"I want to finish what I had in my brain..." - that's my daily mantra! lolol so...watching this again - of all the Christmas ideas here on youtube, this is my pick for my cards/gifts this year. So glad you finished what was in your brian.
I actually enjoyed the music. Beautiful piece. It reminds me of a snow globe.
I love this more everytime I watch it!!! The simplicity of it speaks volumes! thank you
Am in the UK, and we have just heard the news that our county is going to go in Tier 3 lockdown. All these people not social distancing and not doing Ellen's Art Tutorials and staying in! My head is spinning as I cannot visit my boyfriend who is in London, I have more time on my hands (again!) but Ellen's art is getting me through this!
I love that you only used like 2 colors in this entire painting, yet It's quaintly elegant.
As a Lockdown beginner who likes abstract and contemporary rural paintings and has followed a number of tutorials (others included online) I would say Ellen is unique in her love of colourful, rustic, and interesting and fun abstract paintings, that other YTubers who teach beginners don't really have. They may have the skill but each painting of Ellen's have a certain something about it, charm without being childish. I really like the building ones and the artistic splash splosh messy abstract art, or even having a beginners abstract journey which will be fun. I am a huge of playing out with textures, fabrics and experimental techniques, even my box house can actually have some charm to it, other than painted for 3 year olds. Also the projects are small which is economical and even if we are in lockdown, we can still be very busy doing lots of other things, and small projects are less intimidating and time consuming for us rookies. The projects are motivating not demotivating
I love your talking, your jokes and your music. You’re awesome, Ellen! You’re so enthusiastic, too! You give us hope that we can paint! Keep it up! ❤️❤️❤️
Love V trees. It was the only thing I could do for the longest time. When I was in college if you didn't take art for Elementary ed. major you had to take a weekend seminar. It was actually the only thing I got out of the class.
Loving the simplicity of this winter beauty.....thanks.
Georgeous and so doable, really love your video’s Ellen, huge inspiration to keep it flowing, relaxed and fun!
Thank you for your instruction. Awesome selection of music as well !!!
I practice branches .. I found it relaxing..I think ornament or snow globe would be amazing
This is gorgeous,,,,xxxx ❄️⛄️❄️☃️❄️
Thanks for showing how to deepen the tones! It happens to often me not quite getting it as dark as I wanted and I always second guess if I should go for it
Love it!! Some iridescent glitter on the snow would be fun to add. Thanks!!
Bravo de France 🇫🇷 j’adore ce que vous faites !♥️🥰💐💐
Hi , love how you deal with the blue sky . Adding more colour and cleaning and spraying !! As a beginner it is good to see that you can ‘manipulate’ your colours . 🙏💕
Ellen, this is such a lovely video. I love the simplicity of the trees. I often struggle with painting trees, but these trees are quite achievable for me. I also love how you laced the painting with drops of snow and added in the star which really set it off. Thank you so much!
You are soooooo great. Ur a great instructor. Beautiful painter.
Lovely
