I just recently discovered John and went to see how old he was and found out he passed in 2014 at age 50. Dont quite know how I had never heard of him but, what a funny man. RIP John.

Very harrowing that he would have just up and died all the sudden, makes no sense.

John & Louis are the masters of 'the fat joke.' I grew up with neighbors who inherited the overweight heritage. All of us face that S.H.I.T. in our own way! But their hearts were good and always served the community.
Always loved John at JFL but he seemed really off here. He sounds tired and confused which maybe was a foreshadowing. He dropped a lot more weight and aged dramatically over the next two years before his lifestyle unfortunately caught up to him. He is another sad reminder that most comedy comes from pain. Definitely gone too soon. A real, genuine talent. Thanks for the laughs, John.
I just found him on you tube, and he is absolutely funny! I saw another video he had died at. Age 50. So young, and a honest wonderful human being, made me laugh like you dont know what! So glad he didnt live to see the worlds second worldwide pestilence wipe out more people than WW2 or WW1, and he would be starving cause the price of his Buffett would take him a month's worth of making us laugh. The people and nations leaders have changed from bad to worse, lawlessness like no tomorrow! John, is sleeping now, but once this madness is removed once and for all, he will be back. Boy i'll hear his roar, and my laughter once again!!!!😊❤😊😊😊😊😊

Sadly John was found unresponsive in his hotel room. He joins Greg Giraldo, Mitch Hedberg, and Bob Saget as comics who died in hotel rooms.
