@@scottulbrich5376 I think many comedians start that way. The more seasoned ones like John discover you can still carry the joke without the profanity. I've heard those same jokes in his later career and they are funnier, perhaps because he eliminated all the swearing,
They're just words. Using profanities has nothing to do with a comedian's ability to be funny. There are no such things as "bad words." Words are neutral. Your parents and peers have just conditioned you to be soft and easily offended, and that's sad.
Not only did he get less vulgar, he cut it out all together, and got funnier as time went on. God must have had a bad day and needed someone to make him laugh the day John died.
I couldn't find a comment worthy of John. Not surprised. Carry on. No edit, ty for the thousands of likes. I knew not everyone on YT was without class! Good job!! Rock on!
I remember when I was seven or eight living in Portland Oregon for a little bit it was awesome there that was like 71 I think I lived at 70 70 to 72 I mean! 😎👍
Living proof one is funnier w/o cursing. Rare to see him curse & he's equally funny (& perhaps more so) when he didnt. Just is harder to stay clean. Miss this guy. 😥🙏
It's amazing to see that most of the comments on John Pinette's videos are about the fact that he rarely used cuss words in his shows! He was a very talented and funny comedian and deserves better tribute to his memory. It would be better to praise his many qualities as a stand-up comedian, rather than just focusing on the aspect of him using "clean" language. This kind of comments are nothing more than hypocrisy, typical of false puritans.
I was a bit confused as to why John was dropping the F bomb so much when normally his show is pretty clean, then I noticed it was filmed in Portland and, as the old saying goes, you gotta play to your audience.
Bill Bushey Yeah, a lot of them do and then they realize people are only laughing at the cussing rather the joke. Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan both used F-bombs in their early days.
Lmao! I have an obese sister that has been kicked out of an all you can eat after 7 hours of her and the person she was with eating and she complained about it! Away about 130 lbs she weighs about 550
So true. I didn't discover this comic until I watched 'The Punisher' and then realized he did stand up. He has a lot of shows on CZcams that have the same scene...but I still love watching them.
This was the first clip I've seen where John used the F-Bomb. Made me wanna give up on searching out other videos of John. Sad. Unfortunately today, it seems EVERY comedian thinks that have to be a "Potti Mouth" to get a laugh. Canadian comedian Russell Peters was one of the best until he decided to get all trashy. Famous comedian, Red Skelton, once said in an interview, "If you have to use profanity in your act to get a laugh, your material is not funny". Couldn't agree more! Come to think of it, I don't recall ever hearing Jerry Seinfeld use profanity, thankfully. So how could the Seinfeld series be so popular without it? Now Larry David on the other hand???? Don't get me wrong. There are situations in a movie plot where the building tension might lead to an outburst of profanity, as might be expected from most people in a similar circumstance. A good example of that would be the Airport Scene in "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles" where the perpetrator had reached the end of his rope. By my recollection, that was the only profanity in the whole movie. Not just gratuitous running the mouth throughout.
Clayton Root. THAT is SO sad. The fact that you are sO upset by what is actually a word that was once in EVERYDAY use as common language is concerning but if you are so offended by the word fuck it must make life difficult for you.
I have watched almost all his videos . This is the first one where I heard him use profanity. It was made in 1992...maybe he stopped as he kept going...
At this age, you can tell that he was still refining his skills. Which he truly mastered as he got older. RIP, Big Guy!
I think he cursed more in this 5 minute clip, then he did in all of his Specials combined.
And it’s still hilarious
I never knew he cursed until I saw this.
@@Jpgundarun And me as well.
It is worse with the poor language
Better*
I miss this man every day. Thanks for the laughs John.
I really loved him. He really made me laugh! I guess it was his weight
ive been watching john for years and never heard him swear! honestly it was alot of fun watching this clip! its like finding a hidden gem
This guy was truly funny. I am glad he cut the swearing as I never heard a clip like this one. I always admired his clean act.
Ohh grow up, would ya. What are you 7 years old?
yes agree too many f bombs
@@scottulbrich5376 I think many comedians start that way. The more seasoned ones like John discover you can still carry the joke without the profanity. I've heard those same jokes in his later career and they are funnier, perhaps because he eliminated all the swearing,
Any comedian that has to use vulgarity has lost respect for himself and his audience.
They're just words. Using profanities has nothing to do with a comedian's ability to be funny. There are no such things as "bad words." Words are neutral. Your parents and peers have just conditioned you to be soft and easily offended, and that's sad.
John Pinette=Boss
I never heard him curse, I still like him. RIP
God bless Jonn Pinette!
I always found it funny that as the years went on John got _less_ vulgar.
Not only did he get less vulgar, he cut it out all together, and got funnier as time went on. God must have had a bad day and needed someone to make him laugh the day John died.
Yes indeed!!!
Yes he did and for the better. RIP.
This is the 1st video that ive heard John use many cuss words. So glad he cut em out in later years. R.I.P.
Vulgar language is used for a quick laugh and not needed in great comedy
Man this guy was good.
Miss you already big man
Thanks John u still crack me up
we never know when....R.I.P.......a GREAT COMEDIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just really started watching his videos. The guy is Brilliant and funny as heck!
Sure do miss him
This guy makes me laugh so hard , I came back to life!
This is the most I ever heard him cuss in such a short segment, glad he dialed it back down later.
Cringe haha
I couldn't find a comment worthy of John. Not surprised. Carry on.
No edit, ty for the thousands of likes. I knew not everyone on YT was without class! Good job!! Rock on!
Back when Portland was a beautiful city.
I remember when I was seven or eight living in Portland Oregon for a little bit it was awesome there that was like 71 I think I lived at 70 70 to 72 I mean! 😎👍
Most of that coast is still full of rednecks, so why dont you feel at home?
back when you didn’t weigh as much
Was nice to watch him comedy mature-his france italy bit is epic af.
Missed this one... Thanks!!! RIP JOHN
Thanks for the laughs, rip💞
I'm so fucking old I saw this on televison, back when there WAS any televison
90s were the time to be alive. Pre-woke and entertainment was awesome. 95 was probably best year.
I miss the 30's where we were so far from woke we could string up voters without libtards gettin all cancel-ey
By "voters" I mean ... well you know what I mean
I'm glad he decided to go clean.
He swore more in this 5 minutes than in hours of previous live vids I've seen
First time I ever heard him swearing! Never mind he was still an awesome comedian... R.I.P JP....
me too.
wow , didn't know Johns been doing some of his main Jokes since 92 , love em John :D
I was thinking the same thing. I didn't know. But they are good jokes.
1987
Check out the one from Jan 25 1988 where he sings. It's hilarious
Main jokes? That's and interesting concept.
Miss this guy so much. He was so cheated out of his life...
@Jack MeHoff but he had a great fucking time doing it
What a funny guy. RIP
By Jove that guy was great!
Love John Pinette. Never thought of him as an f- bomb kind of guy, Can't put my finger on why, but don't like hearing him swear.
you are an idiot
Agreed. It's still funny, but it doesn't sound "him", like when a band changes genres. He's just not a crass comic.
Keep in mind he was 28 at the time..understandable to hear curse words coming out
Heartily agree. He was the best that I had ever heard. Certainly didn't need to drop to that level. His Starbucks skit on Rick and Bubba is hilarious.
It's a word relax... You should try to get over it
he dropped the cussing; as he got older, he did great comedy, on CZcams, no profanity; before his death.
That, is, a lot, of commas,,,,
Living proof one is funnier w/o cursing. Rare to see him curse & he's equally funny (& perhaps more so) when he didnt. Just is harder to stay clean. Miss this guy. 😥🙏
Did you have the bread? 😂
He was 28 here. Died at 50. Too much bread maybe . . . Great comedian though.
30 years later and Portland has completely lost its since of humor.
It's amazing to see that most of the comments on John Pinette's videos are about the fact that he rarely used cuss words in his shows! So young in this clip !
I could have done without the repetitive "F" word but this is one funny man. 😂😂😂
(So sad he left us so soon. Rest in peace, John Pinette😢)
I was a bit confused as to why John was dropping the F bomb so much when normally his show is pretty clean, then I noticed it was filmed in Portland and, as the old saying goes, you gotta play to your audience.
This was like a cool glimpse into an alternate universe
It’s so weird to go back and watch these old videos of his and hear him cuss like that 😂
I never knew he dropped F-Bombs back in the day.
Bill Bushey Yeah, a lot of them do and then they realize people are only laughing at the cussing rather the joke. Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan both used F-bombs in their early days.
Bill Bushey nothing wrong with that
Fucking-A ~
Who FUCKED UP the meat?!
OMG WAS THIS THE FIRST TIME HE PERFORMED THE CHINESE BUFFET?!
Janae Clarice sounds like it to me or they may have just given him just a short time .
He definetly improved his act later on, and it's got nothing to do with swearing. I'm not offended or bothered by profanity.
Bill Burr, Louis CK and John Pinnettte, how many great comedians come from Boston
later in His Career He cut out the profanity and He became ever funnier
R.I.P.
This better be great fucking bread
“That’s good breaaaad.”
Buncha Karens clutching their pearls here, I see. John Pinette was a legend.
Let the man say what he wants 😏
🤣🤣😂😂
I first saw him on Alf tv show
Never knew his act was rated R. I agree that he was much funnier as PG.
Literally every comment here is about cussing
Unfortunately they do not have anything else like in America the Philippines china Japan it’s really quite sad.asawa po ki🇵🇭
Miss his humor !
And to think in 2020 Portland Or has turned into a shit hole of a city.
You eat rike Fee Rirry!
Lmao! I have an obese sister that has been kicked out of an all you can eat after 7 hours of her and the person she was with eating and she complained about it! Away about 130 lbs she weighs about 550
Never heard him swear before.
Not use to hearing him swear....still funny stuff!!!
5 hours in line... FOR BREAD!
This better be great fucking bread haha
+Robert Severight How long's the line for the linguine and clam sauce?
“That’s good _breaaad.”_
This is his early days😊
he did say at one interview that the later he went on at clubs he would sometimes get a little vulgar. i guess this was one of them.
John using the f-word, my lord in heaven😂🇸🇪
Haha!, “ARE YOU SH**TIN’ ME!?”
RIP
He was only like 28 here
I loved the swearing!!!!! Those that didn't lmao should turn on sesimee Street.
If yall have sensitive ear just say that lol
First time I ever heard him use profanity....1992. He certainly got better with time.
Im not sure if you noticed, every comment, but he fucking cursed!
5 hours in line for bread, that's what you get with socialism.
Scy That was communism. Not all socialist are communists
Ben Gunn That wasn't communism. Oligarchical dictatorships are the antithesis of communism. Get a brain before you try to educate.
Oooooh, comedy video becomes a place for political rants. Nice move.
John was funny he didn't need the F-Bomb to be funny. The F-Bomb doesn't make a joke funny.
So true. I didn't discover this comic until I watched 'The Punisher' and then realized he did stand up. He has a lot of shows on CZcams that have the same scene...but I still love watching them.
very true.
Tom Eddy Get over it
Great clip but it didn't suit him to curse glad he got away from that
Never beard him swear like this
Pot calling the kettle black. Oh! Those sumo wrestlers let themselves go.
He’s good but the swearing doesn’t help
This is a weird special where he swears more then he normally does.
Lmao john pinette going hood.
u forgot about pandas john lol
This was the first clip I've seen where John used the F-Bomb. Made me wanna give up on searching out other videos of John. Sad.

If you wanna stop watching John Pinette because he swears in one set from 30 years ago, then do it, it's your loss.
Clayton Root. THAT is SO sad. The fact that you are sO upset by what is actually a word that was once in EVERYDAY use as common language is concerning but if you are so offended by the word fuck it must make life difficult for you.
when he would swear it took away from his comedy. Swearing is not nessasary.
Very rare to hear him curse. I think this is the only clip he uses profanity.
The crowd were lame
Oh, you’re a sumo wrestler you let yourself go we can get you down to the side 60 waist 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this one he didn't put a lot of enthusiam in his stand up , was funny but lame , not like others of his I have seen where I am in tears laughing
Profanity killed it! So disappointing.......
disappointed over the bad language. he doesn't need that
First time I’ve heard him use profanity! Not cool!!!
cussing doesn't make in any funner...just disgusting!!!
Good grief take his filthy mouth comedy off this list?
Boondockabillies .. no, you hick.
Boondockabillies You have GOT to be JOKING. FUCK OFF you silly bastard.
His swearing doesn't bother me the way it does other people because he's not 'relying' on it for the laugh. Pryor could pull that off as well.
richard was very vulgar
I have watched almost all his videos . This is the first one where I heard him use profanity. It was made in 1992...maybe he stopped as he kept going...
Wow young Pinette cursed.
