I’m getting my copper iud taken out October 19th of this week. I am a nerd when it comes to my cycle, I know when I ovulate and what day of my cycle to expect my period bc I have somewhat irregular cycles, they range from 34-39 cycle days. How soon can my partner and I try for a baby? I know the copper IUD has no hormones, but can the IUD even after removal affect my chances of pregnancy? TIA

Yes
Yes. Sperm can be motile and able to fertilize an egg up to 5 days after intercourse. If someone ovulates in that window of time after unprotected intercourse pregnancy is possible. Thank you for watching!
