I recently read an article on Lebanese leaving Lebanon due to the economic crisis and corruption. They are heading to west Africa especially Ivory Coast, Senegal etc in search of a better life and economic opportunities. They are even sending remittances back home to Lebanon in order to help their families who are in poverty. It’s time for us as a people to wake up and claim our heritage.✊🏿

Not during this trip, was too busy looking for a house and schools. I can recommend a couple of people that can help you with your house search if you don't already have one. We should stay in touch.

@Alexander M, I will not stop because it is the truth. We Congolese have nothing against the people of Rwanda but their leaders. Remember we used to have a very good relation with Rwanda prior to 1996. 12 millions of my brother and sister dead and you are telling me to stop?

Rwanda will never come back if your leaders( army, police...) are doing their job efficiently. If every Congolese knew who to really blame things would have been different for long time, every time you blame Rwanda for doing a mess in your country it's like asking your leaders to keep being unable to know what's better for Congolese. If you are able to understand this comment, you will understand that Rwanda will respect you if your leaders respect you.

Very powerful. My wife, child and I will be in Rwanda in December. What you said, if one would pay close attention was, you have everything you ever wanted. This statement shows by you believing and spoke it, you achieved it. What’s interesting is the question your son asked is limited. While one is tied to only 3 choices, in your life you had many and every choice came to past. I really envy you Doc. My Ethiopian wife and I can’t wait to move back to Kenya after living in the UK for over 25 years. We yearn for that time when we can sleep and wake up knowing that someone will prepare meals for us, clean the house etc. Right now we are just tired of life in the west. I have also contemplated about settling in Rwanda but I guess Kenya is equally nice plus it’s my home. I wish you all the best in your new life in the cleanest and law abiding country in Africa.
