In this podcast episode, Dr. Kerstin Luedtke discusses the topic of migraine headaches, providing insights into the definition, classification, and pathophysiological theories behind migraines. She explains the criteria for diagnosing migraine headaches, including the presence of associated symptoms such as nausea and sensitivity to light or sound. Dr. Luedtke delves into the role of the hypothalamus as a key structure in triggering migraine attacks and highlights the importance of understanding the central nervous system changes that occur in individuals with migraines.
Moreover, she emphasizes the need for a holistic approach in managing migraines, incorporating physiotherapy interventions alongside pharmacological treatments. Dr. Luedtke suggests addressing musculoskeletal dysfunctions in the neck, providing education on migraine triggers and symptoms, promoting relaxation techniques, and encouraging aerobic exercise. She also mentions ongoing research areas focused on patient perspectives, the effectiveness of physiotherapy in migraine treatment, and the importance of incorporating patient feedback into future studies to enhance the overall management of migraines.

Great Video..... Thank You❤❤❤
I couldn't understand the conservative treatment for ECU Tendinitis. DIdi you say reduction of the the tendons? What is that? Also, I think you have an incorrect title for the FLEXOR CARPI ULNARIS TENDINITIS. Great content!
Excelent! thank you
I recently did my knee too not a full dislocation slight dislocation and relocation of the knee. I found doing resistance band exercises and machine isolated exercises helped the most with rehabilitation on the knee.
Thank you sm my knee has been popping/clicking/grating for so many years that i just accepted it but recently it’s been hurting so bad that i can barely walk 😿 it’s been a pretty obvious case of iliotibial band syndrome this whole time
SLAP lesion, or Superior Labrum Anterior and Posterior tear,
How many time
i folding my leg rest up on my chair and i got a hamstring cramp so bad i thought it was gonna ripe off the bone! wow that sucker hurt! 😂 i was actually worried i couldnt make it stop it finally relaxed about 5 minutes which is a long time with that pain!
When does one initiate graded exposure exercises when managing an acute low back sprain/strain? Right away or after a period of rest?
Question for anyone who has this, does your tailbone burn so bad you can't sit, stand or move until it quits locking up? I lock up and I can't do anything. If I barely squat to sit when it's doing that it burns so bad and I can't do anything, it feels like fire in my tailbone and feels like someone is stabbing me a million times a second. I jus5 had spine surgery and it staryed doing this about a week later.
Ive dislocation mine by bending down and it just popped out of place but it never really hurt is there a reason why because i keep hearing its suppose to be very painful
Also it's been about a month and it's really stiff to fully bend idk if it's from the knee immobilizer I've been wearing alot
I had migrane, and I cure it, with a good and kwite sleep and a good breathing techniques. Your nose must breathe perfect during your rest time. Sorry about my English
Any specific breathing metode that worked for you ?

Where is the exercise
I missed an explanation of R1 and R2. I guess R1 is the end of the slack and R2 Is the end of range. Am I correct ?
I tore my mcl bilateral 😢 2 months ago. I have been doing physical therapy for almost a month. My left side though is taking a long time. I can’t bend my leg more than 45°. This video is very helpful especially showing the type of exercises at different stages is very helpful. Thank you.

I’ve never experienced this until last night when I placed my leg in an awkward position. Immediately the pain was sharp and I felt a hard lump on my calf muscle. I was so worried thinking there was a blood clot. I stood up and tried to walk it off and it was painful but thankfully it slowly lessened. This morning I can extend my toes and expand my calf muscle and still feel some pain. Horrible experience but I will try hydrating more from now on. Don’t want to experience that again.
Very nice informative videos. Do you also have the videos for the Roll test; Epley Maneuver, and the Semont Maneuver? I came across videos only for Dix-Hallpike; Barbecue Maneuve and Gufoni Maneuver! Kindly share links if you have the videos for Roll test; Epley Maneuver, and the Semont Maneuver. Thanks and Best regards.
Search for The videos and add “physiotutors”
I believe I have a posterior labrum tear. I did this test and have no pain during the test, but as I bring my arm back to my side there a large crack with very little pain. Thoughts?
Hi Physio Tutors, quick question, how much does the app have to offer compared to the E-Book, does the app show less content based off the book?
The app offers far more than the ebook Also it’s free to download so easy for you to see for yourself. You get the assessments within the assessment tool of the app as well
@@Physiotutorswow your response was rapid, thanks for everything you guys do!

Does SAPS involve increased scalene involvement in shoulder movement?
Worse pain ever....I had it 6 years....
these guys have obviously never dealt with TOS. Those scalene stretches will only worsen your pain tenfold.
are these safe for pregnant women?
I had mri showing husitis and possible labrel tear.... orthopedist said most people have labrel tear but thats not where pain comes from... does that sound correct? 🤓
I’m like 95 percent sure I fractured my elbow but I never went to the hospital because it was during the quarantine and I just woke up to a swollen forearm and elbow growing purple like Barney and I just threw it in a sling and lit oregano for the pain and now my elbow has a little crevice where you can feel in between the bones when I open and close my arm
Thank you! How many reps and sets of 5 seconds? 😊
Queen of tennis ? Leg extensioon helps cutting ? Wrong. Wish you knew what you were talking about. Thats like saying. A bench press helps you box better instead of boxing. Wanna cut better ? Go cut. As no one CUTS. sitting on THEIR A >> WITH THEIR FEET IN THE AIR. LMFAO
J ai besoin celle de la hanche svp
I will also suggest getting joint supplements, I tried the animal Flex join support supplement. This created wonders for my elbows in particular.

I have extraordinarily tight hamstring muscles. With my legs straight, I can barely reach my knees. Forty years ago I was taking a nap in an 18-wheeler truck that didn't have a sleeper berth. I was laying across the two seats and had my feet propped up on the passenger side window frame. As I was drifting off to sleep I felt a sudden piercing pain in the sacrum area. And I have been living with it ever since. Multiple MRIs of the lumbar spine show no disc impingement. Sacrum MRIs, they say, are unremarkable. But the pain is real. I feel the pain mainly when laying on my back. I can only tolerate a few minutes on my back without a piecing pain in that one spot. If I continue to aggravate the source of pain, whatever it is, I experience sciatica that goes down into the foot. I have gotten no help from doctors.
How can someone be sooooo perfect
Really love your detailed explanation of tests. I have used several of your videos for quick personal assessment.
If you're recommending statins, you don't know what you're talking about. They are useless in every way.
Waste of time watching. It works, try it out, its a god send to many who may not have tried it but suffering from back or leg stiffness. U can release muslces with intense pain and get a godsend level of relief. Believe the point is, that it improves blood circulation to parts being rolled and there is internal inflamation which keeps the muscles tight. U would need to do control group studies to establish such claims. Nothing is better than trying it for urself, go get one and try it. May save u a lot of bucks on physio treatments.
