You have the right idea with the seat upside down and on the table now take all those plastics and snap them into place upside down by attaching them all to the bottom of the seat. So so much easier then mounting on bike

Adjust the carb floats for the leaking problem, and make sure the bar is clean and well lubes for the throttle

Good luck getting any form of paperwork that proves that it’s yours so you can put it on the road also even though it has a clean vin it doesn’t mean that it still was stolen and not reported stolen

Every time he touched the throttle without the grip I could hear his hand sticking
Clean the throttle slide on the inside of the carburetor AND clean the handlebar under the throttle tube. Both of those can cause it to stick.

you should get the rims power coated and get a exhaust, graphics and some protaper bars
Make sure the throttle tube ins't pressed tight against the bar end.

Carb is dirty open it up and soak it in gas it’s clogged that’s why gas is leaking through the overflow same thing happened to my kx85
I have a 03 XR70. Did you use CRF70 plastics? And if so, did you also use a CRF70 gas tank and seat?

That looks like a 2004 crf70 not a 2003 xr70 by the looks of the subframe. Xr70 seats mounted to the fender they didn’t have the little piece that comes off the seat that bolts to the subframe
