Dave, I've watched your builds for a long time and have a lot from every one of them. From scale auto too your fotki feed. These people should feel honored too have a master model builder like you here!
The up detail sprocket and chain sets are also a great addition! I'm away to build one for my step dads xmas he's bike daft but never had someone build a high detailed model for him before, and I'm a modeler myself mostly armour ww1 ww2 so my kits are accurate as can be so can't wait to try one of these bikes! I'm really thinking of the CBR white blue plastics one! We call them plastics here like on scramblers I heard you calling them tins earlier.

Tamiya recommends TS-26 pure white be used as a base coat for the TS-83. I've used gloss black when using Alclad chrome but I have seen a lot of guys who prefer the white. I really don't know which way is best. It does seem like a lot of work to use gloss Black paint then clear coat it, only to use Metallic silver over it.

the body panels are called fairings. moto gp bikes cost over a million dollars to build and every part is made one off for said machine and are not available for purchase.. very cool model i haven't built a scale model in close to 20 years but i want to get my 12y old son into the hobby and i plan to order a couple different kits for us to build together
Hi there mate, I built this kit last year, with the markings of Dani Pedrosa. Beware of the decals that come with the kit, especially the dark blue horizontal stripes on the side panels at the seat, they are extremely brittle. The other decals are brittle but not as much as the darker blue ones. Do you have a Facebook site and I'll show you the pics of my finished one. See my avatar.

Hello sir might I say job well done on the build she’s a beautiful beast. Question are the decals good enough or are after market required. Maybe I missed that part? I’ve built many of Tamiya’s military kits and those decals are bad very bad. Heads up as well if your ever in the market to build a military kit that tamiyas 1/32 Spitfire is the single best model kit I’ve built. Expensive yes worth it? Yes.

I wonder why they do not actually have metal parts in metal, with all the 3d printing availeble. I mean I would kill for an actual alu fram, swing arm and forks. Seems a bit stingy not offering those things in 2017 soon 2018.

Calling tank grips "leg guards" makes me think this guy doesn't actually ride. The side plastics aren't called tins or cowlings, they're side fairings. Also you can go to a honda shop and buy an rc213v. It will cost you $184,000...but it's not unobtainable as long as you're a trust fund baby. Cool unboxing though.
