i just went home at some point because i already did my raids for the beasts over the last week and the pokemon in the habitats for free players really were not it, or at least not for me...
and you only get fusion energy from necro raids tomorrow, so.. that was also not worth my time and tickets.
for me this event day felt really useless..

Ive gotten 22 shinies for day 1! I think my favorite catches of day 1 were Corsola (really rare for me since im in New Zealand) and a shiny Buzzwole with the special background

@@heIIothere951 Only thing you get without a ticket are the spawns and increased lure module duration. Pretty much everything else from boosts, to collection challenges, to researches all require the ticket.

24 shinies all up with 9 new. I feel if I didn't concentrate on raids so much, I would've gotten more. Was the first time playing gofest in the Adelaide CBD, so many lures and spawns kept overlaping it was hectic trying to check everything

Ended up with 40 shinies for day one, with 2 Buzzwole, Corsola, Espeon, and unown A. I am very happy, especially since we had to shelter for rain a couple of times

It is really sad that without the ticket, the event is boring as hell. Could not be bothered anymore after two hours of playing while I had to run errands anyway....
Not even a collection challenge for free players... I just did my regular daily routine and moved on.

I played both days of go fest without a ticket, Only 1 shiny.
As per shiny rates this is the best Fests ever for me ( its my third). Got 45 shienies in 4h of hard trying and next 4 just catching from home. Only one thing could've been better for me - spawns. But still had a blast, my son as well. But my wife while having a ticket too, just got 4 shienies. She still liked it ( I wouldnt).
This Go Fest was undoubtedly my luckiest ever. Something like 15 new shinies, new and old releases. Two shiny hatches, which included a jangmo-o, managed both the Umbreon and Espeon shinies, and got a whopping seven shiny crabrawlers. Unprecedented for me 😆
Played all day today 10am-6pm, with a paid ticket… to get a total of ONE shiny.. which I already had. So many raids and not one shiny ultra-beast. 😢 Definitely not a great experience today for me, other than getting my steps in! 😅
and i thought i had bad luck with 4 shinys today i remember my day one being rubbish last year too day2 was much better hopefully it’s the same this year. too if not i won’t be buying the ticket next year.
Walked 31km and got 36 shinies, best was a 98% costume Espeon off incense. Still need to find a Corsola tomorrow.
Do routes, I realised late after 3pm there was stuff spawning and I nabbed two shiny Ducklett that way.
Spacial rend is a game changer for Go Fest, was overwhelmed with spawns for first hour or two but once I started to not worry about catching and focus on just checking I had a better time.
this event was a satisfying feeling of getting all the big hits on day 1, leaving day 2 with less pressure
I used the first day of the Global event to get through the first page of “Whispers in the Woods” Special Research - specifically catching 251 Pokémon first discovered in the Johto region. There were loads of Corsola and Unown which helped me complete that task. Other than that barely any shines…played about 1/2 the day and caught 4 😅
12 shinies in 5 hours for me (when i had to stop playing because work) and im happy with that! Played at my local amusement park so there was plenty of stationary moments when i was in line for rides and hiding out from the rain. 551 mons caught, had a great day in Minnesota!
For ticket users it was great fun! Quests felt rewarding, shiny rate was good, the raids were really cool. Loved it!
I have played for 4 and I am already at 19 shinies

The best part is we can catch some pokemon then evolve them with charge move that cannot be learned normally. I got charmander then evolve to charizard that automatically has Blast Burn that require elite charge tm, fortunately I don't have to wait for the shop to sell it

@@Bavkana if you got before go fest, I'm afraid not. But if you got during go fest, it's guaranteed to have Blast Burn. I evolved 2 Charmander (got them during go fest) and both have Blast Burn

Lost 3??? Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. But seriously!! This catch rate is so much better for events like this, I wasted so much time on catching at the live events.
How'd u know they were hundos then?
I'm usually knocking Niantic for this or that, but I did like the fact that they made it easier to catch the raid pokemon usually on the first or second ball. Saved A LOT of time.
Best ever? I'm sure there have been events that were better overall when taking free players into account.

I ended up with 35 and worked from 8:20-2:30 so really only started playkng at about 2:45. Im really happy because i 94% Crabrawler and a bunch more! Cant wait to be able to play tomorrow as well
I got 39 shiny on day one. Got quite lucky today with all new shiny mons but none of the beasts yet

I bought the GoFest ticket last minute and went into the city to play on a whim. SOOO much has changed in the year or so I haven't been playing!! Had work today so I couldn't play much but I've now come home and binged a few of your videos just so I can understand what the hell is going on!!! Glad you're still grinding things out!! Pretty satisfied with my Global Go Fest too. As for shinies: Sadly no scarf shiny Umbreon, did get a shiny scarf Espeon though! Ducklett and Crabrawler shiny too. Furthermore I got Spinarak, Clamperl, Dratini with pretty good IV's, Another Litwick and Rockruff and Amaura. I was a ticket holder. Did get a good IV scarf Umbreon & Espeon which I will best buddy. They're so cool!
Another third type 'station' after Pokestop and Gym can be debut in Pokemon Go, that is Stadium.
This new Stadium main role in Pokemon Go is place that used to be Dynamax and Gigatamax raid.
Stadium another role is raid battle like always played in Pokemon Go right now.
Existing gym will has another new role, new NPC gym leaders takes over. Potentially battle with new NPC gym leaders.

This happened to me every year Global Go Fest less than 10 shinies for two days. But this year I’m getting better luck cos I walk for 5 hours and play at home for three hours. Just play for tomorrow maybe better luck. Good luck!

Did you think the new shiny spawns (emolga, crabrawler, jamgmo-o & ducklett) were few and far between ? We searched high and low for a shiny jangmo but no luck amongst the whole family!
The event hasn't even started for us yet but a friend invited us to a Necrozma raid where they are and my first one is a shiny. This event is starting very well for me

ticket definitely increased shiny rates. 12 shinies, 2 hundos, 5 hours.
The ticket only effected shiny rate on incense.
I was really lucky day 2 with 55 shinies 😍 Didn't do the shiny count until end of the event and I was litterally shocked. Ended up with 79 total for the 2 days🎉🎉

My shiny Jangmo-o ran (go plus got it) wasn't worried because of Community Day next year but sad i never get that luck!
This is probably the most lucky I’ve ever gotten during a Pokemon Go fest. I managed to pull 50 shinies, and most of them were shinies that I needed. This took a lot of grinding though
I think too many comm day spawns but still had fun Hatched 146 eggs to get 4 shinies: 2 Duckletts 💜, Corsola and 1 Jangmo-o 💖
I finally got my shiny tyrunt so that alone made my day. Shiny nacrozma and a 96% necrozma was just a bonus
If you dont get shiny Jangmo-o during go fest, rest assured you will in about 11 months guaranteed.
Got 16, my wildest was a Catch Card Beast Ball Caught 96% Shiny Necrozma, and a few odds and ends including a Corsola, to my surprise.

If you were going to raid a fair chunk the ticket kind of pays for the in person raid passes you get (if you spin them). If not then it's up to you and the play style.
Based on feedback from people I saw who were paid up with paid/not paid players I think the boost to shiny was roughly 1 : 10
I got fairly rough RNG for the first 4 hours but my kids got loads so it's all random unfortunately.
I got a shiny pidgey
I ended up with 13 shinies (Axew, Pidgey, Cottonee, Tyrunt, Golett, Vullaby, Stunfisk, Yungoos, Dedenne, Sneasel, Dratini, Phantump, and hatched a shiny Sableye)!
I got 54 shinies!! My favorites are my shiny Necrozma, shiny Umbreon and Espeon, and shiny Pikachu Sun crown, and shiny Jangmo-o!! Shiny Corsola too! Its regional so very rare for me in upper US! Of course my shiny Duck, Celesteela, Buzzwole, and Guzzlord.
The last few events ive taken part in were so bad on the shiny odds that im offically done.
I'm so excited to start this. Going to get a lot of walking in. Hoping to get at least one hundred.

Got 43 shinys loved the umbreon and espeon costume shinys.
I got 21 shinies with 7 been new so pretty happy with that, although this year the spawns were dull

my gobal fest, wasn't the best for me, bad weather :(. to stormy and rainy, so couldn't go out for a walk

I wasnt able to play much at all, so had the go plus going on. Got 6 shinies in total of which 4 new ones. Tomorrow we get steppin!

Did the whole event today with a ticket...only a few shinies. And one I already had; none of what I was hunting for. Kinda disappointed. Especially after braving the heat.
Ended with 47 shiny on total for day one. Beat my record by 5 from last year.

I got 57 shinies. I love my hometown man. Seriously all the luck in the world struck me today. I cant believe it either , i played the whole 8 hours proper and man it was worth it. Got the shiny Jangmeo , the one i paid the ticket for. 😁😁
I paid for the ticket and i got 6 shinies in 8 hours. 2 of them were community day shinies. This was the worst global go fest ever. I’m tired of hearing the pogo youtubers hype up these events when its clear and obvious they benefit more than the rest of us.

Gotta be honest here. My experience was garbage. Not many shiny (wild) but my issue was why did I get more shinies via REMOTE instead of INPERSON. The raid train we had for in person gave up after 2 hours due to lack of shinies. Definitely not a good GoFest.
I don’t think they turned on the shiny boost for the US. They also didn’t boost the spawns, like for Com Day. 3 hours in, no shinies. Complete waste of time.

The first day of global started off bad. 54 minutes and no shinys. I post a comment on your 2h update on shinys on X, and complaining on X always works. I got my first shiny, a Snivy. I try my luck to change it to something better, and it did change, not to anything better, a Rosalie. But from there on; I got 13 shinys myself. I was just done after 4,5hours in the heat/sun. Let my go plus + do some work, and ended with a total of 15 shinys on day 1. Best GO fest since … ever maybe. The last few ones have been horrible. I am very happy with my catches, and I hope tomorrow will be just as good 🤞🏻🤞🏻
