First off, Congrats on hitting 5K Subs! That is quite a milestone and very well deserved! It's a lot of work running a channel and putting yourself out there to be thrown to the wolves of criticism that can be directed at you. Hitting this mark is a nice perk that tells you that you are doing something right! Congrats again!
The poor man's PS sure is one of the best upgrades you can ever put on a tri five, especially if your wife or GF ever drives the car! I also totally agree on the hardtop restorations too! One was enough for me and I was just a helper on my Dad's Torch Red '55! Great video and keep up the great work! Take care Dan!

I used cone point set screws for locking down gears, and sprockets when I did repairs at the job I had. I also had an assortment of Allen soc caps, that were drilled out to guide a drill bit for dimpling the shaft. I wish I could somehow post a photo of what I just described.

You Need a Cheep set of Transfer punches. Cheep at Harbor freight. Starts like at 1/8 works up in several sizes (?24) to 1/2 in.

I have a set. Don't need to use one when using a pilot tipped drill bit that's the same size as the hole it was in. The sleeve kept the bit straight. Thats why I did it the way I did.

Hi Just wondering if you took a punch with a point stuck it in the hole and lightly tap the punch and then pull that fiber get up out and then punch again and drill the hole just lightly to were the bolt 🔩 just goes in. Anyway this is just an idea 💡 hope you like.

I stated in the video that the bit has a pilot tip on it. Not a standard drill bit. It didn't need pre punched using a bit that fit that tight in the sleeve. I've got it handled
