The thing that always gets me about this game is, it feels more than just a shooter it's like your part of a dramatic movie in every match you play. The atmosphere is amazing

Bf1 just had this something, didn't it? I will never forget, I was playing Operations, the explosions, whistles and screams. Mud and dirt. I was geniualy scared. Amazing game
Possibly the most cinematic Battlefield game. Operations feels like you're in a WW1 movie.

I'm so happy this is somewhat back, one of my all time favourite battlefield games. The atmosphere is just unbeatable
so wierd seeing everyone so nobbie at the game lol i was watching like is this a bot server... good to see new players tho whenever I logg on its the same exact players and were all so good that it get crazy lol
I've been playing on and off for several years now and it always has multiple full servers with queues running. I feel like as long as people still host servers, I will always play this game, it just bangs that much.
It never really left, did it? I always go through server browser, but there you could always find full servers
I think the map's are crap and full of cheater's on PC

I wish it was any one of those 4 things lol. They managed to make a BF title devoid of anything really. And now they look to bring in the class system when 90% of the playerbase have moved on. Big yikes.

Remember when we were all hyped for bf2042. Sucks that i have to go back to COD. Conquest is my favorite game mode in all FPS games.
Kind of hard to create an immersive experience when the game isn’t based on actual events. BF1 capitalized on the brutality and drama that was WW1. I mean it is possible to create an immersive experience into a fictionalized world but specifically this is what made BF1 amazing
Yeah definitely because of "All quiet on the western front" I had to start playing it after watching just incredible atmosphere which BF1 seemed to capture it perfectly. Fantastic game

Sale main reason
BF1 was the one of the first fps games I really got into. I didn’t have internet growing up in the early 00s and I got an Xbox one back in 2017 that came with it. I was blown away. I sunk hundreds of hours into that game as well as hundreds of hours watching Jackfrags play it. I’m so happy it still has a good playerbase in 2022, who’d have thought? I’m also happy Jack is still making content on it. I was introduced to this channel because of BF1, and I’m so happy I was. Truly my favorite fps content on CZcams. Jack is one of my favorite CZcamsrs period. You get so much content and all of it is given professionally and with a smile to boot.
All that to say, thanks Jackfrags for all the wonderful content over the years - and thanks for pulling this classic out every now and again and playing it. It made my day a little better.

Dude same here didn’t get internet at my house until I was about 15 that was back in 2016 I think I have about 236 hours sunk into this game ever since then and I haven’t even played it for like 3 or 4 years 😂. To call this game addicting is an understatement
All quiet on the western front is personally one of the best movies I've seen in a long while and got me back into bf1. Gotta get that 40th service star on the Henry

the movie makes you realize how well they did making bf1 as its still one of my most favorite games as i was a dedicated sniper most of the time. im gonna have to redonload it tonight now as im craving the pure feeling of this masterpiece.

This game looks so good on the maxed out PC settings. I encourage more of the max graphic, low UI, role-playing style videos. Keep it up. The more story you infuse the more captivating the gameplay.
I started playing this game in 2016 on Xbox One and it was great then.
Now I have a pc that I built with a 3070 and this game looks absolutely incredible!!!

Honestly, BF1 is really not a game designed for no-HUD, and playing that way is forcing it to be a gameplay experience its not designes for. P

I remember a lot of hardcore BF fans ragging on this game back in the day. They never knew how good we had it.
I lost my interest in gaming, but I play this game almost every evening last 2 weeks, and its incredible! The most cinematic multiplayer game I have ever played in my life.
Same for me, it's actually been like this for years already. Although I don't play that much, whenever I do play it's BF1!

This game has given me an experience that even today's games cant even reach. Being part of a gigantic operation where every flag capture matters is an unbelievable feeling of wanting to take control and win. Words cant even describe how well the game was put together - animations, sounds, graphics..

BF1 is my favorite FPS I’ve played. I’ve been playing weekly for since 2016 and it’s still amazing. I wish it was new again so we could experience the hype again

BF1 was always my favorite BF game. Epic battles , great atmosphere , excellent maps , near perfect gameplay and very balanced overall !
For me it still is. And it's actually the only multiplayer game I play.
Don´t forget the soundtrack! ;)
One tip: spot enemies while you shoot at them, so they appear on the radar and nearby allies can also know where to shoot at to help you finish enemies faster. so so many occasions I have no sight of the enemies but the class icon above their heads give up their locations and I get a kill from just shooting slightly below the icon.
When I upgraded my PC speakers this was the first game I tested out. By far one of the best sounding games ever.

I’ve been playing bf1 since it came out in 2016 and can honestly say it’s a game I’ll never get bored of, I remember the joy I used to get out of playing this game and still have the same feeling to this day 6 years later. Truly a masterpiece of a game, that of which I will cherish for a long time!
Picked it up a while ago and started to play it a few weeks ago and as a former BF4 player, I really love it, it just gets so much right... And it looks, sounds and feels amazing while doing so!

What great about this game right now is that it doesn't need 30s series card to play it and still looks amazing. After watching Netflix film also wanted to hop back again but MW2 guns won't unlock themselves unfortunately. Great video Jack, as always.

BF1 definitely has the best environments and infantry combat. Trying to successfully drive a jeep across a map without getting stuck in a crater was another story...

I had it on PS4 and playing on PC for the 1st time so I'm just unlocking stuff but it's SO much better than 2042; the dynamic weather effects alone can change the vibes and atmosphere of a match, I just love BF1 with all my heart
I came back to this gem like a month ago? still amazed me how perfectly they created the atmosphere of War, everywhere i go on map theres a charging, fights, screaming.

I've been playing battlefield since bf2 back on the PC. BF1 is IMO the single best war game ever made. Im trying to get my wife to play with me as we have two setups, and she has always resisted a bit as she like RPGs, but you have helped me show her the fun amd beauty in the game. Love watching you have fun playing my favorite game.

I picked this up as part of the sale and I've really become taken in by it. It can be absolutely gorgeous at times and some of the more fantastical guns can have this cool alternate reality steampunk-esque feel to them. It's a ton of fun when you don't instantly die

I was playing last night on the American side and the Argonne operation. Man.. just being part of intense action, playing as medic, running back and forth reviving and dropping med packs. It was intense non stop. Constant explosions and gunfire. Best fps I’ve ever played.

this game is actually beautiful, i got it while it was on sale cause i used to play it at a friends house a ton and i dont regret buying it. every match feels insane and always has atleast one crazy moment. i once saw a tank on my team driving somewhere when an enemy tank shows up, drives on top of the one on my team and explodes. it was amazing
