First of all, Jadeite isnt that rare at all??? Generally its a lighter more milky green aka Chinese jade. Nephrite is more rare aka New Zealand jade...usually dark green almost black, the darker the more quality hence more expensive pieces are the darkest. Alot of these are pretty abundant these days. Perhaps you should state other relevant factors that may make it rare eg. AAA grade, 5+ carat etc. is hard to come by.
I could keep stating facts but... really? You have the audacity to say at least be smart about ranting yet your video shows no actual knowledge of the rarest gemstones, or lack there of. I at least expected to see Moldavite featured in this list :/
Of these rare gemstones, I own tanzanite (even a pink one), black opal, benitoite, alexandrite, and bixbite (red beryl). I also own a natural 5,220ct blue topaz, a 2,608ct ruby, and a 5 gram ingot of iridium. I then have other stones that too numerous to mention.

Arent rocks made out of elements and if you put those elements they have the same value?
Rocks are made of minerals which are made of elements that can be metamorphosed into other rocks with heat. If your asking if you can just make the stones, yes you can. The price and time involved will be astronomical for minimal results.

At 8, they must have made a mistake in naming that opal, Black Opal. It is nowhere black. It has a fiery colour, not black if you know what black is. It would have been better if it was named Fire Opal (1:22).

I feel like jadeite shouldn't be on this list. It's valuable but not particularly rare even though it is less common than nephrite jade. Quick net search finds a 175-ton stone found recently in Burma and likewise this was used by the Mayan and other Central American cultures such that it will continue to be found in relics from those places. Jadite's price is very 80/20 that is 20 percent of product gets 80 percent of the money, the main market by far is the Hong Kong market serving a fairly narrow definition of jade quality (green or white highly translucent) but lower quality pieces can be had for a lot less (but most 'jade' being sold is likely not jadeite, thousand-plus year tradition of fakes)
