Whenever you talk about Africa, it tastes like the food my mother used to cook for me! Never before has that continent taste so good. Our next move should be to go to the African Union and beat everybody out (Those very bad old men have made us the S...holes of the world). And then crown you as the new leader of USA (United States of Africa)

ikatel Charles well if an employee is mistreated there are courts where this can be addressed. Some of us contribute towards organizations that are leading the way in suing on behalf of workers. The courts in Africa work. Just that sometimes people are too poor to get information or go to courts but it’s possible with creating awareness around worker rights. Most of this is government failure and nothing else. Any investor will respect your laws if you enforced them and created severe penalties for mistreating workers.

We are struggling to create income generating activities with our beneficiaries. Your input and insight is highly welcomed. Any ideas on how to begin or even propose these activities to potential funders?

Hi Torrey, thank you for your inquiry. I saw you just joined the Africa Business Academy, my mentorship program this month - a very warm welcome! Our live hangouts happen regularly about twice a month. Sometimes more than that. However, July/August is usually the time I travel extensively through Africa to create more partnerships and open up opportunities for our Academy members just like yourself. So we have a reduced number of meetings during these two month, followed by a load of opportunity when I return. But you can watch a number of recordings in your ABA membership area. I will ask Crystal Hanson, our Operations Manager to reach out to you, so she can guide you. For any further queries regarding your membership, please always email us at info@africajumpstart.com

Just yesterday the president said one of the factory investor took almost 4 years to get a permit from MAZINGIRA COMMISSION. He was asking himself why so, and he entervened it and after 5 days the permit was issued. Then you could ask yourself why it took 4 years. That is Redtape and Corruption.
