@@Mrgiggles9007Depends on the state. Some states have “stop and identify” laws. In order to sustain a charge for concealing identity, 2 things must be true. 1) the officer lawfully stopped the defendant and 2) the defendant failed to identify themselves. In this case, the stop was lawful, the male matched the description of an individual involved in a physical altercation (the determination of aggressor vs victim is the whole point of the investigation) granting the officer reasonable suspicion for an investigatory detainment. If this state has stop and identify laws, he would then by law be required to identify himself to the police.

Well, they knew they were gonna arrest her. as disgusting as it is, many cops think arresting young women is the same as catching a potential one night stand with a random chick. This cop tried to demasculate the victim infront of his gf because the cop thought she'd like that.
There is that and then there is the whole thing going on right now with so many cops being fired after 1 cop was found guilty in a huge sexual assualt case, where the victims had described their abuser (cop) in many different ways. So 1 cop was found guilty in all the cases, even though victims had described completely different features in the cop that assaulted them. EDIT: Where as the rest of the cops that probably was in on this whole thing was just fired after the case.
The surveillance on cops today proves why cops thought full surveillance on citizens would be a good thing. They think the rest of the world is just as crook as they are.

Depends.. What type of woman it is. Do you really believe EVERY woman is treated well? You do know that a lot of women dont report this stuff because they are also not taken serious by the police? Life isnt black or white. The odds of being treated better are higher for women, and much higher for certain kinds of female victims

I don't know the stats for men, but women in abusive relationships take an AVERAGE of 7 attempts to leave an abusive relationship. They've had their self esteem so destroyed they believe they'll never find anyone else.
Never ask an abuse victim "Why didn't you call the cops? Why did you go back?"
It's also nauseating the way the cops spoke to this guy. If someone is getting hit it's a good indication they're also being emotionally or mentally abused
