I don't normally care for Shostakovich. I started listening to this thinking that I would listen for a few minutes. This performance was absolutely riveting. I couldn't have enjoyed anything more.
Even for Waltz #2???
The cellist has some amazing articulation. Never seen so much precision and technique visually , and it shows in the sound. Also enjoyed watching the pianist enjoying the 2nd movement. Amazing.
So exquisite, Santiago; especially under the stress of the competition. I shall spend the next few hours lifting your fingerings.

Wonderful playing,it’s nice to see him sticking to the script not overdoing the nuances. Please get rid of the man bun. Just a personal preference,but I think he’s one of best young talents . Love his clean ringing sound,bravo

הצדיקות שבדור האחרון ויש צדיקים עם מוסיקה מרגשת ויהודית. על בסיס 2. פתרתי. ללא קשר לחלקים. בסיום ב1. 1 לילדים החרדים. 4 לזקנים.
צריך להוסיף למוסיקה סימנים כמו ć č ç ï ì לתווים בטהובן יהיה אחראי. למשל לצורת הרגש והביטוי והמהות בצורה קלה ויעילה. מוסיקה זה דבר לשוני ותורני על ידי מוסיקאים מובילים בהיסטוריה שיעבדו עם רבנים ליטאים. מאיטלקית על בסיס עברי.
