    1. Understand The Reason for Stimming. Autistic Neurology comes along with a set of difficulties including communication, social skills and executive control. Understand these difficulties and how stimming can soothe a child in such a situation.
    2. A pre-existing Sensory Dysregulation --> Provide necessary sensory activities to meet child's sensory needs. Sensory Integration & Sensory Diets Help A. LOT.
    3. Stimming To Cope with Stress or Too much Input (too much speech, lights, sounds, etc). --> Reduce demands on the child, simplify your language, create a calming sensory environment, provide sensory breaks.
    4. Stimming in order to be able to focus and stay in an activity --> sometimes stimming actually helps the child stay focussed. It's easier to listen and process information when ur hands or body is engaged in movement.
    5. To communicate emotions/ thoughts --> give your child AAC, pictures or teach sentences to express happiness, confusion, frustration. Teach coping strategies in dealing with anger and boredom.

I've used some terms here like 'sensory dysregulation' or 'coping strategies'. Do u need me to talk more about these topics?

Ma'am my daughter is 4.7 years old...doesn't able to recall things happened in school...she seems to be lost in those activities..she is participating and enjoys the environment..but when i ask her right after the school even after that ...she answers irrelevant things like Micky mouse...talks about some old incidents...or becomes irritated to answer ..
Even i saw one thing...her teacher is calling her...she is watching the wall..
But the situation is all different in home..if i become busy in some work...she will come in between and show her drawing...or call me mamma come sit with me...
Or else she will help me in the kitchen...like in peeling cucumber, cutting it,chapati rollling,...like a normal kid...
Even if i sneeze or cough...or her father cough or sneeze...if she is engaged too ...she can say daddy has sneezed or mommy has sneezed..
If she goes out in the park...plays...comes back...she says everything..but whenever i changed the topic to school...she goes back to the park... doesn't shares a single thing
    ..
What is actually happening in school...i m totally unaware...only the written work ...
Last one year we are working...but failing...too much asking. Makes her irritated...nd replies" will not say" (bolbe na)

i really cannot comment without knowing about the child. But if you've had a proper diagnosis from a psychologist, then it will NOT be wrong 99.9% of the time.

hi, is she receiving OT? does she have a diagnosis? sometimes ND kids have movement and physical needs that when not met can manifest as behaviours like so. i need to know more about her to answer.
