magazines from years back. The images are relative but most of the cars are very expensive rebuilds. In some cases they start with a car that has no value and rebuild the car with super expensive parts and exotic welds.

It was mostly rust beforehand would've ended up scrap, its obviously not for the purist. I have a mk2 more or less done like this fwd. You'd hate it.
