- So the Ahsoka show is only a very short time away and I know that a lot of you will not have seen the hundreds of hours of tv, books and comics that fill in Ahsoka’s backstory before and and after her mandalorian appearance. Ahsoka’s story is a key part of not only the fall of Anakin Skywalker, but also to the galaxy as a whole, going from jedi, to street urchin, to rebel, to something far greater.

So we’re going to dive deep into Ahsoka’s story in the Star Wars canon, going all the way from her birth, to her possible transcendence… with this, you’re going to find out everything you need to know about her before her LIve action series begins.
- Part 1: The Birth of Ahsoka and Her Discovery by Master Plo Koon
Ahsoka’s life begins on the outer rim world of Shili, where she is born to a loving togruta mother and father. She is soon discovered to be force sensitive but nothing much comes of it for a long time. She remains on the planet like any other child of her species would. But then on one dark and gloomy day, a Jedi from the Zygerian species named Latrans shos up and offers to bring Ahsoka to the Jedi temple back on coruscant. Her parents and the rest of their togruta villiage are extremely happy and begin to celebrate the occasion, preparing to send Ahsoka off for a new life. Latrans then takes Ahsoka into her arms and begins travelling back to her ship, but Ahsoka was quickly able to sense that something was eerily off about this Master. Latrans was no Jedi, but instead a bounty hunter hoping to capture Ahsoka and bring her into the Zygerrian slave trade. Having felt this distrubance, Ahsoka runs for her life and used a very similar ability to Grogu in the Mandalorian to call out to a real Jedi to come and rescue her. Either way, her force call actually worked and Jedi Master Plo Koon soon arrived on Shili, to attempt to save the young Togruta from the clutches of the evil Zygerrian slavers.
Now at this point, Ahsoka had to make a very difficult decision. She had to choose to trust either the scary, masked face of Plo Koon, or the beautiful face of Latrans. Thankfully, Ahsoka chose plo koon, teaching her the very valuable lesson “never judge a book by its cover”.
- Part 2: Ahsoka’s initiation and apprenticeship in the Jedi Order
This is where Ahsoka’s story begins for many people. Ahsoka’s introduction in the Clone Wars movie of 2008. Here she begins as a snippy little Padawan with no respect for her Masters and no restraint in battle. Obi-Wan Kenobi believes initially that she is supposed to be his Padawan, but Yoda confirms that no, Ahsoka will train under A nakin. And despite not seeming like it, this was the best possible choice for her. Now this is actually crazy to think about because in Attack of the Clones takes place only takes place about a month or 2 before the movie. The impatient, arrogant and feisty young Anakin is hoisted with a huge responsibility, a student of his own. It is also here where Ahsoka meets Captain Rex for the First time, beginning their long and prosperous friendship.
This leads into Ahsoka’s first major responsibility at the Battle of Ryloth, where she is given her first Squadron command of the Clone Wars. During the battle she was lured deep into a Separatist trap, and refused to retreat despite Anakin ordering her multiple times, leading to the wipeout of a significant number of her men, causing Ahsoka great pain.
Some time later Ahsoka was put into action once again at the infamous Second Battle of Geonosis, bringing her to the location where the Clone Wars began. Displaying incredible acts of selflessness, her and fellow Padawan Barriss Offee were successful in destroying the droid factories, willing to give their own lives to do so, although thankfully that was not necessary. This was the beginning of a long and lasting friendship with Barriss, which will be extremely important in the Ahsoka series. Soon after the battle, Barriss and Ahsoka were sent to the planet Dantooine with medical supplies, but Geonosian brain worms from the surface of the planet infected their crew and soon infected their entire ship, along with Barriss Offee herself.
- Part 3: Practice Makes Perfect (Tales of the Jedi)
As the Clone Wars drag on, Anakin begins to realize that things are only getting more dangerous on the battlefield. Because of this, Anakin makes it his mission to teach Ahsoka how to survive in the absolute worst of Situations. Anakin orders Ahsoka to stand on a marked spot in the middle of a horde of her own clone troopers, and they all switch their blasters to stun before firing a barrage of shots at her. She falls to the ground every single time, failing to block their fire… This drags on over the course of the war until finally Ahsoka gets it.
- Part 4: The Daughter of Mortis - Zábava
When Ahsoka left the Jedi Order, I thought she was still mad at the Jedi for expelling her and nearly prosecuting her. But in reality, Ahsoka learned of the Jedi's corruption.
My preteen self had a crush on Ahsoka the moment I saw her in that Clone Wars movie.
She was my fantasy crush as well
I also had a character crush on her, which was a problem at the time, when I first met her in the clone wars movie. At the end of the series, though, the age gap had been closed so I wasn’t worried anymore.
Dave Filoni made Ahsoka annoying on purpose so that people can love her later on.
your point being?
I think so. Ashley (voice of Ahsoka) once mentioned when the CW movie was out, they were in Season 2 voice works. Season 1 was not aired until a few month after the movie.
I didn't 'love' her later on. If anything I got more tired of her (and her creepy fans).
Your back l miss your channel so much only 10 more days for Ahsoka series so excited this is the way 😁
Thank you so much 😀
I love seeing Ahsoka in clone wars tales of the Jedi and star wars rebels l enjoying seeing her battle of geonosis and siege of mandalore to of my favorite clone wars battles
There goes the Asoka novel. Also, you forgot to mention the part of her story when she realized what had happened to her master. That was very, very impactful. I cannot remember off the top of my head what episode of rebels that was in.
Final episode of season 2 but she kind of gets clues through out the season
@StarForceOne A brilliant summary for the newbies👍
The Council have no but themselves to blame for Ahsoka leaving. They were so deep in politics that most of them were ready to throw her to the wolves than stand by her side.
A lot of what happened in SW is because of The Council weather they do something or sit and spin, like they usually do.
Great editing
Oh yeah, can't wait until next video XD.
Wow. Well done.
Thank you! Cheers!
Where does the story about the slaver come from? Would like to read or watch it
What song is playing at the end?
I know that Luke canonically rebuilt the Jedi Order, but Ahsoka should’ve joined him
Who else is still currently on a marathon for the Clone Wars/Rebels in preparation? Nearly finished with Season 2 in the Clone Wars
I've just started season 2 of my rewatch or rebels. I forgot how good this show is !
@@jackjames6730 At first I was skeptical about it but it really had a good plot

14:20 Ashoka pulls Ashoka out??
😂😂 Yea I was like… errrr uh…

Drinking game: take a shot every time he says, keep this in mind for a later part of the video
Obi wan, plo koon, shaak ti voted against.
Will we get Luke Skywalker in the ahsoka Series
Nope.
@@SpammytheHedgehog Luke Skywalker os rumor to be in the ahsoka Series
How about she is found to be force senstive by using the force to calm most aggressive beast in the jungle and ride on it back to village from hunt at very young age
The only opinion that matters about Ahsoka past is what George Lucas said, not what a comic book or any video game says, without the approval from George Lucas…
Bruh
One of the most tiresomely overated characters in the franchise. Never cared for her, and I'm bored stiff with Dave Filoni's creepy obsession.
