The most incredible set list, it's an exhaustive show of so many Beach Boys hits. The bonus here is Brian is in fine tune and looking good. The sadness is Carl & Dennis is not here.
Yes Brian did a great job . I still have a hard time thinking Carl is gone . Nice to see Bruce and David .
I really wish they called up Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar. I know that era isn’t as well known as great, as it was, to the audience here as the early/mid 60s era that most of the audience is there to pay homage to, but it really would have completed the comeback to have all the living official Beach Boys on that stage. This tour still felt like the real Beach Boys on that stage compared the Mike and Bruce band that tours as The Beach Boys, but man, Blondie and Ricky there really would have made it a totally comprehensive thing that paid respect to the whole history and quality of the group.
Who’s the “Mike” on this tour? Brian did a good job finding a sound-alike who’s as off-key as the real McCoy.
And is that John Cowsill on drums? 👍🏻

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Brian as happy during a live show as he is here. The Brits have always been good to him and he hasn’t forgotten
If you think Brian looked happy here, you'll love this:
czcams.com/video/8UbNwhm2EX8/video.html
They get a great reception everywhere in the US. Though I guess with the British it’s even more shocking as they usually dislike Americans. As an American you’re usually working up hill in certain parts of Europe.
@@ComeAlongKay well there was a point where the U.S audiences didn’t think The Beach Boys were cool and they commercially fell off there while in Europe and the UK they were loved
No we dont
@@ComeAlongKayBritish people copy American music so
Rest In Peace Jeffery Foskett, you are missed.
Jeffs brilliance spotting Brian and Carl many times, many sites, many countries. His 'Dont Worry Baby' here just so special. RIP to a great Beachboy
50 years on ,this combined band may the high water mark for the Beach Boys giving all they could in autumn years
The addition of Brian Wilson’s band sent them over the top here. Very much agree with your comment
This has got to be one of the longest and yet coolest setlists ever. This show has to be properly released.
Fuckin amen
You got to check McCartney's concerts. You will love it

When Brian Epstein toured the Beatles, a set was 6 songs in 18 minutes then bye, bye. Thanks Epstein, you heeb. This Beach Boys show is real entertainment value.

Without a doubt the best performance of the reunion tour! So much to love about this show.
The backing band is doing their thing as always, David's nailing the solos, Bruce and Al are holding down the harmonies and killing their leads like it was still the 70s... Brian's smiling ear to ear and playing with enthusiasm, even playing his piano a lot which is a rare treat to see so much of, and Mike sounds great even with so many songs to take lead on. Carl and Dennis of course were/are missed by all, but their tribute numbers undoubtedly did good by them.
Everyone's in great shape here given their age, and the massive set list does an awesome job showing it. And what a treat to hear "Summer's Gone" too! An already bittersweet song, made way more impactful in retrospect knowing this concert would be their last as a reunited group.
Brian & Al did great keeping the deeper cuts alive through last summer, and Mike & Bruce continue to do the surf/car classics justice to this day. But it goes without saying that nothing will ever top having all the guys onstage together celebrating their good times and great songs.
Thanks for uploading this piece of history!
Couldn't agree more! They were amazing❣️
Mike's voice is always on point. This was a great concert and they all sound great with a good set of songs.
I've gotta say I'm impressed they managed to perform at least 1 song from nearly all their albums over the course of this tour (only _Christmas Album_ , _Love You_ , _Keepin' the Summer Alive_ , and _Summer in Paradise_ were not represented). Nice to see David finally get a lead vocal as well on "Getcha Back," even if it's one of their lesser songs.
Saw this 2012 50th ann tour show in Toronto. Memorable!!
This Wembley vid very reminiscent of the singing and instrument and backdrop screen quality of that night
I was so fortunate to be with my youngest daughter for that show and had chance to dance with her right down front, stage left with lots of others..security was very fair that night. A monster playlist, 50 songs, and everyone a singalong..A classic perfomance that night with Marks, Foskett, Cowsill, Totten, Bonhomme and more huge parts of the show.
To Brian, Mike, Al, Bruce, David (and of course Carl and Dennis) thank you very much for all the years of musical joy.
Beachboys: huge part of our lives. Always respected..forever loved.
Saw this show in Brisbane Australia
What a gig!. The setlist, the voices, all the boys together with Carl and Dennis smiling from Heaven, the backing band,...everything was perfect. This concert should be released in DVD. I was in the gig in Ávila and it was great too. This band is and will be my favourite, their music is full of heart and soul. Thanks a lot for giving us the chance of enjoying with this concert. As Brian always says, Love and Mercy.

Seeing them all on that stage playing songs like This Whole World in 2012 is amazing.
I loved seeing Brian enjoy "Your So Good To Me". Amazing song!!!!😊🤗
HOLY SHJIPTT!!! Like, 50 songs. that's amazing.. a marathon...so many hits....etc. LEGENDARY.
My goodness Darian was amazing on "Darlin"!! Almost channeling Carl's voice from another dimension 😢
They should have had him on This Whole World as well, he nailed that song as well
It makes me so happy to see how much of Today! is in this setlist. Probably my favorite Beach Boys album, that second side is just untouchable
one of the best performances I have ever seen in watching the Beach Boys since the mid 70;s
In seeing the Beach Boys over 100 times since 1974 I agree
Why couldn’t they have used this concert for their 50th Anniversary Tour live album or DVD? It features all of their greatest hits, their legendary classics, as well as many other amazing songs that the band rarely ever played live together. Plus, Brian is absolutely KILLING it from beginning to end, and actually seems to be enjoying himself and having fun, unlike most other BW performances - either solo or with the BBs.
I just wish there was better lighting.
God bless America God Bless Beach Boys 👦
This was such a special tour! This was the very last show of the tour, and despite the public disagreements that were in the press at the time, everyone seems to have a great time. Brian seems engaged throughout the show, perhaps more than in any show on this tour. Bruce seems to be in a great mood, as does Al. During "Add Some Music", Bruce really enjoys Al's singing on his line, and Brian turns around and gives Mike a HUGE smile!! Lots of special moments during this show.
I was there. My musical heroes for the one and only time. Thrilled; and am still - in 2022! - floating around on Cloud 9 as a result. Never been a finer band, never will be. Love, love, love The Beach Boys. Thank you, guys; and also to apollovs for posting this most treasured of memories.
My new favorite video on CZcams.
Very cool and it was part of the 50th Reunion Tour. It was more importantly the last tour will all the surviving original members of The Beach Boys.
We don’t know that they reunite in 2018
It was the most songs we had done on the tour. The last show and most songs. N
That was an awesome performance!!
You and Mike D'Amico were amazing on Pet Sounds btw
Brian's absolutely killing it in here.
Period.
Absolutely. Best performance of the tour!
the some here thank you for doing that video full concert of the beach boys
Thank you for making it all one video instead of all the 17 different parts
Brian looks so happy here ☺️
I should have gone to this reunion...
Me too I wish my parents as well as my grandparents took me when I was 8 years old and introduced me to The Beach Boys.
All heroes, no villains.
:-)
I was there and it was the best show ever, they never stopped………brilliant
That picture at 2:08:42 during God Only Knows, they all look so young and innocent.
Wow Brian’s falsetto in Then I Kissed Her at 30:12 and throughout the rest of that performance it’s so good.
Why isn't this show released on DVD or blu ray? The show that was put out is really short and chopped up
Yeah, I really wish they released an entire performance from this tour. Then left of some killer tunes, like This Whole World.
Nothing better than seeing Brian Wilson getting into it at this point
While I have seen many Beach Boys concert videos, this, by far, is their best. First, this is the most incredible song set-list they've ever done in one concert. They performed just about every song you'd want to hear and much more. Second, since this a 50th Anniversary Concert, every surviving member was there and they all sounded great. So, for me, this is the definitive Beach Boys Concert. Thank you so much for posting it.

This show was great. People in England loved The Beach Boys Im sure. Carl. Dennis wilson are smiling seeing there brother. Brian and two close friends. Cousin mike love and long time buddy. Al. Jarrau
The reason they sounded so good (at times) here was the extensive use of backing tracks & singers, lip syncing etc they are employing, still a treat for the fans.
We need this on dvd!!!
Mike almost dropped the microphone around the hour and one minute mark
Wish Carl and Dennis were still alive
Aj Resendez for sure and sams here and they are awsome
❤❤❤❤ Beach Boys. Rest in Heavenly Peace Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson 🙏✝️😇🙌👏🙌👏🙏💯
why didn't I go. What a setlist!!!!!!
I was there and it was incredible. I never thought I would see "Beach Boys", i'd seen Brian Wilson on the Pet Sounds and Smile tours, but am too young to have seen the whole original line up. But as soon as they started into Do it again I broke into tears. It was the most amazing experience.
I don’t know why people talk smack about Mike Love. He does a great job fronting the Beach Boys. He has earn the right to be there.

I like all nine of The Boys. They all bring good things to the sound.

Thank you very much. They way you filmed the giant screen make it look like a official thing. Just a problel, the 2nd half is out of synch. Is it your film or the loading ln youtube?
I love the song DISNEY GIRLS / my favorite non - Wilson song
They really sounded great on this anniversary tour and Brian Wilson really stepped up to the plate. Probably Brian’s best tour post 1964. But at the end of the day it’s Mike Love who holds down the show because he handles most of the hits and he really delivered...A true showman.
Nah Brian's early 2000s solo tours were legit badass
Ur right tho mike does know how to rock n roll
Everyone criticizes Mike Love because he isn't a nice guy buy he is important in the BB.
@@silvabrothersmusic hes fine. None of the band members were good guys
@@yourmother3207 Oh really? I watched one of the film dramas about them. I think there are two different guys.
But Mike gets loads of hate compared to the others who are loved.
Ultimately it was Brian's father that screwed them all by selling the songs. That catalogue is worth 50 million now at least.

Touching? Brian immediately stopped smiling when he spotted Mike :)
It looks like Brian got scared the moment they made eye contact, his smile just disappeared.
I got DVD
How and where?
The DVD is from Phoenix. This one sounds better but the lighting is terrible.
Who is the man singing the high part? It;s hard to see in this video. He's playing the guitar.
2:54 Was Bruce having a bad voice day or is this how he sounds regularly?
He sounded a lot better earlier in the tour.

Bruce points to Brian on the “don’t believe a word he said” line from Wendy. Just like Fleetwood Mac, the tensions must’ve spilled over into the stage show.
