I actually robbed them a few times (late post game tho!!) But the trick was to have a few pure seeds with you, and be high level enough to survive one or two attacks from them. Also, you always have to check if the stairs are actually far enough away from the store, and contemplate if the stolen items are even worth the hassel.
I mean, the pure HORROR of robbing a Keckleon market isn't the strengh of one Keckleon, it's the number they suddenly come in.
I may have stole from one in Sky... bad idea.

1st: Makes him play the 6th Gen
2nd: Forces him to experience the ups and downs of the Fairy Type, first hand
3rd: Is not something utterly brutal to make him run away from this gen entirely.
Gen 6 isn't really well suited to challenge runs, even nuzlockes are just just of meh in terms of challenge/strategy.
Pokémon X/Y without winning. That’s almost impossible
Gen 6 with only a Sylveon. Wikstrom will be BRUTAL.
Do a "TM Only Run"
What is that? It's a run where your pokemon aren't allowed to learn any moves by level up, you're only allowed to use TM's. Preferably this would be done in a game before gen 5 so you're even more restricted, as each move can only be handed out once.
I can't imagine it'd be difficult, it'd just be interesting to try out strange and abnormal movesets on your pokemon alongside the almost item management aspect.
Platinum would be the ideal game because you get return when you first get to the lab

Doing a runthrough with one smeargle sounds really interesting to watch, as it learns sketch every 10 moves to pick out specific moves you'd want. Only problem i can see is getting the ai to use the move you want.

I find these pokemon challenge videos really interesting to watch. Seeing what kind of strategies you come up with to overcome seemingly impossible odds changes this traditional rpg series into something closer to a puzzle game, albeit with more grinding. I'm looking forward to what you come up with next!
Ghost & Dragon are the only types weak to themselves, so it makes sense that Color Change wouldn't really hurt you very often.

This reminds me of when I beat Kanto only using a venusaur. Best move being razor leaf 55 damage. And they say bulbasuar is the worst choice smh.I also beat evryone without any grinding...

I always pick bulbasaur. Even got myself a plush at a con.
bulbasaur is better suited for kanto, more than charmander and even squirtle.
Venusaur is super effective against the first 2 gyms and resists the third. It's also the strongest of the kanto starters stat wise. I think the only reason people don't like it is because it looks a bit ugly.
Smeargle only run, that feels like it could be somewhat hard

i've literally never seen a shiny in my game in my life besides Lake of Rage, so i'm not overly surprised
The first shiny i ever found was a level 11 Maril, and the only Pokémon on my team then was a level 63 Charizard. I attempted to use my weakest attack and i one shotted it 0^0
First shiny I saw was a Solrock, wasn't even hunting, loved it

You got that Magikarp from the event :O. I got my first shiney Wingull in Sword on my first encounter in the Wild Zone
I don’t usually comment, so this is a big deal for me. I’d honestly love to see a Gen 6 challenge because so many interesting Pokemon came out of that game. Beating the game with only a Goomy, or Pumpkaboo, or Flabebe, or Skrelp... the list goes on. Thanks for another great video!

Okay, I’m sure no one except me wants this, but Grimmsnarl is my favorite Pokémon from sw/sh, SO... can you beat Pokémon Sword (or Shield, your choice) with just a Grimmsnarl?
The game is easy, sure, but I think Leon could pose a threat at the very least. Not to mention the Eternatas fight.
Some basic rules I’d ask (feel free to add more of your own):
1.) Start with Impidimp
2.) No items in battle except for held items
These challenge videos are very entertaining as always, however I know they are always going to be winnable before the end based on how this game is. Level dominance is such a strong factor in battles; and when the pokemon is twice the level as the elite four's pokemon, a win is always certain regardless of what pokemon it is.
Got my first pokemon game (pokemon pearl) when I was like ten and didn't get the whole idea of having a so-called 'balanced team' - I basically one-shotted everything with my Torterra and had a great time. Would be awesome if you could do a challenge like that!

And once again, I'd like to suggest Black 2 or Whte 2 with a Dunsparce.
It might go well. I tend to switch out my starter in Gen 2 with Dunsparce.
Then again, B/W is pretty brutal.

Different kind of challenge: can you build a weather team in a play through and beat the game while using that weather.

I'm really liking these new challenges. Using Pokémon with broader movesets but still have a brainy gimmick make them much more interesting than just grinding to level 100 and restarting battles until you get good RNG

This will probably be an easier one. During gym battles, you can only use pokemon that are weak to the gym type. So you can only use fire against water, water against electric, etc.

Personally I think an interesting but different challenge would be the Rest-Talk challenge, where you can only attack when asleep. I think it would be a refreshing change from the usual “Can I beat ___ with only ___”

Challenge two is solid. All normals is a bit soft in my opinion though. Just imagine: Snorlax, Exploud, Ursaring, Slaking, plus two more, all level 60-70, easy run.
