- ABSOLUTE must see, by far the coolest place we've ever been to. You all must watch. You won't believe what we found in this place.
****PART 2 HERE. #130 Part 2 | Abandoned UNTOUCHED 70s resort. Amazing place! • #130 Part 2 | Abandone...
****PART 2 HERE. czcams.com/video/mYgAl65jfc0/video.html
Exploring with Rick & Bekah the place where you found a lot of classic cars was definitely a auction
What dose it said on bar, The Golden ? .... then there's plenty of time...? Don't know cuz you didn't pan the camera around on it and show us or read it.
Exploring with Rick & Bekah Probably owned by an older couple who's children didn't want to continue with the business. Updating it alone would cost a fortune. Wonder if they hand a visitor register, How sad.
Exploring with Rick & Bekah you might need a weed whacker for that one room.
Did anyone else see that weird fog float by a little after the 22:03 mark? Very creepy. 😳 Maybe it was the videographer's breath?
Did anyone notice the lack of dust on the furniture ? The lack of cobwebs ? The lack of dust on the cars ?
This place is taken care of.
Oops, maybe I spoke to soon
I think some parts are being lived in by squatters.
Oh, I noticed, lol
glad your not doing my cleaning connie, if thats your idea of taken care of SCRUBBER !
Connie Williams I think so too...or else it would be a squatters’ paradise!
I watch a lot of abandoned videos and I have to say that Bekah is the best video-er ever. She doesn't go so fast that I get dizzy and she shows every thing but doesn't stay on one thing so lone that I want to yell "Move on". Thank you Bekah, I love your videos!!
Attn Peps, Bekah has left the chat.
Yes,she is the best I have watched.
Agreed, Bekah does a good job with a steady hand and moves slow enough but not too slow.
One of the best videos I've EVER seen. All the rooms look like you could just check in. It does appear that someone is taking good care of everything, but wouldn't you think they would want to sell the furniture? I would love to be able to take a walk through there. Great job! I think you have to experience the 70's to appreciate that carpet!
this isnt abandon that corvette was dusted...you are trespassing dont get shot..
This is one of the best videos I have seen guys, absolutely fantastic and awesome 👏 thank you for uploading again love to watch
At 9:32 there is a lamp turned on with an LED bulb.
Not squatters. It’s not abandoned. Somebody owns it and somebody is paying the electricity bill. It’s unused as a resort, sure, but not ABANDONED. It’s definitely not smart for these people to be wandering around someone’s property.
I just discovered these groups of "Explorers" - these videos are so addictive! I used to daydream about doing stuff like this when I was younger. Now, I can enjoy it vicariously thru these young people. Stay safe. Have fun!
And thank you!
Beautiful work as always. I'm just beginning to discover your videos. The 70's interiors furniture and tutor styling is so warming and reminiscent of the time period. Love the colonial and spindle furniture. Sad to see it falling into disrepair water damage and mold. With vision it can still be saved from that fate. Thank you for posting. Now onto video 2!
There is so much there I remember throughout my life. We used things like that on a daily basis. They don't make ' em like they used to.
Great find ! Glad you are keeping the location secret!. Thanks for sharing🌺🌺🌺
I have stayed in resorts in upstate NY as of just a few years ago, 2013 to be exact, and believe it or not there are many places lodging wise that are still stuck in the 70s and 80s, and I have actually have spoken to a few folk from the areas and they say that is all by design they like to keep it retro, either that or there just cheap, but I did stay in a Clarion Resort in Lake George NY and it was defiantly not updated in 35 to 40 years just kept clean so it is very possible this place could have officially just closed 10to 15 years ago
some of those rooms are clean, clearly someone spends some time there.
The place is obviously not abandoned. Unused as a resort yes.
Just my opinion but i think its in the Asheville, nc area
It's got power and it's clean.
This place is definitely 70's.
MG Midget was a popular early-70's car, worth a lot now!
Great find!
Really enjoy your videos and appreciate your respect.
R&B, awesome find! This is by far my favorite 70's time capsule vid. So intact. Sad that so many classic cars got abandoned. I hope this place stays preserved.
I love to watch these abandoned videos!! But I felt uneasy about this place because in my mind it clearly has a groundskeeper with water and power still being on that's why it is still in good shape.
at 22;55 you missed the sheet of paper in the typewriter
all work and no play makes jack a sad boy
all work and no play makes jack a sad boy
all work and no play makes jack a sad boy
It makes jack a DULL boy.

I am reading through these comments and so many of you are saying this is place is not abandoned. I guess so many don't know what the word abandoned means.
To cross check this, I did google it to ensure that I was right before I made my comment .
This place is certainly abandoned. Regardless of power accessing this building. Abandoned meaning …. left , unused, forsaken, deserted, cast aside..... so it definitely is abandoned.
Every place has an owner, but it they choose not to use it.....means it has been left abandoned.
Perhaps one day he will either rip it down or refurbish it.
Perhaps it was left in a will and the new owner doesn't have money for maintenance or doesn't live in the state.
As for people saying there are no cob webs or dust. If you notice its mainly the lower floors that are more preserved than the top floors.
Notice that when they got higher the water damage and rot was far worse.
This being anything closer to the roof would be damaged as the roof wears away.
If a place is sealed and closed , there is no way that dust can come in.
I feel the owners come to check on the place sporadically, ensuring minimal maintenance is done, clearing of grassed areas and lighting preventing vandalism etc.…. thus explaining the toilet cleaner on the table.... they may clean the toilet so they can use it while there.
For those people who are being negative about this video..... saying they are trespassing etc.….. why on earth do you even bother watching it?
Either this video or any other on abandoned buildings?
Its about the thrill and entertainment for us who do watch them. Rick and Bekah did not go in there and trash or be disrespectful in anyway to this building. They gave us some great entertainment and I appreciated their time to do this.
So all you fun police, get of this computer and stop being keyboard warriors and do something else that you find entertaining. Leave us who appreciate this kind of entertainment to continue watching these amazing videos without reading your drivel.
You’re awesome. Thanks for your wonderful comment! Merry Christmas !
@@ExploringwithRickBekah Oh.... you guys are so welcome. I really love watching this video....,keep up the great work. Hope your had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to you both from Australia x
Perhaps you should google "Private Property" too.
Just discovered this channel, loved this video I didn’t want it to end, great camera work too. Is there a part 2 to this video?
NordicBastard amd trespass.
So many questions. So many thoughts.
Thanks for exploring and sharing.
This place could be used as a movie set.
Stranger things season 4
This place definitely does not feel abandoned. Something exceptionally strange, but definitely no vibe of abandonment and the usual decay. Someone appears to be doing their best to take good care here. I have seen many things here I would love to have in my home
The Coke machine!! the place definitely was still being used not too long ago for other things.
24:51 there is a red energy saving bulb on the table. dont think they had them in the 70's lol
Yes that right
machine is from late 1990s
Wrong - the Spiral CFL bulb was invented in 1976. It would have been 'the latest'/state-of-the-art, like many of the features in the resort, at the time
Having grown up in this era, I found myself looking back and getting caught up with past memories. Thank you. I remember working on a computer like that and yes they were very loud and the forever to boot.
Superb tour. Videographer on a roll with this one. I'd really love a sod rug
In my home. That computer was crazy. Thanks for the effort 🐟
This place gives me a something illegal is going on here vibe. Maybe gambling or sex trafficking.
Ikr I was thinking the same
Yoh, I though the same :|
Too abandoned .....be trashed ..if it was ... Stuck in time thou ...
@@lashonhunter5127 I thought so too
Carressa Your making sense to me too .
I Absolutely love this place, 70's decor, untouched, minor decomposition, absolutely perfect find. I remember hearing typewriters here and there in everyday life back then. The Acer54E monitor seems to be from the mid to late 90s. There woulda been a date on it somewhere. It’s seems the place was never only had minor updates from the 70s. I noticed the calendar in your picture said 2003; wow that place woulda looked badly dated back then. Great pictures BTW, do more of those anytime.
Awesome video like a museum loved the deer too! Many memories of my childhood! Thank you! :)
Reflective music at the end. It makes me want to cry because time has flown by so radically. That old giant hard drive was really far out. Good video
You guys truly out did yourselves in this video..
It was the best that I've seen from you guys. You took your time, and showed us so much detail, on little things that are over looked... Thank you. I love how you did this, thank you, hats off to both of you .. and just an FYI... If you want to know , how to legally keep something you've found, get back with me.. I can show you how... Same day.. :). Good bless you guys
Few things to remark: (1) the power is on because someone at some point knew a guy who knew a guy who worked / used to work for the power company and would climb the pole and hook you up if you put the right amount of cash in his pocket.
(2) Based on the bus, this is in NY area and you can tell people there were coming from NYC 646. Given the era and some other stuff, this was probably built with mob money, run as a front business, and when the top dog pinched or the losses got to big to run it, they started using it as a parking lot for cars and set someone up there who lived there with their family, they had a baby, and one thing's for sure, they weren't junkies or the place would be completely stripped. (3) That lazy boy wasn't there in the middle of the room to give a speech, it was there to watch somebody... who could easily be buried somewhere on the grounds nearby. (4) Places like this tended to hit the bricks in the 80s and 90s when RICO prosecutions peaked. Around those times it was common for these kinds of resorts to get sold to someone whose dream it was to run a resort, but who didn't really have the resources needed to update a place like this or keep people coming in the door. They would then resort to things like climbing phone poles to turn the cable / electric back on (5) Everything in this place screams Italian but the one tangible piece of evidence I see in the clip says Irish.
You don't need to run a VIN check, you need to go to the recorders officer (online now anyway) and look up who the past 4-5 owners were. Don't post it here though, or someone will go there and strip the place.
Wow I enjoyed reading this. Great comment. :)
What's 5 you said hibernia at 5. Where is it? Omg
Good comment; wasn't aware of the history. Yes, something so out of the way make sense it would a gangster front.
gdeangelkick not to mention places like this were all over upstate NY. Often used for gambling and prostitution operations, swinger operations and such!
Or he knew the guy that lived there. LMAO
Ohhh yeah memories of growing up 70s best time of my life @xo awesome video NJ girl aka crazy cat Lady @xo
This is beautiful! A great welcome to your channel! I so followed you!
My appreciation for your style has grown, and I like your ethical, curse free delivery. thanks
You’re welcome ! :)
Ditto with Mr. Maati. We your viewers deserve to be respected by not having our ears assaulted. Thanks for your good work.
Funny how she keeps saying how horrible the carpets are. In the 70's those color schemes were the hottest trend in decorating. The Trailways bus tells me the location is probably in the Hudson Valley or New York Adirondacks. In the 70's a family would load into the Country Squire station wagon and travel up the NYS Thruway to such a place.
Being as so many deer are just milling around I would say people are rarely there.
Ginger Europe 60’s carpet
usually with so many deer around it could be that i was there. lol. they lie in wait to run out in front of my car. they tend to huddle in the lower part of my back yard, but sometimes, are standing in my shorter front yard. lol.
@@Leann68 70s
I know I'm figuring that to miss .ginger me and you think the same you must be a 70s girl too yes the adirondacks was big in the 70s families would go there they would advertise it in tv commercials
Catskills,perhaps?
Cool find guys😎. I really liked the cars that you found. The Orange car was an MG that is British from the 1960’s. The black car was a Chevrolet Corvette from the 70’s. I also saw an old 1930’s ford Pickup that was pretty cool . Anyway keep up the good work and also really cool that the place still had power.
That Corvette is a 1978.
I had a 67 midget....all the way over here in aus...its racing red....gorgeous cars...
Close...1977. Two clues: in 1978 Chevy switched from the old notchback rear window seen here to a wrap-around "bubble" window. Combine that with the Corvette flag emblem on the fender and that indicates this is a '77 (prior to '77, the fender badges read "Stingray" in script).
My guess is that the owner actively visits this place and is using it as storage for classic cars and who knows what else, but the place is clearly no longer suitable as a resort business. If I had this kind of property I'd keep old cars on it, no question.
The MG is a Mk IV Midget 'rubber bumper', built from 1975-80 (they were all identical for those six years, just have to look at the VIN plate in the doorjamb to see the production date to determine what year it is), with a 1500cc four with a single Stromberg sidedraft carb. (I had a '75 identical to this one, same color, in the mid-90s), The Mk I, II. & III were chrome bumper cars (1963 to 1974), with 1275cc fours with twin SU sidedraft carbs. The Vette is a '77 with an aftermarket custom front cap with non-hideaway headlamps, and aftermarket hood and rear spoiler (factory rear spoilers weren't available until the '78 model year) and it has the optional factory alloy wheels (RPO YJ8). The Plymouth is a '67 Fury I, with either a 318 2bbl, or a 383 2bbl V-8, and no A/C. The truck is a '28-'31 (no distinguishing characteristics to differentiate one year from another, have to have the serial number to determine which year it is) Model A open cab pick-up with a custom built wooden body. The Ford Thunderbird is a 1965 Landau coupe, 390c.i. V-8 was standard, A/C was optional, could not tell from interior pics in part 2 of video if it had A/C. BTW, this resort is, I believe, in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY.
Yes, 1970s MG.
Extremely nice find. Thanks for sharing friends.
Being 54, I totally remember going places like this on vacay with my family. The TVs the carpets furniture, like walking back I time!
Cindy Reynolds I’m 55 and same! 😊
Someones property people....Not Abandoned !!!
They put the power and lights on to keep people out....
Cars are stored there and not a free for all...Some were not as dusty as others thus someone cleaned then not that long ago.
Some furniture and the Computer are from the 90's and early 00's..
Most decor is early 70's late 60's and mixed with 80's,90's and some could be early 00' stuff..
Remember its not abandoned !
01trsmar
Thanks Einstein.
I thought more or less that it is not abandoned too or why wud there still be light but, It's scary to go into a place w/SO many germs, ewww!!!
Are you sure? Looks abandoned to me.
Or is it a vacation home?
Oh Gosh Golly Gee!!
This all reminds me of some twisted dream or nightmare some of us gets at times. That doesn’t make sense, With all the different elements that unfolds , with the power still left on ,the wild life roaming outside. Some parts in natural decay and most not the vintage cars next to the indoor pool. The whole place being like a endless maze. Yep this sure comes off as some twisted dream , and is one of your best explores. Stay safe,Be careful, and Keep on rolling
Plus there isn't a road to get to it. How would guests have arrived????Maybe by "Da plane Da plane"! Or maybe Scotty beamed them in...
I have dreams of walking into abandoned places that still look usable, yet they are naturally crumbling away, such as most of the building in this video, then I wake up. One of these days I will find something like this, only it will not still be used.
Best urbex video ever, huge fan super filming. Im also a Urbexer from Italy and Switzerland. Have a great summer.
Hey folks love you two awsome videos Everytime have not been on to watch glad to see a fresh interesting vid be safe you two are the best love the places you explore take care of each other and God bless 👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁

#130 Part 2 | Abandoned UNTOUCHED 70s resort. Amazing place! czcams.com/video/mYgAl65jfc0/video.html
very odd they had all those modern folding camp chairs next to the pool don't you think?
That's an MG Miget, I used to have one like that! Great find, and well done on your video captures... You take your time, and it's more interesting for your viewers. Also, thank you for nó background music (except for the music with your closing photos, as it was absolutely perfect! Lovely piano music!) .... Its nice to hear what you say, and it doesn't block any evp's. Cheers,
New Subs in Ireland
Omg!!Beautiful things inside Guys I just love it!!Thank you for do a great job.Hi!From Puerto Rico!!
Cool place, little memo though. This place is not that old, the smoke alarms in the rooms are chirping because they need new batteries. This means the batteries are @ best a year old, so this place was abandoned recently. Still a good find though.😊
Reading through these comments, I was starting to think I was the only one hearing those lol. The smoke alarms chirping is a dead giveaway that this place is being looked after, at least intermittently.
You are hearing the camera taking still shots
It was fire alarm beeping
Bella Rose fire alarms can have a long life battery that lasts around 10 years. Less common but they exist.
that is his self serving camera noises. Definitely not a fire alarm.
I like the chairs made out of barrels... So cool
Based on the plywood you can see going up the stairs in one scene and the wooden planks near the car that don’t seem very old I think this place isn’t abandoned rather having some work done on it by the owners, would explain why they keep the toilets clean, as for dust or cobwebs, cobwebs can be taken off with a broom and dust doesn’t gather much if a place is sealed, based on the plastic cover on the tables and more modern chairs compared to the older cloth table cloths and deterioration on the chairs on a room you can clearly see they haven’t worked on, I think you guys found a nice building having work on it. By definition the place isn’t abandoned, so the title is a bit misleading, maybe even clickbait due to that, I think they got permission to enter a great old building and captured stuff we wouldn’t get to see, which is greatly appreciated and I enjoyed the video just because of that, getting to see a place still stuck in time, especially before it’s remodeled completely. That also would explain why they’re not wanting to give out the location as the owners might not want more people bothering them to go in. Even tho the drug run theory and sex trafficking makes it creepier, think it was just a building they had permission to go into, that might be having work being done on it, still great vid and great work.
You two are so amazing. Sorry I missed you for so long. Thank you
Hi Guys at 22:05 I can see a mist or smoke right side!~
All those double beds in each room? Makes me think it was a swingers resort in the 70's and 80's.
Or still is, or for something along those lines. The sheets didn't look that crusty!
Funny I was thinking the same thing.
This resort was called Porkys retreat and held pipe layers conferences
Those stacked washer/dryers not that old.
Looks like time got stuck in the 70's in this place. Did see several things that reminded me of that era. Great video, thank you for the walk through.
Looks like a cult compound. Very creepy.
I was thinking the same thing. Can only get there on foot. Looks like one to me. All the stages and rooms is really creepy. Probably a place where they bring kids and god only knows what went on in that place.
Probably is a cult compound very creepy that its clean and the beds are made power still on like its waiting for doomsday to arrive or the cult to come back and occupy it again lol
Ya all this isn’t something that’s stopped in time. Someone took the time to clean it out hence the large mess outside as well as the lack of dust and the beds being made. Then the cars also most likely belong to someone and they maybe possibly trying to repair it. So someone is living there
I just discovered your channel and really enjoyed your video. Please be safe out there.
What was really weird about the pool area was the modern chairs all lined up and the zero gravity chairs! The decor is definitely late 60's early 70's! Great find!🔮ɱყʂɬıƈąƖɱơơŋ🌙
the one holding the camera drives me crazy ! this is not abandoned as the lights are all on and working, i saw a bottle of modern toilet bowl cleaner and the car is neately parked inside on a carpet ? Plus i think you guys are trespassing lol.
She drives me crazy too. Yes, we would love to see the ceiling tiles instead of the room and the inner tube instead of the room.
maybe people are storing their cars there bc they dont want to pay for storage.
C'mon, just enjoy the video. Don't be a pleasure sucker!
@@MicheleMJJ EXACTLY my thought! People go so overboard
Its true. Its not abandoned. They're straight up trespassing.
My biggest concern for Urban explorers is that most don't ask permission to enter the property. In most states, there is still a law that allows property owners to shoot trespassers on sight. My fear is that one day I'm going to wake up to read about a Urban Explorer or more gets killed by a land owner for illegal trespass and breaking and entering. You see, these owners have no idea that you are just there to videotape and photograph the place. They may assume you're there to steal or vandlize... or both. As many people do that...many will watch these videos to get ideas on where they can steal or destroy a place that sits empty. Just because a dwelling or building is no longer in use doesn't make it abandoned. It does belong to somebody. It sounds like you are fearful of getting caught, I wonder, why don't you just ask around to find out who owns it and gain permission to go in? Seems like the safest way of doing it. Just my thoughts on the matter. I still enjoy the videos though. Stay safe..
Anne B. You make a good point. I have never thought about that. Stay safe, y'all
That's true same here as well
Your concern is slightly flawed, I believe you are thinking of the Castle Doctrine. But you CANNOT just shoot a trespasser on sight based on the Castle Doctrine. You see, a responsible gun owner must consider the following: 1) Is the property posted? 2) Is the property fenced? 3) Are they threatening the property owner? 4) Is the trespasser a minor? 5) Is the trespasser armed?
If you answer NO to number 1, 2, 3, and 5, and the property owner just shoot the trespasser without solving the issue first peacefully or through law enforcement agencies, I promise you that property owner will be in a lot of legal problems.
Google Castle Doctrine and duty to retreat. You could find them in Wiki.
NOPE... nowhere in the US can you shoot a trespasser on sight. You have to be in fear of great bodily harm to yourself. So if you are in your own house, at night, and find someone stalking through your living room, you can legally shoot on sight... in most states not all. Some you have to try to run away, or retreat to the wall first. But nowhere can you shoot someone legally for being in your abandoned building.
"Most states" do NOT allow you to shoot on sight.
Enjoyed going on the exploration with you. Some footage ,reminded me of the titanic, dining room, hallway with chairs. Enjoyed it all.
Very interesting place. High dollar vehicles - seems not too dusty so someone must visit the place. Stuck in time - awesome!
Did anyone else see the white mist when she was looking at those broken chairs and table before entering that room that grew grass and she says " Omg, Goodness? "
Yup
Did any one else say beetle juice 3 times when they went in the attic? 😂😂
craig phillips omg! Yesssss this place is epic!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Excellent explore! Loved the deer and the kitty. In the downstairs bar there were cool chairs that were made to look like they were constructed using barrels .
Began, loved the music!
Glad you liked !
Un touched 1970s resort. Classic old glass screen televisions, what a find in the garage. Classic 4 poster beds.
That 76 MG Midget definitely needs a new convertible top, but otherwise it looks like you could just gas it up and drive it out of there.
That place has GOT to still be maintained. Theres no freaking way itd be that nice abandoned from the 70s.
Prob just closed down but yeah obviously someone still cares about this place.
VERY nice explore😀
Its so sad to see so much beauty left to be forgotten and destroyed. I would love to know the history of these places but appreciate the fact that people are trying to protect these sites by not giving out the information. I love history and am a 60's baby and enjoy the flash backs these give. It's just so disappointing they can't still be in use as a resort or homes for the needy but I'm sure their are good reasons for the way things are. I respect the fact that you leave things in peace. My heart is very saddened by the loss of something so beautiful.
It might be dusty, but that place is clean cut! You’re not alone there brotha
That looks like that resort from one movie dirty dancing with Patrick Swayze JOHNNY N BABE. I had seen this in another explorer video showing the other end used as an apartment unit that went on fire in the 2011. Anyone rmbr watching that.
The dirty Dancing movie was the first thing that came to my mind. It's weird it looks just like the resort on dirty dancing.
Looks like the resort in Dirty Dancing was the Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia.
I would have loved to see the mural on the wall, at about 35:58 or right in that area. Bekah's battery was dying about then, it looked like a neat forest scene, I'd love to see it, if you go back there again!
Thanks for sharing life with enthusiasm, awesome videos
Thanks for the tour.
Such a cool find!!!!
Interesting find. I would love to see and know more about the cars and the history of the place.
These older places are so cool. Like time just stopped. She is a good videographer too 👍✌
5:35 "antique bed-top thing" (u funny-girl:) I guess folks over 40 or 50 would know that style of bed. If you didn't have one, you knew someone that did. Thank y'all 4 sharin!
My friend had a canopy bed and I was so jealous! I used to want to sleep over all the time! 😄
This looks more like trespassing than exploring.
Excelente video, muy completo muy bien hecho. Hermoso lugar p vivir.
It’s very clean and tidy for something that’s been abandoned for so long!
That was very cool guys, I grew up in the 70's I'm 55 so a lot of that stuff was very familiar to me...there were so many Bar's and Lounge's in that place! people liked to drink a lot back then not as much as they did from the 20's thru the 50's those were real big drinking times for sure. It does make ya wonder whats going on with that place why all the cars are there why is the electricity still on or maybe is was turned on recently to be fix up again, would be awesome to know huh ?! Thanks for another great video always enjoyable :O) P.S. I love how you always watch out for your wife Rick your always making sure shes safe your so sweet ~
Thanks Lori. Some people would disagree with you. Not sure why. I appreciate your kindness.
It was only soft drinks and ice cream cups... it seems they tried to create the world of the Holly Hobbie doll from the creator Denise Holly Ulinskas, the artwork, based on Hobbie's own children and with rustic New England style of a bygone era..it's a mix with rustic and the 70's...
I love it. It has some really great architectural details. Any one know why it was deserted?
I would buy it in a heartbeat.
yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy, someone from my era ...(1964)
What an interesting place, it looks almost frozen in time, very little dust. My favorite was the model buildings. Very well done, I'm glad U kept the location secret, so vandals can't find it.Great camera work, love the deer. Maybe it's called the "Deer Inn" .It looked like at one time many people had a great time there, all the room had great views. Do you know why it is abandoned, do you have any history at all? That photo of the kids party looked very old, the way the kids were dressed was like they did in the 1920"s. Blessings
Owner died in the 90s and shortly after they basically shut down the hotel part. Not entirely sure when it opened. I couldn’t find out much else
rainingmoon7 - if there's so much deer, Lyme ticks could have been experienced by the guests in the rooms and they didn't rebook the next year. This is exactly why my family last vacationed in the Hamptons in 1997. One tick in a room could end decades of customer loyalty.
Bekah, such a sweet voice. Take contrtol with ur man and do history
great video guys. the tv in the end was epic.
How did you find out about the resort in New Jersey
If it's that clean, someone is LIVING there!
Someone might be living there part time as the caretaker or whatever.
Real. nice. Thank. you. both
Stefanie Sombaty I thought that too
@Bryan G They need to work on that roof.
Hi, you totally missed the calendar behind the first bar (the one with the barrel seats). That may have given you an idea when the place was left behind. Computer in office looked like a mid-90's version. Car next to the Corvette was a mid-60's Plymouth Fury. White car was a mid-60's Ford T-bird. Interesting video. Thanks for posting.
Never seen you guys in this place.but many others.you guys are the best with cameras.and bekah as far as what people were thinking in those days it was called acid.lol
It's almost like time just stopped and everyone just disappeared into thin air.
its the rapture. it started there and is just taking longer than anyone knew to hit everyone. or maybe it has. LOL
james daniels Like an episode of the “Twilight Zone”! 😯
Cleanish carpets, cleanish beds, cleanish bathrooms(mostly the first room) all very strange. I would not be in there in case someone returns.
An 70's MG MIdget in the lobby, and when you turned that old PC on - that was hilarious!
This was a goodfind. A real lost in time 70's resort. Even the green algae on the carpet fitted the colour scheme. I Would really love to find the story behind this abandoned place.
Bekah..you mentioned that stripes carpet and what were they thinking..I often wonder if 30 yrs from now people will say the same about our tastes. I thought the same..but in the 70's this was the in thing..I had it too..eeek!!!
How is this place abandoned and the power is still on??
Someone must be watching over the place.
because it is being used for nefarious purposes
Turkeydoodlers L. someone is still watching over the place, if a family member still pays the light bill the property doesn't become a government's property.
Thinking the exact same thing
Wow! Amazing place! Makes you wish someone would come along and salvage everything that can be salvaged....especially those CARS!! More than ever, you gotta wonder what happened. I know your time and battery life is limited, but I want to see every little thing! Did you take photos of the deer? I think that was a neat part of the whole scene. I'm wanting to scream, "Where is the owner? Why don't they clean up and sell all those neat old light fixtures, lamps, dishes, chairs, beds & tables, that neat old hutch, the barn(?) décor on the walls....even some of those neat windows!!??" A lot of it is ruined, but sure wish they would save the rest and not let it all rot. SAD!! Sigh!.....
Wow,you sure are trusting to go in such a place! Could be someone waiting anywhere just for someone to go trespassing, then POW. Guess who did it! We won't tell if you don't. Of course YOU can't! Wonder why!😎
Wow thank s for taking us along love
Alright the Tbird and the old panel truck are frickin awesome…👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It gives me the creeps, getting a bad vibe from it and how can people say its not abandoned its evident plus the old style furniture/damage come on doesn't take a genius to figure it out... Great find guys 👍🏾
Thx. So glad you understand ! Clearly the place isn’t being used anymore.
It just goes to show you that material things are nice but are not to be cherish cause you can't take them with you so enjoy life as it happens for one day it'll all be gone
best walkthrough I have ever seen and there must be a million dollars worth of cars there..
A very interesting field trip. This place is definitely worth seeing.
