Prepping for the Bahamas and Picking up hitch-hikers!

- We continue our preparation for the Bahamas trip. Ed repairs our aft deck door and a new air conditioner is installed in the salon. Then we meet up with Shay, from the CZcams Channel "Shay la Vie," who will be joining us for a trip down the Florida Coast!

Little tip i learned just incase you didn't know. You can put 4200 and 5200 in the freezer and it will not cure after being opened. The temp is below the curing temperature. Saved me $$ on large tubes of 5200.

I do instacart when i provision usually wally mart its around 20 bucks all i do is take a couple marina carts to the delivery car...far cheeper and easier than getting an uber and going myself.......every 3 or 4 weeks for me
I chickened out to go to the keys, i plan on spending winter down there now, hanging out at st Augustine for now

The way I see it you would have to be performing the same repairs on a cabin in the mountains of a comparable age. The difference is when you’re done with repairs to your yacht you can show it off everywhere you go!

Teak and mohagany do not get mold or rot, the trees grow in hot humid swamps in the Philippines or Thailand etc , that's why they use it on boats
If you like beer, buy it in Miami. $60 to $70 a case in the Bahamas!
