why is it that.. the world over ..... these houses .. have hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on them .... then someone decides to pay for shit curtains ..... as if these buildings will heat themselves for $10 a week ....
Not all of the curtains are thin. The coach house is unlikely to be occupied out of the holiday season. The linings of the curtains may have a thermal lining. Not even all of the rooms may be occupied in the main house either. The heating will only be used for the rooms that the owners regularly use. Not all of the curtains are to my taste either but then I don’t have a practically a million euro house and you don’t know if the windows are double glazed either. Judging without knowing. Well done.

It's a lovely house & grounds & not too huge which is a real plus !! But altho I'm now 81 yrs old myself, I should say my mother would have loved the 1972 decor & furniture - me not so much - too much chunky light wood reminds me of American ugly furniture - is this an American owner I wonder ? BUT all that criticism aside, the house itself is what matters...lots of painting & some much more gentile furnishing choices in accordance with the era of the house would make it very special !!!
I am 75 years old and would love to own this mansion for myself children and grandchildren. It would be the icing on the cake.
