Nancy Maschio I’m glad you saw and heard what I did...lol! I felt ancient listening to their comments, but it made me laugh too. I once told my mother an old lady held me up, she asked me, “How old do you think she was?”. I replied: “ In her 50’s.”. She said: “ My dear how old are you.”. I started laughing out loud because I had to answer my darling mother and say “49”! We both had a good laugh over that....Wait until Rick and Bekka are in their 40’s and their kids think that’s old!!! 🤣
Been watching y'alls vids for several weeks now. You never curse or act like fools and you respect peoples things. Bekah does a great job of filming and always sounds calm and collected. very enjoyable.
My great grand mother's house was like this. My uncles all went to war. They all lived there one time or another. It fell to ruin after she died. They all lived with other family members in their old age. Actually I visited when it had been abandoned the old smiley face clock behind the wood cooking stove ticked and hummed for a few seconds. No electricity and no batteries. The house is so similar it blows my mind. Maybe it had the same story. I love this. I can see her now in the kitchen making biscuits. So cool.

Bekah you are the very best camera person of all the channels. You find the most interesting places. Please continue.
Vivian lowry I agree they are fun to watch especially their reactions to "old" things. Did you ever cook on a wood stove? I'd forgotten that and the scullery.

Aha! Another historian of the old ways. :) I was thinking the wood cook stove was closer to 1900 because of the colour and the ornate side supports of the warming ovens. That coal/wood stove cost a pretty penny in it's day, almost equal to what it would cost to buy it now I would think.
Crisco used to be used to make candles. Their sales dropped with rural electrification. So, they decided to sell Crisco as a cooking shortening. They used the slogan "it's digestible" to convince customers it was safe to eat.
that looks like a giant chunk of coal on that old range from the 40's ! That old TV the Admiral , I worked in a factory back in 1963 where we built those TVs on an assembly line, before they had automatic conveyor lines! WOW !!
This was a fun find. That wood cook stove would bring between one and two thousand dollars and the wood heating stove is about 3 hundred. When my family moved from Iowa to Missouri we had a heating stove like that one. It would work with coal or wood depending on what grate was inside. That old stove nearly let us freeze. Not a very good one at all but we could see the flames through the little windows in the door. Thanks for the share.
I remember going to my Great Grand Fathers house in the country and their out house was wall papered as well and had 4 seats, they raised 8 kids. Awesome paper doll set!
I love your guys videos! But I love when bekah has the camera! She zooms in on everything and so much in to detail almost makes us feel like are there and and. Rick you dig through everything to find stuff awsome explores
I agree. Beka becomes our eyes and concentrates on things just long enough. Also, am I alone in thinking she has a very hypnotic type of voice? I find it very relaxing. Or maybe I'm just a bit weird!!!
Thank-you so much for showing that sweet little bird nest towards the end, as well as the stripy latch on the outhouse... Just so ya know I love the way you shield us from the 'ugly' stuff. So many time graffiti is around but it really ruins it.. so thanks for looking the other way for us. You are very sweet.
AWWWW I actually remember the paper dolls! I do believe they are the ones my Mom bought for me in Kindergarten when I came down with the "MUMPS" yes I did it was 70's and I had ,Had the shot but regardless I had the Mumps.. it was hard to swallow very very weird!! felt like when you blow up a balloon too many times and your glands feel funny.. oh well GREAT GREAT find I LOVED the old house's..thank you
Theresa Oh wow, did your comment bring back memories for me. I think I had the chickenpox and it would have been early 70s, but my Nana bought me paper dolls to play with for the day. My Mother had to work that day and I was school age. Oh well, thanks for the memory!
I love you guys channel,i feel like i can't say it enough, the way you pay attention to detail, you're not afraid to "dig in" and get your hands dirty, how you zoom in on objects with your camera, and more importantly, you keep your words clean!! I love you guys, keep the videos coming and stay safe❤
Such an awesome house! I loved seeing all the old vintage products. Kinda reminds me of my aunt's house...doesn't like to throw things away. But it really makes you appreciate quality products from the past that you don't see now, like glass aspirin jars vs the cheap plastic crap we get now. And it's funny, they didn't even need child proof caps on them because people weren't so stupid back in the day. This was definitely a great find! Thanks for sharing!
I played with paper dolls identical to those when i was a kid. My grandma had them at her house. She also had a Holly Hobby set. Fun memories from my childhood.
I'm in my mid-fifties, the kitchen wall paper, the beer in the fridge and the large TV/STEREO bought back memories; mostly good. Bekah your pace with recording was exceptional. A chance to mull over items for a moment was refreshing. Thanks!
It reminded me of my grandmother's house. She had vacuum n tv just like that. Man what a great fine you two! I subscribed to your other channel. Loved the cat n mouse fun! Thanks for sharing!
Super Amazing house! My mom used to have the same kind of yellow pots that were on the stove. That house is a scrappers dream. The darts on the table are quite sought after. The bonus house looked amazing. Total time stopped.
Love watching your video adventures. I recall when my parents (and I'm 55) talked about growing up in homes with no indoor bathroom - but to find this one wallpapered was fun! My dad shared they had a two seater but only three walls.
Neat house! That "spotlight" Rick was a lamp that hung on the wall. Newer Wallpaper about the 70's. Would've been curious about the clothes in closet. Vintage perhaps. I was also curious about the coal heater. A more recent pine log box was in the kitchen. Looks like maybe a "passer thru " had used the place maybe when it was colder. Shotgun houses were used for railroad people a lot. Don't know if there was a RR track nearby. Enjoyed!
I really like y'all's videos. You come across some really cool old stuff that I have never seen before. And then some stuff that brings back memories, like the paper rolls!
Makes me feel my age seeing you marvel at the vintage of stuff that was commonplace for me at one time. I Enjoy your videos, especially Bekah's camera work.
I'm not into the newer large homes most everyone else wants, just a little old house from the era of this one would make me happy! The stained bead board ceilings add a nice touch to the rooms!
Love the place, you said it was for sale? Any info on who to contact to get a look at the property? I'm in Ohio and want a quiet place to vacation at and possibly to retire to. Thanks for the video it was great to see a place that wasn't destroyed by vandals. That's why I'm asking about it. Looks like the people in the area respect others.
That's from about the 1920s. There is one on display in a museum labeled like that. Also used to have one in an old apartment years ago. That place had been built around 1918 to 1922.
What a cool little place. Its like most everything was left in place. Its just so sad to see houses decay like this.I am gonna check out your other channel too. You two are always the greatest. God Bless
You guys must not smoke. The first thing I noticed in the medicine cabinet was the pack of Kent cigarettes, and I'm a retired doctor! I really like when Bekah actually narrates the house and Rick does 📷. Just that her voice is so soothing. And you're always loud.
Kent drastically changed their packaging design in the mid-1990s. I still have a full unopened pack like that one. When they first started making them in the early 1960s, they used asbestos in their "famous Micronite filter". That didn't work out so well for them.
That'll teach me to read the comments first. I made almost the exact same comment as you about 30 mins ago. I am so glad someone else finds Bekah's voice soothing too. I was beginning to worry I was becoming a bit of a weirdo!!
BeKah I love the way you panned around everything so slowly, and checked out the food containers. It was like walking around with you both. This is the first film I've seen done by you both, I'm sure to watch more if they are so detailed like this one.
Binge watching your adventures. My favorite moments are when Becka discovers a doll and says "Oh, you didn't make it!" in her cute voice. Thanks for the vicarious fun!
the old folks that llived there died and no one claened out the place or cared to keep it up.... It don't take long for and unlived in home to fall apart quickly....
hey guys! I am OLDER lol but I remember living with my grandparents and remembering some of the things you saw. brings back memories! Love the new channel.
You edit the "bad stuff" in the refrigerator and chest, but you can't edit Ricks farts? Should have explored the out house first! Lol. Did Rick have to clean his shorts out after those? Loved the now illegal set of lawn darts, maybe they all killed each other off with them! Lol. Nice explore and thumbs up!
Can't let a girl see magazines with naked women in them for some strange reason but he walks around farting akk over the place. Seems like the kind of guy that likes to give orders. Did you see that at the end when he thought someone else was there? He was gonna take off and leave her.
That's why we always ask permission first before we go in a house. Usually there is always a family that owns the house but don't use it nearby. Then you don't have to worry if someone shows up but if you didn't you can get in a lot of trouble. It is trespassing.
Wow, that old stove and old furnace are really cool. That vegetable wallpaper is late 60s. So is that TV and vacuum... I’d bet those lawn darts on the table are from around that time too. Great find!
IMO the way the glasses and dishes etc. were arranged and the newer newspaper indicates some one has been there packing up things to remove to another location. I am amazed the handles for the wood stove are still there sitting on the table. Frequently they get misplaced somehow in my experience cooking on the dang things. The stove is a real gem too. Bet it still would work and bake too. The scullery or dish washing area is amazing. That sink is old-old and wonderful I'd guess late 1800's/ Victorian piece. By the way never ever taste stuff from any house unless you know exactly when, where and how it came to be there. Not even your best friend's (besides you best ask before tasting). Syrups were often were mixed with bug poison to set traps to kill them. Everyone in the household knew about it so it wasn't a danger.
I grew up where things like this were done but everyone knew so it was not a concern. (Those good old times folks like to talk about carried some risks.) I caution people to not taste test items that can harm them. Old places from those times require caution. So, in a word, yes.
Yeah.. in the 1970's I knew an old lady who kept a jar of molasses mixed with some poison for the cockroaches that invaded her house after her brother moved a few boxes of his from the city. It took a few months but she did manage to get rid of ALL the cockroaches with that method. She would pour a bit into a saucer and put it under the sink... Jar went on the top highest shelf in the back corner. And she warned every visitor to her home.
This is gr8! Wish you would have lingered over the floorcloth(early printed linoleum) in the kitchen! The wallpaper is so cool! Thanks for taking the time that you do, every little detail makes it so real to us armchair travelers!!!
The colorful stacked cups were Tupperware, the rectangular white metal pan on the couch are is from the really old fridge for meat storage. The board on the non wood stove was for bread making and when it was hot out they used it instead of heating up the house. Very cool find!
I remember having paper dolls like you found there. I noticed the lawn darts on the kitchen table. They are a collector item now. I absolutely love that cook stove. Those old beds were amazing time pieces.
Ohh wow that old bruit bottle my dad used that after he shaved he had a lathering brush cup and old re useable razor.wow brings back memories!! Yall have found a beauty
Great video Rick and Bekah. Those first 3 plates at the top of the stack on the dining room table were from the early 70s. I had a set exactly the same ( in Australia)! Those stoves were in amazing shape.its unusual that vermin havent taken over the mattresses, maybe their are bigger predators that keep them at bay. Look forward to the next fab video
I love your videos, you two are my favorite channel for exploring old houses. I like how Rick takes the time to did and I love how Bekah takes her time to capture everything. Sometimes I do think Rick makes he hurry though. I have to say this was a great find but I was disappointed at the picture in the end. You guys disturbed the dining table and staged it. Not cool, it's the one thing I've always loved about you guys because you never did that and so mant explorers do. Also the Bayer bottle wasn't in the medic ent cabinet anymore at the last still shots. 😔
Bekah, I like how you take your time looking at items. Very lots of mold in those homes. interesting to see you two go in homes. Maybe you should consider face makes. Be safe.
The item you called a spot light were decorative lamps, usually placed on each side of the bed headboard. In case you don't remember me, I am older, and have been watching your videos a long time. TY for sharing💖
Bekah you are a good camera person. You take your time to look at things. And you move slow around the rooms. Not just a big Blur. Keep up the good work. See you on the next adventure.
I admired you Rick for telling Bekah not to look at the "dirty magazines" shows your integrity. You both have sweet spirits ❤️
At last! An explorer video where the camera isn't being whizzed around at 100mph. Thanks guys for letting us have a longer look at stuff! 😀

Crisco was originally invented as a lubricant for diesel engines on submarines, after the war it was sold as a cooking oil
Just love your kindness and respect wish we could go back in time to see the love and the laughter hopefully in this home!
It sure did look cozy and comfy.
I'm only 36, and I remember those old bottles of meds. Everything came in glass back then.

Linda Mesa
I was wondering what that was.
Linda Mesa. My sister worked at Admiral in Indiana, in the 1960's.
I was born on 1963 I am 55
A lot of coal mining was done in PA. I was thinking it was a piece of coal, too.
This was a fun find. That wood cook stove would bring between one and two thousand dollars and the wood heating stove is about 3 hundred. Great video. Very cool! Loved seeing the paper dolls. I played with those back in the day. Lol. Those were in amazing shape.
The paper dolls are awesome!!!!
Yeah I really liked those too :))
Those same vintage paper doll sets go for $11-$30 on E Bay
I know! I just re-watched this and don't remember seeing them, which is strange because I had those as a kid!

I love this video! It took me back in time to when I was young! I remember much of what you showed!
What a cool little place. Its like most everything was left in place. Its just so sad to see houses decay like this.I am gonna check out your other channel too. You two are always the greatest. God Bless
Who would have thought we would get excited by old pain killers.
Really old syruy haha there wad a barcode on it.u guys r. Cute keep it up. Watch for snakes
He isn’t loud I’m just quiet lol
She sounds so sweet. My girlfriend hollers and shouts when she talks
You treat Becca very good and it shows in her. I enjoy watching your videos. Especially when Becca is holding the camera. Keep up the good work!
BeKah I love the way you panned around everything so slowly, and checked out the food containers. It was like walking around with you both. This is the first film I've seen done by you both, I'm sure to watch more if they are so detailed like this one.
Thanks very much. This is just our style. :)
It's a darling house.
Interesting love your channel kudos
Binge watching your adventures. My favorite moments are when Becka discovers a doll and says "Oh, you didn't make it!" in her cute voice. Thanks for the vicarious fun!
Stand up and do what's right... that's what I get by watching your videos. Thank you for each property you visit; respect.
the old folks that llived there died and no one claened out the place or cared to keep it up.... It don't take long for and unlived in home to fall apart quickly....
Nice camera movement. Good job. Next time please open the range/oven
I was thinking the same thing
hey guys! I am OLDER lol but I remember living with my grandparents and remembering some of the things you saw. brings back memories! Love the new channel.
Love your explorations! You are respectful and careful, and I appreciate your enthusiasm.
I also love your new channel - Life with Rick and Bekah
Yes, and Bekah's voice is so nice. You picked a winner Rick.
😂😂😂😂
I remember those darts. Can't even believe they were legal
They could have given a hint of what the bad stuff was
That's why we always ask permission first before we go in a house.
Great find!
LOVE this explore. Dont like the videos without contents in the house so much. Such beautiful antiques in the kitchen.
So the syrup could be poisonous??
That's like going back in a time machine wonder why they just left the place
This is gr8! Wish you would have lingered over the floorcloth(early printed linoleum) in the kitchen! The wallpaper is so cool! Thanks for taking the time that you do, every little detail makes it so real to us armchair travelers!!!
The colorful stacked cups were Tupperware, the rectangular white metal pan on the couch are is from the really old fridge for meat storage. The board on the non wood stove was for bread making and when it was hot out they used it instead of heating up the house. Very cool find!
I’ve never seen wallpaper in a outhouse before that was interesting
Yeah it was haha
Good job Bekah
Thank you :))
How cool is this find?! Totally old school stuff.. love it guys😃
I remember having paper dolls like you found there. I noticed the lawn darts on the kitchen table. They are a collector item now. I absolutely love that cook stove. Those old beds were amazing time pieces.
These two are making me feel old..
Mold!! Breathing in...
What a lovely little house. It would have been amazing in its heyday. Another good video from you both.
Awesome vid! 👍🏻 Also, you totally could have passed that butt rip off as a creaking floorboard! 🤣
Ah man, that bonus house looks almost untouched (presumably because it's locked).
I know !! We super wanted to get inside DX
This place seems almost frozen in time.
The magazines ! I want to look at those magazines !
We staged it and put that in description. It was for fun. We didn’t act like it was that way so didn’t see any harm in it.
Rik should keep his unpleasant personal issues and noises to himself!
Thank you very much! I agree emencely!
He said excuse me and if they are like me you cant help it sometimes you let it rip!
LOL , seriously ,it's from all the excitement !! 😉 thanks for videos you two.
does he know how to edit...gross, no one wants to hear that or think on it for one second...ill-mannered.
No, he’s fine, I think it’s funny.
Poor Bekah having to walk through your farts lol. Great video though
The wallpaper is beautiful! So artistic!
Keep up your great work here. I like the fact that you go slow and I can freeze the video to look around. Keep up with the abandoned places.
Did you really just fart on youtube for everyone. LOL
he did, lol
Three times. 😯
@@donnacuddy3948 RIGHT 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oops. :p
'Bad stuff', lol. What are you guys, Puritans?
Robert's Art Studio I like their respectfulness.
Best find yet! You guys are awesome, great find. It looks like the old Yarmush farmstead
Bekah you are a good camera person. You take your time to look at things. And you move slow around the rooms. Not just a big Blur. Keep up the good work. See you on the next adventure.
