So pretty- and I think I can do these. Thanks so much for sharing!
Loved watching this video. Will definitely try them later. Thank you x
Your videos always make me happy and inspired. Can’t thank you enough. You often say ‘for beginners’, but they look professional to me. Thanks again.
It's good to take a break from all the negativity in the news these days, and I find videos like these refreshing and fun. I came upon it by accident.
Thanks Ellen so glad I found your site. These are so fun looking forward to giving them a try! Im also learning to draw from you!
Thank you so much!! They are ADORABLE!! 💕
Thanks so much for a great avenue to learn = I’m relatively new to art and find its jut so great for my peace of mind. I’m 58 and you make the desire to learn something new and totally doable not so intimidating. You are amazing.
Love these! Your birds are very whimsical!
You’re the best!!!! Such an artist! I love watching your videos, and I don’t even paint.
Thank you Ellen. I am able to mix your colours and paint leaves and berries ...wonderful.
ceciliasgrandaughter yay!
Thank you I've watched and listened first so that I can try these myself. I have some paints that I had bought for my late mum when she was housebound before her death. I'm not trained but think I can follow your instructions to make some cards for my family as I'm retired and shielding so home alone and hope this could be the start of a fun hobby! God bless you from vera in Northern Ireland.
Your pace is great because it allows me to keep up without having to pause it every few seconds. These are great to practice!
🎄🦜❣️ Love these. Especially the wreath and bird.
pam bradshaw thank you 😊
‘
This is a great tutorial. I really appreciate the way you describe how you are mixing the colors. That is one of the most difficult aspects for me.
I enjoyed this card so much. Thank you Ellen. Sam.
Always a learning experience, fun, and excellent results!
Thanks Ellen! I'm learning how to draw from you as well as paint! Having fun!
Kay Pinard great thanks!

I had my first water color lesson/class this week. Wow!!
Not so easy!
Practice!!
Beginner!!
But, I am so EXCITED to make your Christmas cards!!
❤️
Exciting !!
Pretty!!
😊💕👍
Your artistic style and ease are your gifts. Your natural verbal delivery compliments them. Please don't change. When I am able I tune in to your channel first!
I love the tip on saving money on paper while still getting to use the good stuff! There is definitely a sticker shock factor with watercolor paper, but once you go 100% cotton you can't go back!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING you make it look so enjoyable the style of the bird is awsome
debbie journigan thank you 😊
I can do these ! They are so cute. ❤ I love your videos Ellen and learn so much. Thank you 😊

Loved it! Thanks.
You’re welcome 😉
These are ADORABLE!!! Thank you for showing how to draw the main elements of your paintings! The owl is my favorite!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
awe thanks!
Mine also!
Is there a printable for this, please?
Just made all of the cards in your other christmas cards video (the one with "Joy" where you are using the same berry and pine needle techniques) and I am so excited to make these too! I love the "other options" for drawing the bird and owl too, allows more room for creativity with less drawing skill lol
isii great! Love it!
These videos are just wonderful!! Thanks so very much for sharing! xox
Great tutorial! I enjoyed your pace and voice, along with clear teaching methods. Thank you! Now a subscriber!
Alisa Muñiz yay! Thank you 😊
Hi Ellen! I’m loving your videos! I’m a complete beginner in watercolor and I’m absolutely hooked. It felt like a natural creative step for me as I’ve been doing adult coloring for the past 2 years. Your tutorials are so easy to follow and I appreciate how you encourage us to “change it up.”
P.S. That owl was so adorably whimsical! 🦉❤️
Color4Laurie thank you so much 😊
All 3 are so awesome. You're the person who took me out of "I can't do that ". Thanks for that, I just needed a kick in the rear. 😂

It's really awesome
I will try surely

Merry Christmas ~♡
Bellissimi! Grazie 💟
FUN!
Ellen I realize that not everyone looks for the religious aspect of Christmas but could you do a tutorial on doing a card with a simple Nativity? Just baby in a manger and or Mary Joseph and the manger would suffice.
I try and keep my videos more mainstream since getting to niche doesn’t play well what I might do is take a poll to see if it’s something ppl want.
@@ellencrimitrent I understand. That's what I figured. Sigh.
This was fun. My bird came out like a puffer fish! Lol
Ellen , I love the ideas your giving us to do , very practical applications 😁 ! P.s. was that Raw Umber in your pallet and not Burnt Umber ? It looked like Raw Umber to me .
*Tracy Born Again Farm Girl lol yes raw umber ! Argh menopause brain 🧠
Lol Ellen , feel you on the menopause brain 🤪 . I thought it was Raw Umber cause it’s the least attractive color (in my opinion) on our pallets 🤣😁😂 !
Happy Thanksgiving.
Could you do something with penguins or animals like polar bears. I really enjoy your teaching methods and find it really helpful as a beginner
I have a cute penguin 🐧 tutorial out right now 😀 will be doing more animals soon!
I signed up for a subscription!
Love it, wish I could do it but I'm to damn old. I keep trying though.
What brushes do you use?
Do you wash off the watercolor palette after each painting or reuse the colors for other painting?
