Great video, now i know I can buy farm raised shrimp from the US.I don’t buy anything farm raised
Not all farm raised shrimp are raised like the ones you just saw! Check out homegrownshrimpusa.com
I second that. But not knocking them seem like a great group off ppl . But will alway be wild caught f9r me
Do you know if they ship?
@@BluegabeArrington But do we get 10% off by mentioning BlueGabe??? 🤣🤣
@@BluegabeArrington blue gabe come down in the spring soon to canada and fish world class walleye fishing on the beautiful detroit river, i'll bring u out and get u on fish of a lifetime, also huge white and black crappie as well
I’m also 63 and during my childhood we were given “Sea Monkeys” as a gift. This is one of your most awesome videos!!! Thanks for sharing!
I am a retired wastewater plant manager. You did a very great job in this video, as well as your brother, explaining and giving a basic overview of the treatment cycle. Water cycle, nitrogen cycle and carbon cycle = life.
Sounded like they were discussing yeast, didn't it?
I have just viewed a video of 2 fine & upright American families, so good to realise America has a great many good families that their government haven't yet screwed over in their millions.
Thank you for your narration of your State's Shrimp Industry. Old William over in Australia.
That was very educational, and I love the fact that it is farm raised in America! ❤ Awesome! Please show more shrimp farming products and educational programs. Thank you so much!
It is great to see a commercial shrimp operation doing things right. You know it is not just for show with all of the infrastructure they have. Great video Gabe.
Hey, I buy their shrimp at my grocery store in Tennessee! I buy theirs because it’s produced in the U.S. and I *love* their product… always chubby, clean and delicious.. 💯
Where at in Tennessee can you get them
I’m going to see the kids in Brentwood next week so maybe we can find some there but if not then on to my family in Jacksonville a couple days later. We will be eating their shrimp which is one of my favorite things to eat. It’s a great treat.
Usa baby !
@@mikeeastabrooks6204 trying to find this out as well.
I love the dinner prayer, teach your child how he should go and he will not depart from it. Lovely family.
Religious indoctrination of kids is disturbing, to say the least
I bet he will
"Teach", my Albino Shrimply Pimply A$$. It is Indoctrinate/Mentally Abuse, regardless of how much "Sugar" you add, as if you did not know.
Amen.
I pray to my cats and the get the same results!!
That little gentlemen led one of the best prayers I have heard ! Well done sir ! And we'll done to Gabe and Aubrey! Your doing a great job!
Such an informative video Gabe! Thanks for bringing us along for the field trip, and definitely thank you for inviting Jennifer and I over for an excellent shrimp dinner.
I love any video you do with Crystal and the boys. Any family oriented video you make is a million times better than television.
What happened to Kelly young?
@@PD-we8vf Same as his truck, he upgraded. Luckiest man on earth.
As an Alabama catfish farmer, I appreciate this video. US raised catfish and other aquatic species are very safe to eat. What gives aquaculture a bad rap are the imports from Vietnam. Those fish are raised in the Mekong Delta which is the most polluted river system in the world.
Wonderful to see and hear youngsters giving thanks for the blessings bestowed on us , and of course the Shrimps.
"Wonderful" Child Abuse. Bless your evil heart.
I am so glad you included your brother Aubry, I've been missing him on both your and Robert's channels!
I lost my older brother almost 40 years ago and I love to see Aubry on your video's whenever possible!
Thank you. I always enjoy being in BlueGabe’s videos
@@FishRulesApp Aubry, NO "man crush" here, but you're ALWAYS on point every time I see ya'. (I'm sure it's a "first-born" thing, lol.
Lost my only brother he was older in 2002 to an explosion
One of my favorite episodes yet. I’m a big ol country boy nerd and I love learning new things.
💯 Fascinating
One of the best parts of your videos for me is I feel like I'm right there. I almost want to say something back. This shrimp video was a great surprise. This old dog learned something new.
This is one of the best videos you have ever done. Big brother's talent is becoming your best production feature. This video is amazing. Thank you for presenting the true facts about "aqua farming in Florida".
Unfortunately what most people know about aqua farming has to do with fish coming from India or Vietnam.
Thanks Gabe for such a pro USA shrimp farming video.
Exactly that’s the key with farm raised. Make sure it’s from a USA farm.
All good but this company is owned by Thailand. Not pro USA shrimp farm
@@aaronwoods5900 dang
I went to college for Aquaculture in 1991. My family had a fresh water 31:48 fish farm in Minnesota. Our hatchery was just as clean as this one, but on a much smaller scale. We were th3 largest Walleye producers in the world. Great video.
I lived in Martin Country where Indiantown is located. I watched this and was amazed. Next time I am down there I'll check them out.❤
I enjoy all your content but this one I found to appreciate their efforts in their work and you do such a good job explaining everything! I really loved this video! ❤
Thank You for the excellent video. It certainly was educational. The best of all, the natural environment was not affected. Kudos to Bluegabe and Family, and to the incredible HomeGrownShrimp operation.
Gabriel Great job supporting made in America, This Local shrimp Farm is Exceptional, Thank you all for this very Educational video!
Great informative video. But this company is from and owned by Thailand. Not a US company.
That young man prayer life is getting so much better proud to hear it
This is one of the most satisfying shows I have ever seen. To raise a product without having an impact on the environment is highly commendable. I hope that the US can do the same for rare earth mining without contaminating the environment. Stanley Shearman.
Indoctrinating/Mentally Abusing one's Children is not something to be Proud of. It is something Parent's should be Jailed for. and you know it.
...... What a clickbait title
How is it click bait?? He exposed a shrimp farm that is amazing!!
The entire video title and thumbnail is click bait, which is entirely unnecessary.
"Bluegabe" is the bait I click.
I didn't have a bias about shrimp farming. I didn't know it was a thing, much less a bad thing. I just know I wore myself out cast netting a bucket shrimp the one time in my life I caught the white shrimp run at Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula.
This was great! Props to 'em!
@@DCMAKER133thumbnail of him fishing in their ponds kinda shows he was working with them, I clicked the video expecting to see him working with a shrimp farm in this video
@@GrampiesCornerI would like to know how the shrimp that were 40 days old grew that big in 10 days. Remember the first guy said that those small 1 inch shrimp were 30 days old. So we’re to believe the next batch that we’re 4-5 inch grew that big in 10 days? Not only that but the water was brown af and don’t look clean at all. Also how is that small holding pond filling all those tanks? Sorry but a lot don’t seem right imo.
I really enjoyed this one. I am from Louisiana where catfish, crawfish and alligator farms are always around. I have never heard of a shrimp farm. Adding to my bucket list.
World Class facility....Fantastic! This is how all fish should be produced.
Great to see your brother Aubrey dudes a legend
I've got to say I've watched from the very beginning your very first video and I've got to say this is one of the best videos I think that you have ever done I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot thank you blue Gabe in Aubrey Harrington for the knowledge and everything else thank you for becoming a CZcamsr and giving me awesome footage to watch
brandon--
Harri-Arri? 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, thank you!
I love that you shared this teaching VideoI love that you're a family man.
And teaching your son to pray.
That was awesome.
That prayer by your son before dinner was Freaking awesome, thanks for including it!
This is exactly WHY "Made in America" has significant meaning. But the company is owned by Bangkok, Thailand-based Charoen Pokphand Foods who celebrated the grand opening of Homegrown Shrimp USA. Americans couldn't have figured this out?
nope
This Farm is my neighbor. It was started by a few good Ole boys and ran for years like that but as a much smaller operation. A few years ago they were bought out and expanded into what you see in this video. The huge buildings and all that is new. Previously it was just a bunch of round plastic huts that looked like greenhouses. I will say that the new people are all MUCH friendlier and more neighborly than the original people.
What's the name on the package so i can buy in new York
Yes Thai owned. One of the largest pork and chicken producers in the world. They have farms in Thailand and you have probably eaten their shrimp before whether you know it or not.
@@franbrindachickens lol
I was against farm raised shrimp until now. I'm going to drive over tomorrow to get some. Thanks
This video was one of the best I’ve seen on farm raising seafood. Proud to be an American!
Had my homeschool crew watch this! Fascinating. Loved the water treatment conversation and I appreciated that you didn’t try use smaller words or dumb it down. Great info
Terrific video!! I learned more here today about shrimp that I’ve ever known. I’m glad to see someone is responsibly raising shrimp, because our natural resources are beginning to get strained.
Fantastic video, so educational. I was anti-farm-raised shrimp, but I now see the difference when it's done right. My favorite part was watching your boy say the dinner blessing -- thanks for including that. God bless.
Amazing vid, Bluegabe. I got to wonder where these people were educated to be able to accomplish all this science wizardry!
We need Gabe and Rob to kiss and make up. Life is too short. Family first!
haven't seen what happened so no idea.
This has to be one of my 5 top favorites! Your excitement when you got to throw the cast net was like watching a kid get a present!
Thank you Blue Gabe for teaching your kids to honor God in things as simple as getting food each day....well done!
Great educational video, to the point and moves right along. Great to hear the young man pray. You can tell that he has it in his heart.
Awesome video!! Also I love that Jake has been doing more in the videos and the prayer before dinner! Great job raising those boys!
Gabe ! That had to hit one of your top videos as of research video. I really enjoy that video, very educational for any age group. That's for sharing this video.
This is the first video I've seen in a very long time that captivated me, and I felt compelled to watch it until the end. Great job, and thanks for sharing!
The videos are always better and wholesome when 2 or 3 of the brothers are together doing stuff! Loved seeing Aubrey!
I hope this video encourages others in the biz to step up to higher responsibility to the environment and the customers.
As consumers, we should demand our platters to be filled with responsibly raised shrimp.
Thanks guys!!!
YES I AM GOING CAPS. BEEN WATCHING SINCE PANDEMIC. I HAVE SEEN THEM ALL BUT YOU DID IT. GREAT SUBJECT GREAT KIDS. CRYSTAL. NICE TO SEE YOUR BROTHER. GREAT JOB BLUE GABE!!!!!
They are huge! unbelievable! This is an amazing set up here! I would love to see some of these shrimp in my stores in Ohio. I have to tell you I would feel 100 times better knowing nothing died second hand, no pollutants went into the earth. Maybe I could even afford to eat shrimp! I sure love them. As an aquarium keeper I am very impressed. This looks sustainable, and appears to run like superbly maintained biological and natural, well oiled machine!
Wonderful prayer Jake my man!! This family is of the Remnant, absolutely inspiring for generations to come. Bravo
I'm very glad to have stumbled onto this very informative and enjoyable video. It was eye-opening in regards to a subject that would otherwise remain obscure or overlooked. I enjoyed the whole presentation and would recommend tons of viewership to follow.👍🏻
After seeing all of the fish farms. I needed this video. I am well over the edge impressed. Thank you so much for sharing and thanks to them for doing something so positive.
I really liked you showing how to farm shrimp. It was very informative.Thank you Blue Gabe
Nothing like prayer at dinner time, sitting at the table with family about to dig in to some great looking shrimp. Thank you for showcasing a truly remarkable company.
That was fantastic a video!
Seeing your brother was a huge bonus. I think everyone loves to see the two of you together.
Cool video
Was in aquaculture 20 yrs ago... What an amazing farm... Massive investment but totally worth it...
Love the scientific and environmental focus
Well done
Thumbs up for the family dinner and prayer before eating.
God bless yall from Texas
This is why farmers are so important. It's tragic how little appreciation farmers get. I grew up in farming communities and for all the green "talk" the rest of the world does there is a farmer already doing their part. New feeds, processes, cleaning practices, basically every little thing that can help the quality of their produce and lessen the negative impact on the land. The vast majority of farmers love and respect the earth. This is a perfect example of the way farmers think and work. Farmers are quite literally the backbone of the modern world.
💯Respect!
That’s nice that you involve your kids thumbs up Jake gets the prayer and doesn’t excellent job hats off to you
I’m impressed with Jakes ability to say a great prayer! Very good job for his age.
Projects and keywords for education is great! First keyword to learn: cleanliness.
Thanks for the good field trip experience! I got to travel to a Shrimp Farm from home!
Gabe...this was one of your most educational videos so far ! I love that you included your brother and his wife, nice touch considering his profession. Please do some kinda video with you three amigos !!
Thanks for drawing more attention to this! They're still trawling inshore up here in NC. It's unreal how badly they've destroyed the fishery.
Love having your brothers in your videos. Such a cool wonderful family.
The best part brother is when you say Grace at the table. I know you are thankful, but it really means a lot when you actually show it on video love the videos.
What an INCREDIBLE operation! Very impressive. These are the sort of folks that make America the greatest country in the world.
It’s Thai ownership and engineering, but at least is based here and employs Americans.
Omg, you all are THE MOST adorable family EVER!!! Aunt and Uncle included!!!! ❤👍
I got hooked on watching your videos...Just love the relationship you all have and having fun❤🙏🙏🙏
I am a retired water/wastewater treatment plant operator and have worked for decsdes at wastewater reclamation plants. Interesting process. Whats more interesting are the plants that reclaim to potable water standards (usually better) to be injected back into an aquifer for future use.
Thanks for sharing. Keep those videos coming!
I had wanted to start a Salt & Fresh water Shrimp farm years ago. This was very interesting. Lot of unseen work doing it.
Thank you so much for rising awareness to environmental problems that come with our way of living and feeding ourselves.
I am absolutely convinced that the shrimp from this particular farm are even better and healthier for human consumption as they most likely don't contain any micro plastics and other contaminants which are usually present in ocean water.
Took a tour of a Tilapia farm on the Mekong Delta a few years back. The most disgusting tour ever. I’ll never eat tilapia again. I’m glad you did the tour, and I’m glad they allowed you to film.
It's impressive when you think of all the exposure to new and exciting experiences that are afforded to Jake and Luke.
Great video, love the water control and explanation. Also, love that you are teaching your children chemistry through practical means that they can see, hear, taste, and understand. Thanks for posting this! 🍤🍤
Great video! That density (texture) difference is likely just due to frozen vs never frozen. Ice shreds cells from the inside, like little knives, when it forms, even with flash freezing. So, frozen meats will tend to be more tender. You can think of ice formation as similar to a mechanical tenderizing process, especially for lighter meats like fish and shrimp.
Great video, very informative! You teach your children very well! Your wife is absolutely stunning!.
Can’t wait for the next video! Keep save, keep well!
#Health-is-wealth!
Gabe, one of your best videos yet! Great work. I love seeing you with your family. You are blessed.
What a wonderful dining table, you taught your son to pray at table. Excellent.
You have a great Blessed down to earth Family. Great Video. Stay Blessed.
I love it when your family gets together!
Great tour very educational and wonderful. You did a great job that was very informational if I say that right thank you again. Also thank you for bringing us in with your family as you broke bread. God bless you all.
I would never ever buy farm raised anything, but now I know I can get shrimp from American farm that is awesome
Thanks for sharing another awsome adventure guys, I'm gonna support this company for sure
That’s a lot of knowledge coming outta this video, it’s awesome.
Of all the eclectic info that I've consumed this month this was by far the most nourishing, and tasty too! With so much going on leaving me feeling dirty with a bad taste in my mouth, this was refreshing! Thanks for serving me up a plateful. Oh, I was 6yo in 1970 when my dad retired from the Army. One of the first things we did together after he made it home was raise Sea Monkeys! Great memories!
Outstanding , I have to support Louisiana shrimpers. Thanks for tour ... never knew.
I always always enjoy hearing you and your family ask a blessing for the meal!!!
Probably one of the best youtube videos i've seen in years
22:33 the sugar feeds the anaerobic bacteria. It's the energy source for fermentation. The product of fermentation will be alcohol, methane, other hydrocarbons, and free nitrogen. I'm guessing that in this application the alcohol is just evaporated into the atmosphere.
This is awesome! 100% home grown! What you guys are doing make people proud to be Americans! If the state of FL is smart enough to give you guys additional or sufficient incentives to significantly expand your business, we are talking about a multi billion dollar global industry. All made here in America!
Great video Gabe! Very educational! And getting the extra knowledge from Aubrey & Jennifer was awesome.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Very cleaned and organized is the best in the world 🌎
I am certainly interested in this shrimp farm. It is really neat how the run the water through the cycle. Thanks for the video.
This was GREAT!! What an amazing American made process. They need like a mile (exaggeration) lol of property it looked like, just to house that huge Shrimp facility. You'd never believe that it would take that much to grow and process shimp. FRESH too, So Cool
That kid’s prayer was amazing.
Wow! Most educational video you have made this far. Awesome job… love the change up
What an awesome trip fam .... That was so educational to so many of us . Some schools should be taking trips to such facilities . Our children will grow up knowing how food gets on the tables . Kudos.
Great job with an informative and educational video, really enjoyed learning about the industry and specifically about HomeGrown shrimp! Quality of the operation is stellar! Thank you and may God bless you!
Your son, praying over the food was absolutely awesome. That blessed my heart to listen to that young man lift up. Thanks to our Lord. You can tell he does it often. Thank you for that. I am local to y’all. I live in Scottsmoor. God bless.

In bioflock fish/shrimp farming, the sugar/molasses is added for the good bacteria (which feed on fish waste) to bloom quicker.
Fascinating!!
Great program. Great content and storytelling.
I researched this industry 15 years ago. There are serious shrimp growers in Indiana, of all places. The man I first visited was named Bill Blythe. He used the same method but not as advanced and refined as this method.
They called their water, golden water. They cultured their biofloc water themselves, no algae. Believe it or not, they used $300 above ground Walmart swimming pools. Farmers were producing pacific white, sashimi grade shrimp.
Hopefully, this method of aquaculture will catch on and be a scalable alternative.
