Hello ! First thanks for your videos, it helped me a lot of times. I've a question : I got a patient who probably got a MCL injury ( palpation is painful and the valgus stress test is also painful, all others tests for meniscus, ligaments etc... are negatives ), BUT there's clearly nothing in his history that - in my opinion - may cause a MCL injury. He was just walking down a path, not very steep, and suddenly felt an acute pain in the knee, so acute that he almost felt. He is absolutely sure that there was no rotation of his knee when it happened, he was walking for maybe 3 or 4 hours when it happened and he never felt pain in this location before, not even a discomfort. He was able to finish his walk, but since he regurlarly feels the pain on his knee and is afraid to take long walk again. Well, my question is : Does anyone here already heard something like that, like a "spontaneous" MCL injury ? (The patient is in genu varum by the way) Bye !
Perhaps it was loose I believe I tore mine lifting my leg up getting out she shower😂 no slipping or anything but looking back I did tweak it years ago. That may have been the last straw. So same with his step just a possibility.
